Introduction
There are many guides for this game, but all of them are incomplete or contain wrong information. For this reason, I decided to create a new guide that covers all 95 achievements.

While it's possible to get most of the achievements with a single character, some become unachievable once you proceed through the story. This includes boss fights, locations, items and side-quests. For this reason, you should always explore all maps, talk to every NPC and complete all quests before you proceed to the next location!

Note: I recommend playing a melee Hunter on "Casual" to get as many achievements (80+) as possible during a single playthrough.
Hardcore character
I'm so Hardcore!
Finish the game with a Hardcore character.

I'm even more Hardcore!
Finish the game with a non-Casual Hardcore character.

I'm the Hardcorest!
Finish the game with a Heroic Hardcore character.

I recommend starting a "Heroic Hardcore" character, after you finished the game at least once. Depending on your class, build and playstyle you could really have a hard time staying alive (especially in the first chapter!), but this way you will get all 3 achievements at once and don't have to play "Hardcore" mode several times.

If you want to play it safe, you can make a backup of your savegame regularly. You can find your savegame folder here:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\NeocoreGames\Van Helsing\SaveGame\<random number>
Monsters
Misfit
Killing lots of monsters will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the monsters. Kill 50 enemies.

Butcher
Killing lots of monsters will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the monsters. Kill 500 enemies.

Monsters' Bane
Killing lots of monsters will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the monsters. Kill 5000 enemies.

Satan's Lil' Helper
Killing lots of monsters will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the monsters. Kill 50000 enemies.

Carnage Incarnate
Killing lots of monsters will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the monsters. Kill 500000 enemies.

You should get around 10-12k kills per playthrough, so the last two achievements will take some time.

One of the easiest (and probably fastest) ways to get kills is the infinite monster spawn in "Orichalcum Mines". This won't work in scenario, so I recommend starting a new "Hunter" and play through the story until you reach the mines. Feel free to clear the whole area, but don't attack / kill the "Arachnid Leviathan"!

You can see a good way to approach the boss on the screenshot. Once you trigger the infinite spawn, you don't need to move anymore (even after you use town portal or exit the game).

If you put all ability points into "Body" (same for Lady Katarina) and use the following build, you shouldn't have any problems. You only need to use "Embracing Flames" once every 10 seconds.

This way you can kill around 8000-10000 monsters per hour.

Note: Be aware that performance could get worse after some time, because the dead spiders won't despawn as long as you are in combat! If this happens, just use your town portal and return.
Beasts
Novice Monster Hunter
Killing lots of Beasts will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Beasts. Kill 50 Beasts.

Journeyman Monster Hunter
Killing lots of Beasts will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Beasts. Kill 100 Beasts.

Expert Monster Hunter
Killing lots of Beasts will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Beasts. Kill 500 Beasts.

Monster Hunter Extraordinaire
Killing lots of Beasts will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Beasts. Kill 2500 Beasts.

You can find many Beasts in the first half of the game, but not enough to get 2500 kills in a single playthrough.
Mythical creatures
Perseus
Killing lots of Mythical creatures will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Mythical creatures. Kill 50 Mythical creatures.

Theseus
Killing lots of Mythical creatures will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Mythical creatures. Kill 100 Mythical creatures.

Odysseus
Killing lots of Mythical creatures will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Mythical creatures. Kill 500 Mythical creatures.

Heracles
Killing lots of Mythical creatures will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Mythical creatures. Kill 2500 Mythical creatures.

There are many Mythical creatures in this game, so you should be able to get all achievements during your first playthrough.
Spiders
Novice Exterminator
Killing lots of Spiders will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Spiders. Kill 50 Spiders.

Journeyman Exterminator
Killing lots of Spiders will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Spiders. Kill 100 Spiders.

Expert Exterminator
Killing lots of Spiders will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Spiders. Kill 500 Spiders.

Exterminator Extraordinaire
Killing lots of Spiders will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Spiders. Kill 2500 Spiders.

You will almost solely find Spiders in the "Orichalcum Mines", so you won't get many kills during a single playthrough. However it's easy to get the achievements, because you can:
  • enable monster respawn and clear the area pretty fast
  • play the scenario
  • use the infinite spider spawn that starts as soon as you approach the "Arachnid Leviathan"
Vermin
Novice Rat Catcher
Killing lots of Vermin will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Rats. Kill 50 Vermin.

