A complete achievement and collectible guide for Clid the Snail, covering all levels in chronological order

Introduction

This guide covers all achievements and collectibles in chronological order, so you can follow along as you play without the risk of missing anything important. The guide is split into five sections (each covering a single level of the game). That way, you’ll always know what to watch out for in each area as you push towards 100% completion.

⚠️ Before You Play

• Clid the Snail has no chapter select and will require a brand-new playthrough for any missed achievements.
  
• Collecting Ralar's sap and dying before reaching a checkpoint will permanently remove the resource from the inventory (with no way to obtain it again) and will require another playthrough. Keep in mind that there is one extra Ralar’s sap hidden in the game, so even if you lose one, you still have a chance to purchase all shells and earn "Oh, shell!".

Slug Swamp

Lower Marad River

BANG! The war is here.
Blow a slug to pieces for the first time.
Missable

The earliest opportunity to unlock this is in Lower Marad River. As you travel through the area, you’ll come across a camp just south of two flies roasting over a fire. This achievement can also be earned in several other areas, so don’t worry if you miss it here.

Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

The first Ralar seed is located west of the first locked door you will encounter. Each level contains 4 Ralar seeds, for a total of 20 across the entire game. Collecting all 4 in a level will permanently increase Clid’s maximum health.



Back to the hole
Finish off the colossal worm in the "Slug Swamp".
Story-related, cannot be missed

Earned after defeating the colossal worm guarding the key to the locked door.

Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

After defeating the colossal worm and unlocking the door, head left and fight off the flies blocking your path. Continue through the tunnels until you reach the giant statue, where you’ll face another group of enemies. The second Ralar seed can be found directly in front of the statue.



I do
Borrow the jewel from the ring in the "Slug Swamp".
Missable

After getting past the spinning laser beam section, you will come across a ring in an open box. Simply interact with the ring to unlock the achievement.

Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Continue past the next group of enemies, then head south and drop down next to the mushrooms. From there, follow the path west and climb the stairs. The third Ralar seed is located at the top of the stairs.

Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Drop down from the platform at the top of the stairs and defeat the next group of enemies. Then circle around the platform and make your way down into the laser maze. The fourth Ralar seed can be found at the very end of the maze.



What are you doing in my swamp?!
Complete the level "Slug Swamp".
Story-related, cannot be missed

Near the end of the level, you will encounter Hermes, the trader. Pass through the door next to him to unlock the achievement.

Grasshopper Citadel

So… there's no bamboo juice?
Finish off Ska in the grasshopper citadel.
Story-related, cannot be missed

Immediately after passing the door by Hermes and entering Grasshopper Citadel, you will face Ska – the game’s first boss fight. Defeating Ska will unlock the achievement.

Alastor's Headquarters

Oh, shell! (1/4)
Buy all the shells from Atxaka's store.
Missable

Talk to Atxaka before heading out to receive the Iss Geir shell.

Armed to the radula (1/3)
Get all the weapons in Clid's arsenal.
Missable

Talk to Morti before heading out to receive Rankine and Mines.

Silver Mountains

Roots of the Silver Mountain

In bulk (5/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

To reach the fifth Ralar seed, ascend the lifts and continue through the narrow passage. Go up the stairs and follow the wall, then head east when you reach the next checkpoint.

Rabbit Citadel

Pull the lever, Lu'Faz
Defend the rabbit citadel from siege.
Story related, cannot be missed

Shortly after arriving at Rabbit Citadel, you will need to defend it from waves of slugs and moles. Successfully fending off these enemy hordes will unlock the achievement.

Lu'Nel Cliffs

In bulk (6/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

After reaching Lu'Nel Cliffs, take the path on the right, cross the bridge, and head inside. There you will find the sixth Ralar seed.



Continue through the level until you encounter a trader sitting next to a lift and a locked door. Head east, disable the laser, and interact with the tree to collect Ralar’s sap, which is needed to purchase new shells. Be careful, though. If you die before reaching the next checkpoint, you will lose Ralar’s sap.

Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Continue through the level, pick up the SD Card, and make your way to the top level. At the next checkpoint, head north, melt the ice using Rankine, and descend using the lift. The seventh Ralar seed is located next to the lift.

Silver Abysses

In bulk (8/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Head east until you reach the stairs, then continue south to a small house perched atop the cliff. From there, move southeast and enter the cave. Inside, you will find the eighth Ralar seed.



I'm not going to clean up this mess
Finish off the lair at the end of the "Silver Mountains".
Story related, cannot be missed

Earned by defeating Lair – the game’s second boss.

Complete the level "Silver Mountains".
Story related, cannot be missed

Earned by reaching the end of Silver Mountains level.

Alastor's Headquarters

Oh, shell! (2/4)
Buy all the shells from Atxaka's store.
Missable

Talk to Atxaka before heading out and purchase a new shell using Ralar's sap.

Armed to the radula (2/3)
Get all the weapons in Clid's arsenal.
Missable

Talk to Morti before heading out to receive Taurus.

Good boy
Pet the ToMM-I turret.
Missable

Talk to Morti before heading out and purchase ToMM-I. Head to the shooting range in your room, deploy ToMM-I, and interact with it.

Shashan Desert

Beetle Camp

May the Giants be with you (1/2)
Find Torkol's brother in the crypt of the "Shashan Desert".
Missable

Head north and speak with Torkol before going up the stairs. He will give you a small “side quest” to locate his missing brother (identified by his blue scarf). This step may be optional, but it’s recommended to activate the dialogue now to avoid unnecessary backtracking.

