Finding Secret Level in Level 10

Have you ever been told, heard, or read that there are secret levels in Descent, making you question "Secret levels? What "secret levels", and how on earth can I find them?"? Well, feed these answer(s) to your question(s) by reading this guide!

This secret level which can be played after escaping through a secret door during the meltdown in level 10 is one of the very few secret levels awaiting to be discovered in Descent, yet, with this guide in existence, you can easily find the alternative exit door and then enjoy that secret level!

Introduction...

Finding the secret exit door is not that hard. Actually, it only takes a few steps in order to find it. Hopefully, that is a relief for you all. :)

Finding the Alternative Door...

In this view of the map shown to your left, the blue lines instruct how to get to the secret door in that level. The pink square at the top represents the player's spawnpoint. However, if the map gets too confusing, here is an alternative way of reaching the exit door:

To get to the secret exit door, first, you must open an easily accessible door that is just in front of you at the start of the level. Afterwards, you must penetrate the large area, look down, and find and fly down through the entrance where all of the magma flows out.

Then, keep going straight (and down moments before you have encountered a wall in front of you) until you reach another large area (where the non-secret exit door can be found in the center of the room by looking upwards). Go right, and you will find a red door. There should be a secret wall on the left side (while being in a downside-up position) which can be opened by bumping into it. The door will appear just in front of you, and you are all set for the secret level!

Oh, and one more thing: just as it is for non-secret exit doors, the only way to open secret doors is by first blowing up the reactor cores.

Oh, by the way, if you ever worry about finding the three hostages, worry no more; it can just be easily found on your way to the reactor core.
