Introduction
Even though the game does not support Steam Workshop, it is very easy to install mods. The editor is very powerfull and the commnity has provided a lot of new levels.
Installation
Always check a mod's page for specific instructions but generally, it goes like this:
put mod in game's main folder (where braid.exe is) and add the parameter "-universe mod" to your playing shortcut. By "mod" I mean the mod's name.
Bear in mind that the launcher breaks all parameters. You should either disable it permanently or when playing a mod (by adding "-no_launcher -universe mod").
Mods
Tim's Modyssee

Silverbraid[pcmappeur.free.fr] or Silverbraid

After the Epilogue[www.dropbox.com]

Stone[www.filefront.com]

Conclusion
Modding is very popular in Steam and one of the biggest reasons to game on PC. Therefore it is very common to find topics asking about it. I created one but none cared to pin it, so I made this guide. Feel free to post comments. I have played the mods but I cannot provide any feedback. If you are looking for help in a specific one, ask in author's page. That is why I posted official links and no repacks ;)

Braid mods work on Linux! To get them working, you first have to put the "universes" folder in the directory /home/$USER/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Braid, then you have to open up Braid in the steam library, select the gear icon, click "Properties" from the drop-down menu, and set your launcher options to "-no_launcher -universe *modname*" (Change *modname* to the name of the mod that you want to launch, obviously).

Hi! I just finished a braid mod called "More Now Than Ever". The puzzles are a mix of some original stuff, plus some levels from other mods --Silverbraid, Stone, After the Epilogue, and Tim's Modyssee. I hope that's okay; if any of the authors of those mods want to contact me about anything, I'm on steam.

Anyways, you can download it here: http://www.moddb.com/games/braid/addons/morenowthanever

Let me know what you think; I hope you have a great time!

P.S. This is the most comprehensive list of Braid mods I've yet seen -- these things are hard to track down! If you want to add another to the list, here's the link to someone else's nice little mod, "Escort": https://www.dropbox.com/s/o6yca4ot4m69f2r/Escort.zip

Sorry, I am not the author of all these mods. Some have a nice page, some do not even have a readme. All I can promise is that they work.

Oops I just typed it wrong. I'm using "-universe [mod]". I am not using the launcher.exe or braid.exe, I am using the steam:// link and setting it in the launch options for Braid in the Steam client.

Are you using the launcher? Which mod are you trying to install? The parameter is "universe" not "universes". The mods' folder is named "universes".

When I put the mod in the universes folder, set the -universes [mod], and start the game, the whole screen goes black like at the start of any fullscreen game, and then it just goes to the desktop and nothing opens.
