"Dark Souls 2 Final Boss - Nashandra

I really like the overall design of her skeletal form, while the fight itself wasn't particularly challenging, the appearance of Nashandra as the end boss is an interesting twist. Spent the whole game being told to seek out Vendrick, so naturally there's an association with him being the end boss. It turns out, Vendrick is an optional fight. Nashandra is really the one pulling all the strings behind Vendrick's rule and heavily influenced the decision to go to war against the giants.

I painted this iteration of her, clawing Vendrick in the palm of her hand as a gesture of her desire to seek out power from the throne.

Took about 25 hours, a lot longer than planned for a simple painting.
