Introduction
Hi, i am Soulhunter (in Palia my Character is called: Tiaiell Nimue Ivy) haha!

I created this guide since i am addicted to gaining achievements and 'cause i didn't find any English Guides that fulfilled what i needed :)

Oh and, so far you do not require any DLC or pay-to-win items in order to complete Achievements (June 2025)

I welcome any sort of feedback, so feel free to comment <3

(FYI, there might be unmarked spoilers in this guide)

Useful info <3
Generally Useful
  1. Joining the Palia Discord
I suggest joining it, since there are (experienced) players who put up Bug Catching/ Cooking Party or Ore Mining events. Plus, it is a very friendly and helpful community:
    https://discord.com/invite/playpalia

  2. Online Party Finder
Again, very useful if you need people to do certain task, get more XP or just help with doing something:
    https://paliaparty.app/

  3. Amazing Location Map
    https://paliamaps.com/

  4. How much time to 100%????
Depending on your dedication and luck at least 200 hours but i'd say 300-400 hrs are more realstic if you look at average playtimes (on Xbox it took me around 450 hours)

Story Achievements
Main Storyline

First up, there isn't really a tipical Story Achievement as you know it in other games. Basically, there are Quests that progress the overall Story but aren't specifically as such. The Achievements are more like Milestone Stuff. You'll get what i mean through playing the story :)
FYI: Some Side Quests are connected to the Main Story and can be done parallel.

HOA-mazing
You built a house!
Just play the Main Quest. This is the first Quest called "Welcome to Palia".
Glidin' High
You built your glider!
This is the Main Quest called "Like a Bird". Just do it and you will automatically get it. Usefull tip: I had to equip the Glider from my Inventory, so before using it see in you inventory if you have it equiped or if it is still in your Menu-Bar
Puzzling when Wet
You've solved the Temple of the Waves!
When you have managed to climb or glide onto the big platform there is a fish puzzle that needs assembling. Just solve it and follow the rest of the Main Quest called "Vault of the Waves" :)
Fiery Flummox
You've solved the Temple of the Flames!
This is the Main Quest "A Catalyzing Caper" First, find your way to the not-locked door, do the mazes, then open the locked door and do the muriel. Then, finish the Quest Objective and the Achievements is yours:)
Bewildered in the Wind
You've solved the Temple of the Gales!
Just follow the whole Questline. The final Quest is called "Eye of the Storm" and it is the third temple you need to unlock. One important hint from me so you save time: Try and collect at least 10 Blue Eggs, you will need them If you need a Walk-trough just search for one on YouTube cause it's a long one, but try and do it yourself, it is more fun that way :)
Rooting for Meaning
You've solved the Temple of the Roots!
This is the last Temple you explore. The Main Quest is called "Secret Depths". As usual go through all the Quests until you reach this one and voilà that's the Main Story

Side Quest - Wind Temple

Scholar of the Gales
The Side Quest for this is called "Proof of Magic" and unlocks once you enter the Air Temple and Progress the Main Story far enough. For this you have to collect evidence for both their thesis. Here is a great guide for the locations of those: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b1d-YKKAxk

Thief of the Gales
The Quest is called "Special Donations" and is given by Zeki in the Air Temple (Temple of Gales or whatever haha) as well. Here is a good Guide for the Locations as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mIL2LqMk9g&t=1s

Side Quest - Fire Temple

Scholar of the Waves
You've read every lost relic in the Temple of the Waves!
There is no quest for this, just follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJTNToVPpxk

The Tutorial is the best one i found, though it misses to show yo that red Diary book. Just make sure to read this as well :)
----------------------------------------
Collection Achievements
First up,

- There is a Accomplishments Tab in your character overview (i think if you press u on PC it comes up), there you can see all of your collected items. For example:

As you can see, it shows me the missing Fish and those who i already caught once. So if you are ever unsure of what you are still missing, then look it up and google a list of those items up under e.g.: https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Bugs and see where and how :)

- Obtaining a star quality bug/fish or recipe automatically unlocks the non-star item. So, try to obtain the star quality one to save time :)
Bug Catching
  1. Honey Lures
Since there are guides out there claiming that "Honey Lures" don't help, that's a lie!. If you are struggling with finding certain bugs use a Honey Lure and even ask people around you to join up in a party cause you get more chances to hit every bug. Though, (in my experience) it doesn't work that well with the epic bugs.
Additionally, those lures need to be placed in the spots where the bugs are even possible to spawn, after that you just need fine tune the exact spot, since certain bugs spawn in certain radius.
  2. Buzzy Jar's
Very useful, since they mark rare AND epic bugs for you. i suggest using them especially when hunting for the epic bugs :)
  3. Server Hopping
If you can't find the bugs you can try server hopping by either exiting the game or leaving & re-entering the map.

