How to remove women/mens leagues

By default football manager will enable both the men's and womens league of each nation you choose to have in your save. However this causes an increase in simulation time and is redundant if you know you are only going to play as a manager of a single club or in a mens or womens league. This guide will teach you how to add/remove men or womens leagues from a save that has started or that you are starting

From a save you already started

STEP 1
After loading the save click on the settings cog







STEP 2
Click on Add/Remove leagues










STEP 3

Now navigate to the gender of the league you want to remove





Then click the trashcan icon next to the league you want to remove




Lastly make sure you confirm the changes, the league will no longer be simulated once your save has reached the given date

When starting a new save

STEP 1

In order to select which gender of leagues you want you have to start your career by accessing advanced setup career










STEP 2

After adding all the nations you want navigate to the gender of the league you want to remove by clicking these buttons on the top right




STEP 3

Using the League Selector menu select none on the nation whose men/womens league you want to remove





Lastly just finish configuring your save and click load database to start your save

@compo that is not possible. You are playing your FM24 database on the FM26. There was no women database in 24. So if you want to activate women football you have to start a new save within the FM26 database

I'm on a save in year 2040 using a modded English league that includes pretty much all of the teams in the English Football League.

I was looking forward to instating the women's leagues on my FM24 -> FM26 updated save but it states 0 womens leagues.

On a new game save I can get the women's leagues on, but not on my old save game.

Part gutted about this in someway, but then... maybe it will get sorted with the official release on November 5th.
