100% achievements

A guide to getting 100% achievements for the game Day of the Dino

Overview

This is my first time attempting to make a guide for a game on steam.
I hope it helps, and If more clarification is needed please let me know.

Welcome

the first and easiest achievement "Welcome" will pop after starting the game the first time.

Dino Egg?

after starting the game head into the building with the american flag to collect the pickaxe.
after collecting the pick axe you must destroy the rock mound blocking the opening in the gate.
keep moving forward until you come across the knocked down fence, once you get past this fence you will want to stay on the left wall and keep moving forward.
if you keep moving forward along this wall you will find a building behind it is a cave with the egg inside.
at the end of the cave will be some eggs in cages, walk up to the non-broken one to obtain both the egg and the achievement.

Slippery Meat

for the "Slippery Meat" achievement just allow the Dino to catch and kill you at any point.

Tiny Tank

This time instead of sticking to the left wall after going over the fallen fence you will follow the train tracks.
Keep following the tracks until you come to a split, you want to follow the left track.
after a bit of walking you will reach a red glowing flare.once you reach this point turn to the right and you will see a gap in the mountains, head towards it.
after passing some military vehicles you will find the tiny tank on top of a crate next to a barricade.
walk up to the Tiny Tank and collect your achievement.

Safe For Now

After you find the satellite and military vehicles you will be tasked with finding a laptop.
To find the laptop you must go back the way you came and follow the tracks to the other path.
Following the tracks the laptop can be found sitting on a green crate next to another military vehicle.
Walk up to the Laptop to pick it up, then head back to the satellite and military vehicles.
You want to walk up to the green electronic control box next to the satellite and place the laptop on it.
After placing the laptop down you will need to head back to the tracks with the red glowing flare.
Once you reach the cart next to the flare just loop around the cart and avoid the Dinosaur until the helicopter comes and rescues you.
(when the helicopter arrives you must be near the red flare to escape)
Once you are saved an end of game scene will play and the achievement will pop.

Where Am I?

For the "Where Am I?" achievement you must find the secret portal and enter it.
To find the hidden portal you must follow the split tracks to right again.
after following the right path and approaching the military vehicle you will most likely see the Dinosaur coming towards you, simply go around the other side of the military vehicle to avoid it.
Keep following the tracks and eventually you will be inside a cave, continue following the tracks and you will find the secret portal.
(once you enter the portal a secret end game scene will play and the achievement will pop)