Journeyman Rat Catcher
Killing lots of Vermin will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Rats. Kill 100 Vermin.

Expert Rat Catcher
Killing lots of Vermin will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Rats. Kill 500 Vermin.

Rat Catcher Extraordinaire
Killing lots of Vermin will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Rats. Kill 2500 Vermin.

You will find lots of Vermin in chapter 2, so you should be able to unlock the last achievement during your second playthrough.
Machines
Novice Mechanic
Destroying lots of Machines will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Machines. Destroy 50 Machines.

Journeyman Mechanic
Destroying lots of Machines will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Machines. Destroy 100 Machines.

Expert Mechanic
Destroying lots of Machines will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Machines. Destroy 500 Machines.

Mechanic Extraordinaire
Destroying lots of Machines will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Machines. Destroy 2500 Machines.

You will encounter a lot of Machines in the second half of the game, but not enough to get 2500 kills during a single playthrough.
Undead enemies
Novice Cleanser
Killing lots of Undead will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Undead. Kill 50 Undead enemies.

Journeyman Cleanser
Killing lots of Undead will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Undead. Kill 100 Undead enemies.

Expert Cleanser
Killing lots of Undead will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Undead. Kill 500 Undead enemies.

Cleanser Extraordinaire
Killing lots of Undead will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Undead. Kill 2500 Undead enemies.

Undead enemies are rather rare in this game, because they only appear in small packs and during special events. Most likely you will get between 500-1000 kills per playthrough.

However, there is one fast / easy way to kill undead enemies: During the quest "Protect the Lair"!

Play through the story until you get the quest from Vlados (don't start it yet) and prepare for the event (just get all generator upgrades and place "Monster-In-The-Box" traps in front of every entrance).

When you're done, save the game (exit to the menu) and go to your savegame folder:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\NeocoreGames\Van Helsing\SaveGame\<random number>

Make a backup of your savegame (character name = file name; just create a new folder or save it to your desktop) and resume the game. Start the quest and your traps should be able to defeat all monsters with ease (you can idle at the green spot). If you want to repeat the quest, exit to the menu as soon as the boss appears, replace the new savegame with your backup and resume the game.

This way you should get >100 undead kills within 5 minutes.
Abominations
Novice Debominator
Killing lots of Abominations will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Abominations. Kill 50 Abominations.

Journeyman Debominator
Killing lots of Abominations will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Abominations. Kill 100 Abominations.

Expert Debominator
Killing lots of Abominations will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Abominations. Kill 500 Abominations.

Debominator Extraordinaire
Killing lots of Abominations will make you famous among the populace and infamous among the Abominations. Kill 2500 Abominations.

There are many Abominations throughout the game, so you shouldn't have any problems to get the last achievement during the second playthrough.
Treasure Hunter
Novice Treasure Hunter

Auras & Tricks
Elementary
Auras and Tricks can come in handy in many situations. Learn an Aura or Trick.

Basic Training
Auras and Tricks can come in handy in many situations. Learn at least 5 Auras or Tricks.

Well-Learned
Auras and Tricks can come in handy in many situations. Learn at least 10 Auras or Tricks.

Highly Educated
Auras and Tricks can come in handy in many situations. Learn at least 20 Auras or Tricks.

Every character starts with 2 Tricks and 2 Auras by default, so you will get "Elementary" automatically. More Tricks and Auras become available later and you can reset your skill points to get the other achievements as soon as you have enough skill points.

Note: The Hunter has only 16 (17) Tricks & Auras available, so you can't get "Highly Educated" with this class. Either play a "Thaumaturge" or "Arcane Mechanic" to level 23 and reset your skill points to unlock the achievement.
Tourist & Explorer
Tourist
The world of Van Helsing is an interesting place. Go out and explore! (Visit 3 different locations.)

Explorer
The world of Van Helsing is an interesting place. Go out and explore! (Visit all locations.)

You will get the "Tourist" achievement when you enter "Croakwood" for the first time.

To get the "Explorer" achievement, you have to visit all locations throughout the game. Keep in mind that some areas are only available for certain side-quests, so you basically have to do everything in a single playthrough to get this achievement.

Let loose the ghost of war
Let Lady Katarina kill a Boss. (Delivering the final blow is enough.)

To get the achievement, Lady Katarina has to kill a boss. It's enough to let her deliver the final blow, so just attack any boss until he is below 30% HP and let her do the rest. Just make sure that you don't use any DoT attacks or minions!