Cemetary

In bulk (9/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Head down the stairs and continue south until you encounter the second group of flies. You will need to waddle through the mud (using sprint) and recharge your stamina whenever you reach solid ground. The ninth Ralar seed will be located on a ledge next to the stairs.

Sun Wasteland

In bulk (10/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Backtrack to the crypt entrance and head enter Sun Wasteland. Fight off the group of enemies, then push the baseball further into the area. Continue east, and you’ll come across the tenth Ralar seed.



Ogres are like onions
Finish off the ogre slug in the coliseum of the "Shashan Desert".
Story-related, cannot be missed

Earned after defeating the ogre in Sun Wasteland.

Shashan Resting Point

In bulk (11/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Progress through the ruins until you come across rubble blocking your path. Use a grenade to destroy the blockade, and you will find the eleventh Ralar seed just beyond it.

The Giants' Crypt

In bulk (12/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Continue east until you reach a crossroads, then turn north. You will come across a giant skeleton. The twelfth Ralar seed is located inside its skull.



May the Giants be with you (2/2)
Find Torkol's brother in the crypt of the "Shashan Desert".
Missable

Return to the crossroads and this time head south. You will find a body wearing a blue scarf – Torkol’s missing brother. Interact with the body to unlock the achievement



From the body with the blue scarf, head west and you will come across a tree containing Ralar’s sap. Interact with it to collect the resource, but remember – you’ll lose it if you die before reaching the next checkpoint.

Where's the magic lamp?
Complete the level "Shashan Desert".
Story-related, cannot be missed

Earned after defeating the second Lair.

Alastor's Headquarters

Better safe than sorry
Buy all the medkit upgrades in Atxaka's store.
Missable

To unlock this achievement, visit Atxaka and purchase all Medkit upgrades under the Potions tab. You will need to buy 3x Extra Space (950 each) and 3x Upgrade (1100 each), for a total cost of 6150.

If you don’t have enough currency to buy all Medkit upgrades and all weapons, quit to the main menu and reload the last checkpoint.

Get all the weapons in Clid's arsenal.
Missable

Talk to Morti before heading out to receive Shocker AA. Purchase all remaining weapons under the Weapons tab. You will need to buy the Pulssar (1200), SMG 42-0k (1500), and Puke-HCL (1800), for a total cost of 4500.

If you don’t have enough currency to buy all Medkit upgrades and all weapons, quit to the main menu and reload the last checkpoint.

Oh, shell! (3/4)
Buy all the shells from Atxaka's store.
Missable

Talk to Atxaka before heading out and purchase a new shell using Ralar's sap. While there, purchase Ralar Frui (2500) as this item might be required to earn the “In Bulk” achievement.

Broken Sea Islands

Fish Citadel

In bulk (13/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

After meeting KR-01, the leader of Fish Citadel, head left and follow the beach until you reach the stairs. Take the underpass on the right and collect the thirteenth Ralar seed.

Invaded Factory

In bulk (14/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Head north and power up the next two batteries. Before dropping down towards the exit, circle around the building on the right and enter it. Inside, you will find the fourteenth Ralar seed.



In bulk (15/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Follow the second line and proceed through the hole on the bottom level. Once inside, clear out the flies blocking your path, and you will find the fifteenth Ralar seed.



Before crossing the bridge to the next Lair, head south and enter Pirate Island.

Pirate Island

In bulk (16/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Head east until you reach the beach, then descend the stairs and continue moving east. At the edge of the map, you will find the sixteenth Ralar seed.



Backtrack upstairs and take the next set of stairs located by the checkpoint. Head left, ascend another set of stairs, and you will find Ralar’s sap waiting to be collected. Remember, if you die before reaching the next checkpoint, you will lose the collected Ralar’s sap.

Take what you can, give nothing back.
Complete the level "Broken Sea Islands".

Earned for destroying the Lair in Broken Sea Islands.

Alastor's Headquarters

Oh, shell! (4/4)
Buy all the shells from Atxaka's store.
Missable

Talk to Atxaka before heading out and purchase the final shell using Ralar's sap.

Valley of Marad

In bulk (17/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

After unlocking the gate, head south and defeat the group of flies blocking your path. Continue toward the edge of the cliff, where you will find the seventeenth Ralar seed.



In bulk (18/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

Proceed through the gate and battle the colossal worms along with the surrounding mobs. After clearing the area, head to the stairs, where the eighteenth Ralar seed is located.

Depths of the Valley

In bulk (19/20)
Find all the Ralar seeds and top up your health.
Missable, collectible

After defeating the two shielded slugs near the small bridge, ascend the stairs and cross the bridge. On the other side, you will find the penultimate Ralar seed.



Return to the tree on the other side of the bridge and interact with it to collect Ralar’s sap, if you still need to complete the “Oh, Shell!” achievement. Remember, if you die before reaching the next checkpoint, you will lose any collected Ralar's sap.

Missable, collectible

Defeat the ogre guarding the area, then head across the waterfall. On the other side, you will find the final Ralar seed.



Knight of the Vale
Complete the level "Valley of Marad".
Story-related, cannot be missed

Earned after you pass through the gate following the ogre fight.

For lack of bug spray...
Find the origin of the plague in the "Valley of Marad" and finish it off.
Story-related, cannot be missed

Earned after defeating the spider (and the demon slug).

Alastor's Headquarters

This is your last opportunity to purchase shells, upgrades, and weapons. After talking to everyone at the party and going to bed, the vendors will become available one final time, so make sure to acquire anything you still need before moving forward.