My First Rare Bug
You caught your first rare bug!
To be honest, you get this Achievement by playing the game. Just try and catch every bug you see. If you still want to make sure you get it, the "Rare Bugs" are marked in a blue colour below.

My First Epic Bug
You caught your first epic bug!
Kilima and Bahari Bug Collector
You caught every type of bug in Kilima and Bahari

Master Kilima and Bahari Bug Collector
You caught every type of bug at star quality in Kilima and Bahari!
It is the same bug the only difference is that the have GLOWING-SPARKLING dust around them marking them as star quality
Foraging
Icon
Name
Description
Kilima and Bahari Forage Collector
You gathered all types of forage in Kilima and Bahari!

So, most of them are very common (they spawn a lot) items. Though, i struggled with "Heartdrop Lilly" and "Dari Cloves" and i got the achievement without picking them up. Instead, i got them either through doing Discovery or Villager-Friendship Quests or bought them for forage medals after reaching lvl 10 from Ashura, since he sells them.
So don't worry and waste your time searching actively for them, just buy them at some point :)
Sill, i recommend picking up every forage item of the ground you see
Fishing
Here is a location-sorted list of fish with all important infos: https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Biomes

Icon

My First Waterlogged Chest
You caught your first waterlogged chest!
Honestly, just go fishing until you get a chest. I got it way before getting the Epic Fish Achievement.
My First Rare Fish
You caught your first rare fish!
My tip: Just go fishing and you will definitely catch a fish categorised as rare before completing all other achievements haha
My First Epic Fish
You caught your first epic fish!
Honestly, same as the one before. Just fish a lot (for this improve your level, fishing rod or add worms.
Kilima and Bahari Fish Collector
You caught all types of fish in Kilima and Bahari!
Here is a list of all fish: https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Kilima_and_Bahari_Fish_Collector
Master Kilima and Bahari Fish Collector
You caught all types of fish at star quality in Kilima and Bahari!
Here is a list of all fish: https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Master_Kilima_and_Bahari_Fish_Collector
Hunting
  1. Hunter Achievement
So, all three creatures need to be killed once for this one. Just look at the pictures, find them on the map and kill all types. Quite easy to get haha!
  2. Gold-star Antler/ Mane/ Tail Achievement
That is just a big grind and a lot of luck to be honest. Try do use the suggestions i give at the corresponding Achievement and then kill as many as you have to, since the drop rates are very low ;)
  3. Party Up!!!
Honestly, for the gold-star animals ask around discord/in game server and party up. It will be so much more easy to kill the animals in a sort of "mass production of killing"
  4. Hunter's Horn
It is usefull to see any rare (all "magic blue-fured" animals). It will be usefull when locating Azure Chapaa or Proudhorned Sernuk since they spawn randomly in the designated areas. Though it helps to locate any of those 3 really.

Sernuk
Icon
Name
Description
Sernuk Hunter
You've hunted all types of Sernuk
1. Sernuk (Bahari & Kilima)
2. Elder Sernuk (Bahari Bay)
3. Proudhorned Sernuk (Bahari & Elderwood)
Antlers In A Haystack
You've looted your first Star Quality Proudhorned Sernuk Antlers!
The gold-star "Proudhorned Sernuk Antlers" have a low chance of dropping from killing a "Proudhorned Sernuk". Plus, the proudhorned Sernuks only spawn at night, so killing the other Sernuks at evening increases the spawn chances of those at night. I suggest using "Dispel Arrows" and finding an hunting party to make it easier.

Chapaa

Icon
Name
Description
Chapaa Hunter
You've hunted all types of Chapaa!
1. Spotted Chapaa (Kilima & Bahari)
2. Striped Chapaa (Bahari)
3. Azure Chapaa (Location below)
A Tail of Luck
You've looted your first Star Quality Azure Chapaa Tail!
The gold-star "Azure Chapaa Tail" has a low chance of dropping from killing a "Azure Chapaa". This Chapaa ONLY spawns in the southeastern area in Bahri Bay at any time. It spawns near firlds and forests. I suggest using Dispel Arrows and the Hunter's Horn to track them down easily. Honestly the easiest one to hunt from all magical creatures.