The following bosses should be eligible:
  • The Wingless Messiah
  • Ignis Fatuus
  • Electriferous Beast
  • Tweedledee
  • Tweedledum
  • Electriferous Beast-King
  • Judge Obesovsky
  • Arachnid Leviathan
  • Drill Worm
  • The Rabbit
  • Dark Alchemist
  • Mastermind Genius
  • Breda
  • Marquis of Soot
  • Professor Fulmigati
01. Gorgon Pass
What's in the bag?
Take at least 20 pieces of loot (Gold piles included) from the Domovoy on the Gorgon Pass with a single character.

You can easily miss the achievement, if you don't know what to do. Very early in the game (first map), Lady Katarina will mention a "Domovoy" that has a bag full of loot.

To get the achievement, you need to hit him at least 20 times (one piece of loot for every hit) and pick up the items. Keep in mind that the Domovoy is very fast and will run away as soon as you approach him, so you have to be prepared:
  1. Create a new Hunter
  2. Disable "Auto power-ups"
  3. Fight your way through the map until you can see the Domovoy
  4. Don't use any rage (you will need it)
  5. Select your ranged weapons
  6. Prepare the "Tar shot" powerup 3 times
  7. Set Lady Katarina to "Ranged"
  8. Activate "Ghostly Mirage"
  9. Run toward the Domovoy and attack him

Your "Tar Shot" will slow down the Domovoy for 6 seonds, so you (and Lady Katarina) should be able to land at least 15 hits during that time. Just use the "Tar Shot" again after 5-6 seconds to slow down the Domovoy again and keep attacking.

Manservant
Gain entrance to the village of Markovna with the help of Lady Katarina.
02. Markovna (1)
Chicken Slayer
Kill all Chickens on the loose in Markovna.

Chicken Runner
Kill a Chicken with a Sword.

Just kill all chickens (except the white one) on the streets of Markovna to get the "Chicken Slayer" achievement. If you kill at least one chicken with your sword (this is only possible as Hunter!), you will also get the "Chicken Runner" achievement.

Well Fed [Part 1 of 2]
Find all Mystical Albino Animal Body Parts and eat them.

You can find 2 animals throughout the game, that will drop an item when you chase them for 4-5 seconds. Those items are consumables and will give you +10 HP (chicken) and +25 RES (rat) permanently when you eat them.

The first animal is a chicken near the exit to Croakwood in Markovna:

Hero of the Day
Solve every side-quest in Markovna.

There are 5 side-quests available in Markovna. Just complete the following quests and you should get the achievement:
  • Speak with Romany Leader
  • Journey to the Ink
  • Rusalka Ambush
  • The Blacksmith's Request
  • Salvage Mission

Note: You should always complete all side-quests before you proceed to the next location, because some quests become unavailable later!
03. Croakwood
Sword in the Stone
Pull out the Excalibur from the stone.

The following steps are required to get Excalibur:
  1. Kill the elite monster and pick up the "Ancient Coin"
  2. Throw the "Ancient Coin" into the well, kill all attackers and pick up the "Weapon Oil"
  3. Pull Excalibur from the stone

Trophy: The Wingless Messiah
Defeat the Wingless Messiah.

The Wingless Messiah is an optional boss in Croakwood. You can find an "ominous scarecrow" in the northeastern corner of the map (green circle), that will teleport you to an Ink location upon activation. To get the achievement, you'll have to defeat the boss.

Escort Master
Escort the Traveling Merchant to the Romany Camp with him taking no damage.

You can get the side-quest to escort the traveling merchant at the eastern edge of Croakwood. To get the achievement, you'll have to escort him to the Romany Camp in the southwestern corner with him taking no damage. You shouldn't have any problems if you clear the whole map (or at least the southern part) first.

King's Bounty [Part 1 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

To find the hidden treasure of King Borislav, you have to find several "Mysterious Gemstones" throughout the story. The first gemstone can be found in a crate in the Romany camp in Croakwood (green circle).

Riddle me Wisp [Part 1 of 4]
Answer all the Riddle Wisps correctly (so you don't have to fight them).

There are a total of 4 wisps throughout the game, that will ask you a riddle. You can find the first wisp in the western part of Croakwood, near the Romany Camp (green dot). The correct answer is:
  • "I didn't take your name"
  • "No, but Katarina knows it. Don't you?"

