How To Play Music/Sounds Through Virtual Cable

In this guide i will show you how to setup an Virtual Cable and create your own Soundboard.

First Part:

[Warning!: some servers doesnt allow micspam in their servers, if you get banned its not my fault!]
To be Able to Micspam in All Servers, you'll need :
Foobar2000
Virtual Audio Cable [VAC]

After you downloaded Both of them,go to your Recording Devices And Choose Line 1 as your Standard Device
[Note: You CANT Use your Voice ingame And micspam at the same time]

Setting Foobar2000

After you downloaded Foobar2000 and launched it. This is going to show
This is where you can Customize your Foobar2000, Making its loadout way easier[Recommended]
This is my Loadout:

After That, You're Going to
File>Preferences>Playback>Output
And set the Device as Line 1

KeyBoard Shortcuts

After Setting Foobar2000, Let's go Make our Keyboard Shortcuts!
Its located at:
File>Preferences>Keyboard Shortcuts

To create a Shortcut, Click on the "Add New" Button
After that, you'll need to find the file Playback [see Screenshot]


To set the Key, look at the bottom, there will be a "Key", that when you press it, it will set the shortcut,
Ex:
[WARNING! At the bottom YOU NEED to Check the "Global Hotkey" OR IT WILL NOT WORK INGAME!]
My Shortcuts:
F5: "Play or Pause"
F6: "Previous"
F7: "Next"
F8: "Stop"

Playback

This is Important part, you need to go:
File>Preferences> And then Click at the Playback

When you get to that part, Look at the Bottom and there will be a "Reset the Above When Stopping"
Uncheck that box and check the "Stop playback after the Current Track"
That means when you're going to play your music/soundboard in game, it Stop when the music or soundboard ends.

After that, at the Left Top, Go to Playback [ITS NOT ON THE "Files" SECTION!] Go to Order, And then click at the "Repeat (track) " Option

Getting the Soundboard/Music And Creating Playlist

We are almost ending it! we just need the Sounboards or Music!
Q: But where do i get them?

If you want to make soundboards, i reccomend you go to This Website[www.soundboard.com]
BUT if you ONLY want to get music[or both], and you want to use a music that you found on Youtube, Convert the Video to MP3 on This website Click here[www.clipconverter.cc]

[WARNING!: i Highly Reccomend you to make a Backup Folder! If you loose everything its not my fault!]

And if this guide gets alot of Support, i can send my Folder full of Soundboards or Music!

Now that you got your Audios And want to create Playlist inside foobar2000, you need to go to
Files>New Playlist

Setting VAC [Virtual Audio Cable] on Steam

Now you need to set VAC on Steam, its pretty much easy, you just need to click on Steam>Settings>Voice and Choose Line 1 (Virtual audio cable) as your Input to be able to play on Gmod

[IMPORTANT!] Micspam Config

[This Config will NOT get you VAC banned!]

After you did everything, you're going to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\cfg

And then Click on AutoExec, Choose [Open with] and then choose Notepad
After that you're going to put This command

bind [PLACE KEY IN HERE] toggle
alias toggle "micspamon"
alias micspamon "alias toggle micspamoff; +voicerecord; voice_loopback 1"
alias micspamoff "alias toggle micspamon; -voicerecord; voice_loopback 0"

That will make you to hear your own micspam while playing In-game

Extra Important Details

Yep! Sounds like you Did everything!
Q : I CANT HEAR ANYTHING WHILE PLAYING THE SOUND AT FOOBAR2000
A : If thats happening to you, that means its working, BUT if you want to hear Music while not in game, Search for "Audio Repeater" at your computer files , It comes together with VAC , When you find it, choose the wave in as line 1, and the wave out as your speaker and press Start, Now you can hear everything fine []

Q : HURR HURR UR GRAMMAR IS HURRIBLE!
A : yes its horrible :( But if you find any, place it at the comments soo ill be able to fix it!

Q : I have an Double Screen and i want to make it more easier to micspam!
A : Great! if you have DOUBLE screens you can micspam 70% way Easier and Faster! and yes i have an Command soo when you are going to change playlists the game doesnt glitch on you!
Place this at Library>Right click on Garry's mod>Properties>Set Launch Options
And then place this Write -w Width h- Height -window -noborder

Note: Same to people who have 1 screen, you can alt+tab, making it easier too!

ok so i am having another problem, foobar2000, i got my pc formatted and i have version 1.5.4 now, and when i play earrape it plays weirdly like it stutters or something.
