Crazy Taxi Cheats

Cheats for Crazy Taxi. These tricks have been collected from around the Internet and brought here so the whole Steam community can access them more easily.

Introduction

This is a list of the known cheats for the PC version of the game. While there are not many, the few we have put a new twist on the game.

This port is based on the 360 version, so the old school PC cheats do not appear to work for me, but others have said they do. I have decided to include them anyway. When you see the PC keyboard cheats, give them a try and please let me know if you can get them working. The Camera cheat was one of the better ones on the original version.

How to get the rickshaw bike + extra cars for each character

Cars and Bike

At the character selection screen, quickly press LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER, LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER. Then, select a character to drive a bike instead of a taxi. Alternatively, complete all sixteen Crazy Box levels to unlock the Special Taxi for each character, which is selectable in crazy box, arcade, or original modes. To select the bike in crazy box mode, scroll to the right of Gus at the character selection screen. To select the bike in arcade or original mode, press Up at the character selection screen.

No arrows

This code allows you to play without arrow markers. To do the trick press and hold RIGHT TRIGGER + START before the driver select screen appears. If you did it correctly, the message "No Arrows" will appear. This will switch off the directional arrows.

Play with unmarked destinations

Want to switch off the green destination markers that appear around your targets? Just press and hold LEFT TRIGGER + START before the driver select screen comes up. If you did it correctly, the message "No Destination Mark" will appear.

Play in expert mode

Expert mode is a combination of the cheats to play without direction arrows and play unmarked destination. To activate, keep pressing "Up + Down + ENTER" on the loading screen before the character selection. If you did it successfully "EXPERT" will appear in the lower left corner of the screen.

Change the cameras

We can change the cameras during the game. To do this, we have to press "Shift + Alt" with one of the following keys:

F5: Normal Camera.












F6: Static Camera. This camera is static and will focus on and follow the car. It will continue to follow untill you move away a minimum distance and the camera will appear in a new location.













F7: Camera Interior.

See a speedometer while playing

To see a speedometer while playing you have to press "Shift + Alt + F8". It will appear in the lower right corner, next to the gears.

Another Day Mode

Press RIGHT TRIGGER at the driver select screen, then press and hold RIGHT TRIGGER again while you select your crazy cabbie of choice. You will now see the words "Another Day" appear on screen, followed by a car horn. This will change the game slightly with new fare locations and altered starting positions.

Under Water Passenger

There is a way in the game to pick up a snorkeling fare under the water. Here's the directions:
1. Drive striaght and pick up the first orange person right in front of you.
2. After you get to her destination, to the left by the wall there is a yellow person, she will want to go somewhere by the beach.
3. After you get her to her destination, you will be right next to the beach and you will see the green marker for someone under the water, drive right in and pick her up!!!

Crazy Taxi is great but I do think a remake would ruin the ascetic, keep it old <3

"Another day" on the PC port - the right trigger in the default keymap is E.

Crazy Taxy needs a Crazy remake like Capcom did with Biohazard II or a All new Crazy Taxi!!