04. Werewolf Den
Trophy: Gruumsh
Defeat the Gruumsh.

Gruumsh is the first boss you will encounter throughout the story. While the fight is unavoidable, the achievement can be missed if you choose the wrong dialog option after the fight! To get the achievement, you have to kill him.
05. Markovna (2)
Bunnyslayer [Part 1 of 3]
Defeat the Rabbit with the Bunnyslayer.

The "Bunnyslayer" is a weapon that is needed for the corresponding achievement, later in the game. The following steps are required to get the weapon:

Markovna:
  • Complete the quest "Find the Mayor"
  • Talk to the Blacksmith (Boris)
  • Accept the offer to use his smithy for 100 gold (you will get a "Crooked Blade")
  • Chose the answer to keep the Crooked Blade for "sentimental reasons"!
  • Talk to "Nutty Stefan"
  • Chose the answer that he's mistaken and the weapon is the "Bunnyslayer"
  • Identify the sword in your inventory

You can now keep the weapon in your stash until you arrive in the Secret Lair for the first time.
06. Ink Rift
King's Bounty [Part 2 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

The second gemstone can be found in a chest in the Ink Rift ("Journey to the Ink" side-quest; green circle).

07. Gallowsbog
King's Bounty [Part 3 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

The third gemstone can be found in a chest in Gallowsbog (green circle).

Trophy: Ignis Fatuus
Defeat Ignis Fatuus.

Ignis Fatuus is an optional boss in Gallowsbog. You can find a wisp in the northern part of the map (green dot) that will start moving when you approach it. Follow the wisp to the western edge of the map where it will become hostile and attack you.

Note: If the wisp gets stuck while following it, just get some distance and it should start moving again.

Explosives Expert
Finish the Salvage Mission quest without setting off any explosives!

The "Salvage Mission" is a side-quest in Gallowsbog. You can get the quest from Dragan in Markovna, who will ask you to retrieve 5 Rusty Bombs for him. There are a total of 10 bombs in the area:
  • 5 with a red fuse (safe)
  • 5 with a green fuse (exploding)

To get the achievement, only collect the bombs with a red fuse!

Trophy: Tweedledee
Defeat Tweedledee.

Trophy: Tweedledum
Defeat Tweedledum.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum are 2 optional bosses in Gallowsbog. To summon the duo, you'll have to rotate the 4 frog statues (green circles) until they face the altar in the center (green X). Both bosses will appear after a short cutscene.

Trophy: Electriferous Beast
Defeat the Electriferous Beast.

The "Electriferous Beast" is an optional boss in Gallowsbog. If you accept the side-quest "The Blacksmith's Request", you'll have to retrieve a "strange substance" from the Dreadknecht camp (green circle) in Gallowsbog. Once inside the camp you'll get attacked by several Dreadknechts and the Electriferous Beast.

Trophy: Frenzied Forest Spirit
Defeat the Frenzied Forest Spirit.

The "Frenzied Forest Spirit" is an optional boss in Gallowsbog. To summon the boss, you have to activate 8 runestones (green circles) across the map. Each runestone gives you a 10% bonus to magic find in the area. Once you activated all runestones, the boss will appear near the brigde (green X).

Trophy: Electriferous Beast-King
Defeat the Electriferous Beast-King.

Trophy: Judge Obesovsky
Defeat Judge Obesovsky.
08. Markovna (3)
King's Bounty [Part 4 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

Place the first 3 gemstones into the statue of King Borislav in Markovna, to receive a "Mysterious Key".
09. Orichalcum Mines
Trophy: Arachnid Leviathan
Defeat the Arachnid Leviathan.

The "Arachnid Leviathan" is an optional boss in the Orichalcum mines. You can find the giant spider in the northwestern corner of the map (green circle).

10. Hauling Station
Worm Slayer
Fight your way through the Orichalcum Mines and defeat the Drill Worm.

Who needs machines when you've got SWAG!
Defeat the Drill Worm without the help of the Elyctric Discharger.

To get both achievements, you have to defeat the Drill Worm without the help of the Elyctric Discharger. There are several towers in the area that can be activated to stun the boss for a few seconds. Just focus on the boss and don't activate any of the towers! Lady Katarina should be able to handle the spiders.
11. Dreadworks
Junky
Swim through 20 Garbage Containers.

Garbage containers are lootable objects like every other treasure chest or box throughout the game. You will find them in areas like Dreadworks and the Rookery. Just loot 20 containers to get the achievement.

