Classified Intel Acquisition S Rank (The Easy Way)

The hassle free lazy man's method of obtaining S rank on the Classified Intel Acquisition side-op. Many methods for achieving S rank on this mission are much more complicated than it has to be. In reality, you barely have to move at all and making contact with the informant isn't even required.

Congratulations, You Rode In a Truck

The video above shows the entire 8 minutes the mission takes, but you can really just skip ahead until Snake jumps out of the truck.

Stay in the truck until you reach the big gate to the admin building. Once the truck has started moving through the gate, jump out the right side of the truck and make your way to the metal door just before the gate.
On there other side will be a soldier that will notice you, but will not be alerted if you don't move too far forward. Either take him out with a silenced weapon, or lure him somewhere with the magazine and knock him out.
You can then move freely down the stairs and make a right at the bottom where a bald soldier will be standing. Grab him and interrogate him, and he will drop the real cassette tape you are after on the ground. Knock him out, take the cassette on the ground, then make your way back up the stairs to the metal door you came from.
Make sure no guards are outside looking at the door and then proceed right to where the truck parked itself, making sure no one is around the corner as well. Hop in the back and then wait for it to take you out of the mission zone.



There you go, you win. This same tactic can be used on hard mode, but the soldier behind the metal door can see you a bit further. That's the only real difference.

Also, remember to skip the intro to save some time. That nets you a noticeable amount of extra points!

Very nice. I was getting frustrated. As an alternative you can jump out as you pass the tank and use it. But you'll need to back up to the gate because he gets out on the left side. It's a bit more tricky to not get spotted but fun. And you can get a faster time by exiting through the overpass.

One thing not mentioned: You need to turn off REFLEX in the Game Settings menu in order to get S-Rank. Otherwise you'll score below 50K and only get an A.
