Stuck in the volcano?

Have you got into the volcano and you got stuck you tried from 1 and another way to pass and you couldnt make it? If you answered yes to one of this questions, this guide is for you.

Ubicating

Well we made it through many hard things in the game, but suddenly we reach an area we think is impossible to pass and immediately a question arises in your head:

How can I get through this part

Well, First of all we have to ubicate...


On this zone we can see an armory with tons of guns and ammo...


Later we have our martyrdom, two automatic doors...



...In order to advance we need to go through the first automatic door, but as soon as we open the second one, oh surprise the one behind you is now close.


And now you find yourself in a big problem, you are now in an area full of enemies, with limited ammo, health and the bulletproof vest that you are now wearing. I think that the first door closing down is a bug (Many people believe that).

The secret

As we said, we are now in a disadvantage because the first door is now closed and we can't come in or out as we please. But here I will tell you a little trick that I found to get through this area with ease, I know I may not be the only one that knows this but I didn't find another guide showing this, I hope this is useful to you.

First things first, do you remember the armory?...


WE GO IN AND GRAB EVERYTHING WE CAN...


Now it comes down to one thing, we locate one of the chairs inside...


Later we drag it little by little...






Now we made it to here with our poor little chair, we put it in the part where opens and closes the door...


When we colocate the chair like that, at the moment we open the second automatic door, the first door will get blocked.

The result

Now we put our dear friend chair in the first door, when opening the second door, we will have free entrance to go back for more ammo, first aid kit, vest, etc.


Did you think that gigantic armory was just to take resources only once?

on the disc version of far cry the big boys will com up to the second door even if u havent opened it yet so u just wait for them to walk up to the door with it closed and their hands would clip through the door and for some reason this includes their hitboxes so u can sit their shooting their hands through the wall and get rid of all the big boys then you will need to go outside and deal with the others normally im not to sure if this works for the steam version

My advice below without "cheating" , just because I like to do all the game without bugs and cheating))) Maybe it's a little bit buggy, but that's ok. I know one more way to do this without aaannnyyy bugs, but that's hard to discribe.

For those who wan't to easily make it on Realism: look at the fifth screen from the top, the doors. You need to lay in the right corner of them after you open it, just in corner between 2 doors, one of them that behind you will be locked. From that place you can kill all the jumping trigens from the sniper rifle, after that big guys will come for you, so you just need to lay in the corner and wait for them. When they comes you will be see only half of their hand and they won't shoot in you. So you just take your shotgun or machineguy and shoot their hands 1 for 1. Theeen, when you need to turn the lyft on you will meet 2 or 3 more big trigens. It's easily to kill them just by dodging their rockets. GL :-)

Lol,I'm dumb.What I did was kill the dudes with guns with the sniper rifle,then kill the first big boi from the right path,then climb a rock and kill the rest of the bois as safe as I could.And that was on the second hardest difficulty.

Its true, the chair have to be placed were it shows it the picture... or it will be thrown away by the door. I learn it the hard way. If its on the other side or middle, the big boys shot it away or the door slams it away...it take some time to get the chair out there and 3 the bigboys are on the top waiting for you to open the last door. You must run back to were they cant hit you and then shoot them one by one. Then you have to use the sniper to take out the jumpers, before you can go outside and shoot the forth bigboy. Jumpers are 1 all back, 1 on the left side and 2 on the right side. Then there are 2 more big boys in the garage where you have to go to activate the elevator. I shoot over there, they will then come out and start shooting at you. Wait until you can take them out or just run on the other side to activate the elevator. Then Run to the elevator...

I played this game when it came out in 2004 until 2006/7 all the way through realistic, but this one i couldnt pass on realistic. I never used any mods or cheats. I dint play MP either. I cant find the original DVD, so i DL it from steam and dowgrade to ver. 1.3 64 bit. Now i started at normal (2. lowest) and will play all levels untill the end. This was a simpel but very good help and i will try it out for sure when im there...very cool tip... I somethimes wonder... why wasnt there any forums like this back in "old days". I must say... when problem is at the biggest.. there is always someone with new ideas they can share.. if thers a place to share... Like this forum.

Do you get aim and shoot by AI in tent behind/through the fabric ? Because to my knowledge, it was not fixed yet the last time I played. Any luck for you guys ?