King's Bounty [Part 5 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

The fourth gemstone can be found in a Vrikolak corpse in the Dreakworks (green circle).

Riddle me Wisp [Part 2 of 4]
Answer all the Riddle Wisps correctly (so you don't have to fight them).

You can find the second wisp in the southern part of the Dreadworks (green dot). The correct answer is:
  • "Death"

12. Secret Lair (1)
Coil Collector
Complete the Start the Generator quest.

Bunnyslayer [Part 2 of 3]
Defeat the Rabbit with the Bunnyslayer.

You will be teleported to a special Ink location, the "Lost Place", when you use the Ink Gate for the first time after accepting the quest "The Gas Projector". Make sure to get the "Bunnyslayer" from your stash and keep it in your inventory. You won't be able to use your town portal in the "Lost Place" and there is no way to return to the area, once you left it. If you don't have the "Bunnyslayer" in your inventory, you can't get it later!

Viva la Resistance!
Solve every side-quest in the Helsing Lair.

To get the achievement you need to complete 5 side-quests in the Secret Lair. Actually there are 7 side-quests that start in the Secret Lair, but not all count toward the achievement. If I'm not mistaken, you need to complete the following quests:
  • Enemy in Tunnels
  • The Ritual
  • The Swamp Lilies
  • Werewolf on the Run

  • The Assistant
    OR
  • The Ink Is Coming

Note: You should always complete all side-quests before you proceed to the next location, because some quests become unavailable later! I'm not sure about the last 2 quests, because "The Assistant" can be finished in another area (if you choose the generator plan), while "The Ink Is Coming" can be failed. However, I recommend doing all quests that start at the Secret Lair (including "Hidden Treasure") anyway.
13. Rookery
Well Fed [Part 2 of 2]
Find all Mystical Albino Animal Body Parts and eat them.

The second animal is a rat near the entrance of the Rookery:

Trophy: Dark Alchemist
Defeat the Dark Alchemist.

The "Dark Alchemist" is an optional boss in the Rookery. If you accept the side-quest "The Dark Alchemist", you'll have to get a bomb and blow up the vent next to the NPC. Once the vent is destroyed, a group of ghouls and the Dark Alchemist will attack you. Defeat them to get the achievement.

14. Old Tunnels
Trophy: Mastermind Genius
Defeat the Mastermind Genius.

The "Mastermind Genius" is an optional boss in the Old Tunnels, where you have to go during the quest "The Gas Projector". While destroying the experimental gas machines is part of the story, you can actually avoid defeating the boss. So make sure to clear the whole area (green circle), including the Mastermind Genius.

15. Lost Place
Trophy: The Rabbit
Defeat The Rabbit.

Bunnyslayer [Part 3 of 3]
Defeat the Rabbit with the Bunnyslayer.

Inside the "Lost Place", you'll encounter a boss that looks like a white rabbit. Make sure to kill the Rabbit with the "Bunnyslayer" (If you're not playing as Hunter, let Lady Katarina kill the boss with the "Bunnyslayer") to get both achievements! If you use any other weapon / skill or ranged attack (same for Lady Katarina), you will only get the "Trophy: The Rabbit" achievement.
16. Abandoned Research Station
King's Bounty [Part 6 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

The fifth gemstone can be found in a chest in the Abandoned Research Station (green circle).

17. Industrial Port
Smuggler
Complete The weapon shipment quest.

"The weapon shipment" is a side-quest in the Industrial Port. You will get the quest from a dying soldier (green dot), who tells you about a weapon shipment for the Resistance. To get the achievement, you need to complete the following objectives:
  1. Signal the smugglers with the lighthouse
  2. Secure the weapon shipment

King's Bounty [Part 7 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

The sixth gemstone can be found in the hidden treasure ("Hidden Treasure" side-quest) in the Industrial Port (green circle).

18. Secret Lair (2)
Defender of the Lair
Defender of the Lair and defeat Breda.

Spotless Defense
Defend the Lair without a single enemy getting in.

Requirements:
  • Generator Capacity: 108
  • Machine Parts: 108

To get this achievement, you have to complete the quest "Protect the Lair" without a single enemy getting into the Lair. Before you accept the quest, get all generator upgrades and collect enough machine parts to build as many traps as possible.

