The codes don't work at all.

lapogo does NOT let you walk through walls. Nothing in this game does. It lets you walk up any wall, cliff, etc like it's flat ground. If you walk down and it's too far to land safely you will die without laimlame. It's possible in a few places to get stuck but I'm not sure there's any place where you can permenantly get stuck. You can play every level this way if you want to see the whole game and never need to use Any other codes.

All of these codes are in lowercase. Just type any code whenever you want. If I want to run through a level I start with laimlame and lapogo then hit tab to show myself where I am on the map overlay. That will help find hidden places but you still need to open your menu to check your percent.

I beat the original CD on a 486 before I could get cheats off the internet. My best playthrough was beating the game on Hard and losing only 1 life total.
Using the on screen map can help in the Coruscant computer core.

Took me a while, but after searching through duckduckgo and google on how to open up a console in the game, I finally gave up and wondered whether I was supposed to just type these codes at any time; the way you do it in games where there is no console, like Grand Theft Auto 3 or San Andreas, etc. Well what do you know, I was right! All you need to do is just enter a mission, and just type out the codes that you want; that is it! All that I wanted to do was to just skip some levels because I had re-installed the game and as a result had lost my save file. I just entered the first mission, proceeded to just literally type out "laskip", and vuala, the level skipped (I do not remember the exact mission name that I had last played, so I had to bare with skipping a handful of times)!
