Custom Icons (Now with ressource files for download !)

This guide will show u how to create a custom icon for GD !

1- Get your icon file

Go to your GD install path
Then go to "Resources"

2- Get your file

Choose your file with the the graphic quality you have

3- Open your file

Open it with Photoshop

4 - The more difficult : Edit your file

First you need to choose a icon and find the white border for this icon.

Next you need to edit this white border. The white border is the secondary color.



After you copy the white part on the icon you want to edit
You scale it to the Black borders.


You replace the white with black.


Put blank where you want the primary color to be to.


THen you erase the black part where you want the secondary color.

5 - Done !

Now you've got beautiful icons !!!!!

Bonus !

1 ) Custom Background
In the ressource folder you will find this

Like for the icon pack you will need to select your background quality
uhd = high 2048x2048 px
hd = medium 1024x1024 px
nothing = low 512x512 px

Then you look for the image you want and set the correct resolution for your background.

You replace the original file (Make a Backup just in case)
And it's done !



2 ) Custom Main song

Just find the menuLoop.mp3 file in the ressource folder.


Choose the music you want :


Rename it to "menuLoop.mp3 "
The replace the original song file (Don't foget to make a backup file ! )

3)Ressource file

@Szaal Anybody using the icon you've replaced will appear to use it to you, but since they dont have the changed files, everything appears normal to them.