I recommend using as many "Monster-In-The-Box" traps as possible, because they are very strong and usually kill all monsters with ease. Just place them in front of every entrance and go to a position, where you can intervene in the battle if necessary. Be aware that you will have to kill the boss after the third wave, so just move closer to the traps after the third wave and the werewolfs will attack the boss, too.

Traps are just so cool!
Building a lot of traps can help you though some tight spots if your Lair is ever attacked. (Wink-wink!) Have 25 traps built at the same time.

Requirements:
  • Generator Capacity: 25
  • Machine Parts: 75

There are already some traps placed around the Lair, but you can remove them and reclaim the machine parts. The easiest way to get this achievement is to build 25 "Spike-O-Floor" traps around the Lair.

Diversity in everything
Building a lot of traps is cool but do you know, what's even more cool? Building lots of different traps! (Have one of all different trap types built at the same time.)

Requirements:
  • Generator Capacity: 35
  • Machine Parts: 49

To get this achievement, you need to research and build all 8 types of traps.
  • 3 traps are unlocked by default
  • 4 traps can be researched directly from the engineer
  • 1 trap can be researched after you obtain the trap plan

The trap plan can be obtained from a scientist during / after the side-quest "The Assistant". To complete the quest, you'll have to choose one of the following rewards:
  • Generator Plan
  • Trap plan
  • +5 ability points

It doesn't matter which reward you choose, because the scientist will move to the Secret Lair, where you can purchase the remaining upgrades for 3000 gold each (you need both plans to get the achievement).

19. Old Town
But they are so cute! [Part 1 of 2]
Finish the game without killing a single Igor. (You know, those cute little guys with the flamethrowers!)

This is the first area where Igors occur. Unfortunately the whole map is densely populated and the Igors are usually surrounded by many other enemies. For this reason you have 2 options now:
  1. Run through the area, avoid as many enemies as possible and only complete your main objective (you could easily die this way; not recommended on "Hardcore")
  2. Fight your way through the area and kill everything except the Igors. (this will take some time, but you can clear the whole area and do all side-quests)

I recommend using the second option, because you can get other achievements (side-quests, locations, ink locations) in the same playthrough! Either way it's important to be very careful, because a single attack can kill an Igor on casual! Make sure to take advantage of the different movement speed: Igors are very slow, while most enemies in the area are very fast. Always try to lure away the other enemies before you kill them!

King's Bounty [Part 8 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

Place the 3 gemstones into the statue of King Borislav in the Old Town and enter the Ink portal.

Riddle me Wisp [Part 3 of 4]
Answer all the Riddle Wisps correctly (so you don't have to fight them).

You can find the third wisp in the northwestern part of the Old Town (green dot). The correct answer is:
  • "42"

20. The Statue
King's Bounty [Part 9 of 9]
Find the hidden treasure of King Borislav the Just.

Rightful Heir
Retrieve King Borislav's Royal Scepter.

Once inside The Statue, you can already see the hidden treasure of King Borislav. To get the treasure, you'll have to find 6 more gemstones in the Ink location. Place the gemstones into the 2 statues in the eastern part of the map and return to the treasure, where you will have to fight a boss. Defeat the boss and loot all chests to get both achievements!
21. Industrial Port (night)
Hijacker
Complete The orichalcum shipment quest.

"The orichalcum shipment" is a side-quest in the nightly version of the Industrial Port. You will get the quest from a rebel soldier (green dot), who tells you about two orichalcum shipments in the southeastern part of the map. To complete the quest, you need to collect 20 orichalcum ore (green circles; destroy all crates) and return to the Secret Lair.

22. The Pocket Realm
Riddle me Wisp [Part 4 of 4]
Answer all the Riddle Wisps correctly (so you don't have to fight them).

You can find the fourth wisp in the northwestern part of The Pocket Realm.
The correct answer is:
  • "Thunderbolt"
23. The Gables
But they are so cute! [Part 2 of 2]
Finish the game without killing a single Igor. (You know, those cute little guys with the flamethrowers!)

This is the second area where Igors occur. Like the Old Town, the map is densely populated and Igors are usually surrounded by many other enemies. For this reason you have 2 options again:
  1. Run through the area, avoid as many enemies as possible and only complete your main objective (you could easily die this way; not recommended on "Hardcore")
  2. Fight your way through the area and kill everything except the Igors. (this will take some time, but you can clear the whole area and do all side-quests)

I recommend using the second option again, because you can get other achievements (side-quests) in the same playthrough! Either way it's important to be very careful, because a single attack can kill an Igor on casual! Make sure to take advantage of the different movement speed: Igors are very slow, while most enemies in the area are very fast. Always try to lure away the other enemies before you kill them!

