The entire process
If you have Windows 10, skip the 4 first steps as the option "Show Hidden Devices" is already there on the display tab in device manager.

1.In windows OS launch a command prompt (Start > type cmd on the search box). Command box will appear.

2.Run this command: set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

3.Run this command to start Device Manager from this Command Prompt: devmgmt.msc

4.Once the Device Manager appears, click on View / Show Hidden Devices.

5.Unplug the G27, G25 Racing Wheel.

6.Expand "Human Interface Devices".

7.You will see sub-entries with lighter, transparent icons. These are called "ghosted devices". Select and delete all of those entries. Just do it one at a time.

If your are prompted to uninstall also the drivers, do it.

8.Uninstall your current Logitech Profiler soft.

9.Perform a clear calibration with this file "ClrCalib64.exe" provided by Logitech support. You can download it : HERE[onedrive.live.com]
This file erase the registry entries for the calibration. If you have a 32 bit system try to use this file "lws_clrc.exe" same link as above also provided by Logitech.

10.Perform a clean boot. = Start your computer with microsoft services only. (msconfig).

....indeed reboot your computer with these settings

11.Reinstall the Profiler again.

12.Plug back the G27, G25 wheel when asked by the install wizzard.

13.Revert to Normal Start-up. = Start your computer in normal startup (msconfig).

14.Check if the wheel is properly recognized in LGS.

15.Close LGS and restart the computer if necessary to check if the wheel is properly identified after a reboot.

End.

After this process if you get always some problem it is probably due to a hardware failure or maybe a windows conflict files or missing files (windows update or something like that.)

I get the g25 working in the installed game on pc but when trying to run ATS through steam, steam does not see it nor detect it as a controller. I've disabled and forced stop as suggested by others, and still not working.....

Thank you so much for doing such an awesome guide. The only issue is that your onedrive link is out of date. I do really hope that it can be fixed.

@SunBro Yes indeed the latest wheel driver cleaner software from Logitech is the best. If your issue is hardware so neither the software or any kind of help could solve your issue. I'm very sorry for you... You could buy a new one in second hand used may be. I wish you the best.

Unfortunately, it didn't because it turns out my issue was hardware, not software. But still, that wheel driver cleaner is the newest solution from the logitech so it should be better.