Muujin

Icon
Name
Description
Muujin Hunter
You've hunted all types of Muujin!
1. Muujin (Bahari)
2. Banded Muujin (Bahari & Elderwood)
3. Bluebristle Muujin (Info below)
Mane of the Hour
You've looted your first Star Quality Bluebristle Muujin Mane!
The "Bluebristle Muujin Mane" has a low chance of dropping when killing a "Bluebristle Muujin". This Muujin ONLY spawns under following conditions:
a) in Bahari: A normal Muujin needs to run up a "Flow Tree". Cut it down and a Bluebrtistle Muujin will spawn from it.
b) in Elderwood: they spawn near the area to the entrance to Bahari Bay. Either on the ground or in a tree. Just chop doiwn trees and walk around the entrance area and you will find plenty.
Mining
Tipps for Mining Palium (2025): Go to Elderwood, and run around the open areas (NOT in caves) and you will find plenty of medium/small sized ones without the ore compass :)

Every Mineral is Mine
You've acquired every type of mineral and bar in Kilima and Bahari!
There are a total of 15 bars and minerals. If you are unsure on which you miss, just go into the Accomplishment called "Every Mineral is Mine" Plus, you will definitly obtain all those if you just play the game :)
All the Stars in the Ground
You've acquired every Starstone! You aquire them by mining specific nodes:
Cooking
My personal suggestion: Instantly cook all meals on Star Quality if you can, since cooking star also unlocks the non-star one's and they give slightly more XP

For Sashimi: Fish at River directly north of Proudhorn Pass

Icon
Name
Description
Waaaay Under the Table
You bought something from the Grimalkin Underground!
Important: Only items bought from the register at the front desk when you enter the Underground via the General Store count towards this (Buying a recipe does NOT count).
What Brings us Together
You acquired a villagers pin!
Explanation:To get a NPCs pin you have to reach Romance Level 3. Before you even start a romance you need to raise the Friendship Level to Level 3 (You raise the Friendship thing by giving Daily Requests each day or via certain Quests). After that you need to gift them either a "Box of Chocolate" or a "Heartdrop Lily" and the Romance progress unlocks. After that give normal gifts they like. Very Important, you can only gift ONE gift per IN REAL LIFE DAY, so start doing this early on to safe some time

(Romancable Characters are: Einar, Hassian, Hodari, Jel, Jina, Kenyatta, Nai'o, Reth, Subira, Tamala, Tish)
Exceptions: For Subira you need to be Friendship 4 and for Hodari at level 2 romance you need to also become level 4 friends with Najuma.
Kilima Caches
Found 12 of the hidden treasure chests in Kilima Village.
As it indicates, after collecting Chest #12 in the video the Achievement will unlock
Here is a really good Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrS4tW1Uqxs
Plundering the Bay
Found 30 of the hidden treasure chests in Bahari Bay
Here is a great Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqBRa_wgwIk
For Chest #8, there is a bug. I got the chest by using the water catapult in that mining-hole to boost me up on the big rock, then i just glided over to the chest.

Pebbled Plunder
Found all of Einar's lost pebbles.
Explanations: Einar is the robot that hangs out at the Fishing docks most of the times. You need to gift Einar ten shiny pebbles. Important, they must be unique ones, so different ones each time
Here is a list with locations:
Yellow Shiny Pebble
Green Shiny Pebble
Blue Shiny Pebble
It is located in the Water Temple in Phoenix Falls
Orange Shiny Pebble
Purple Shiny Pebble
Red Shiny Pebble
It has a low chance to drop when mining Clay Nodes from Fisherman's Lagoon to Gillyfin Cove in Kilima Village
Smooth Shiny Pebble
It also has a low chance of appearing when using "Unopened Oysters"
According to various people online (their speculations/own statistics) the chance of this to drop by opening up an oyster is between 0.01 - 0.33%. dont give up :)
Lumpy Shiny Pebble
It is a low drop rate loot when mining rock/stone Nodes
Large Shiny Pebble
It is randomly dropped by a Node when Mining any sort of Node
Small Shiny Pebble
It drops with a higher chance from mining rock Nodes

Soulhunter  [author] Jul 1 @ 2:58am
It really depends on so many factors like: dedication, how many "unnecessary" activities you do in game and how much luck you have with item drops. But i'd say it's at least 150 hours but probably more for almost anyone. Hope this helps :GhostFlowerHappy:
VK1ng Jun 23 @ 12:05pm
How long does it take to 100% it?