Note: While this is the last area where Igors occur, you won't get the achievement yet. If you didn't kill an Igor throughout the story, you will get the achievement once you finish the game.

Trophy: Marquis of Soot
Defeat the Marquis of Soot.
24. Palace of Machines
Unfulmigator
Defeat Professor Fulmigati and finish the game.

Brute Force
Defeat Professor Fulmigati with all of his Towers, etc. still intact.

To get the achievement, you have to defeat Professor Fulmigati while all of his towers are still active. You shouldn't have any problems to get this on "Casual", because he doesn't have much HP and should therefore die very fast. Just stay in the center of the map and focus on the boss.
« « Miscellaneous » »
Beside the achievements you get while playing the game (e.g. locations, monsters killed, chests looted..), the following achievements are optional and can still be done after you finished the game.
Fortune's Child
Fortune's Child
Gather a Cirtical Hit chance of at least 50%.

To get the achievement, you need a critical hit chance of at least 50%. Since ability points (e.g. dexterity or luck) don't affect your critical hit chance, you'll have to find a way to increase it. Mind the following things:
  • Base critical hit chance: 5%
  • The "Perfekt Aim" perk (110 base points in luck) adds 5% critical hit chance
  • The "Last Stand" trick (maxed out) adds 6.9% critical hit chance while active
  • "Shrine of Precision" adds 25% critical hit chance

As you can see, it's possible to get a critical hit chance of 41.9% without any items. You only have to get further 8.1% through items (including essences) and find a "Shrine of Precision". The latter can be done easily in the Gallowsbog scenario (if you're at least level 27), because there's always a random shrine near the starting point. If you don't get a "Shrine of Precision", just exit to the menu and try again.

Jack of all Trades
Jack of all Trades
Learn every Skill.

This achievement is a bit vague, because the description doesn't clearly state if tricks and auras are required, too. In fact, it seems that you have to learn every skill (e.g. Mystic Warrior, Occult Hunter, Tricks and Auras) at least once. While it shouldn't be necessary to have all skills learned at the same time, you can play it safe and just wait until you got enough skill points.

Note: If the achievement doesn't unlock, try to "save" your changes by pressing "Reset".
Obsessed Alchemist
Obsessed Alchemist
Completely fill up the Alchemy tab of your Inventory so you can't pick up any new Alchemical items.

To get the achievement, try to pick up an alchemical item while your alchemy tab is already full. Since you won't find enough different items in the game to fill your alchemy tab, you have to find another way:
  1. Drop a "unique" essence (or the whole stack) to the ground
  2. Fill up your alchemy tab with health / mana potions (Shift + click to split stacks)
  3. Try to pick up the essence from the ground

Unmovable Object
Unmovable Object
Deliver a Critical Hit against a Charging opponent with a Melee Weapon.

There are very few enemies that can charge (e.g. Hookbeasts, Professor Fulmigati), so I recommend going to the Industrial Port where you can find many Hookbeasts. Just clear the area around them and wait for a charge. To get the achievement, you have to deliver a critical hit with your melee weapon while the enemy is charging. This can take a while, because you won't be able to deliver more than 1-2 hits per charge. Keep running away from the Hookbeasts and repeat until you get the achievement.

Note: You can use the "Last Stand" trick to increase your critical hit chance by 6.9%.

Unstoppable Force
Unstoppable Force
Deliver a Critical Hit against a Charging opponent with a Ranged Weapon.

There are very few enemies that can charge (e.g. Hookbeasts, Professor Fulmigati), so I recommend going to the Industrial Port where you can find many Hookbeasts. Just clear the area around them and wait for a charge. To get the achievement, you have to deliver a critical hit with your ranged weapon while the enemy is charging. This can take a while, because you won't be able to deliver more than 2-3 hits per charge. Keep running away from the Hookbeasts and repeat until you get the achievement.

Note: You can use the "Last Stand" trick to increase your critical hit chance by 6.9%.

Can anyone tell me if just accepting side quests is enough to make them not unaccessible?

If you explode a bomb by mistake just ALT + F4 and start the game again, apparently it resets it. I messed up at the first bomb.

Warning: I based my purchase of the thaumaturge DLC on this guide in order to get highly educated.. It's not enough if you don't buy Blue blood DLC as well.
