Gray Zone Warfare
This guide is powered by MapGenie: Your tactical advantage in Gray Zone Warfare. Whether you’re stalking through the dense jungles of Lamang, hunting down high-value targets, or scouring villages for hidden caches, MapGenie gives you the edge with fully interactive maps tailored for operators like you.

From mission objectives and vendor locations to hidden loot stashes and hostile zones, MapGenie’s interactive tools feel like having an intel officer on standby except it’s 100% legit and won’t get you kicked from your PMC. Explore the map here: https://mapgenie.io/gray-zone-warfare and plan your next raid like a pro.

Heads-up, Operator:
Our team is actively updating the map using extracted game files and hands-on recon. As new zones, missions, and points of interest roll out, we’ll push updates regularly. Two squads are combing through every inch of Lamang to keep things accurate and up-to-date. Watch the guide comments for intel on the latest map revisions.

Want to join the MapGenie team?
If you're the type of operator who gets a thrill from sweeping every inch of the AO, pinpointing hidden stashes, tracking down rare weapons, or mapping out every arms cache in the jungle, then you're exactly who we need on the squad. Forget trying to be a streamer with a tactical vest and zero charisma you can get paid to play, scout, and help the community gear up smarter.

By joining, you’re not just gaining XP you’re making your mark in the Zone. Think of it like doing recon for your whole faction, minus the gunfire (most of the time). And while there’s no Emperor here to impress, command always notices when someone pulls their weight.

If you're locked in and ready to start mapping like your life depends on it, send me a friend request on Steam and leave a quick comment on my profile telling me why you're the right pick for this mission. I’m looking for two solid teammates who live to clear every building and loot every last crate.

Time to put boots on the ground.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is MapGenie?
A: MapGenie is an online platform that creates high-quality interactive maps for video games. Whether you're hunting collectibles, tracking quests, or just trying to figure out where that one annoying key is hidden, MapGenie has you covered. Their maps let you filter by items, enemies, locations, and more making it easy to 100% your favorite games without endlessly backtracking.

MapGenie currently supports over 100 different titles, from massive open-world RPGs to intense survival games. Each map is crafted with precision, often with input from players and contributors who dig deep into the game’s world. It’s a must-have tool for gamers who want to explore every inch of a game without missing a thing.

Can’t anyone just make a Steam guide using MapGenie? And why don’t all games have their maps included in the guides?

A: Yes, technically anyone can throw together a Steam guide and link to MapGenie, slap their name on it, and call it a day. Steam allows users to contribute content freely, so you’ll see plenty of guides out there with mixed levels of effort, accuracy, and involvement.

But this guide isn’t one of those. I only post Steam guides for the games that my team has personally covered meaning we’ve played the game, explored every nook and cranny, and verified the info ourselves. If a game’s map isn’t included here, it’s because we haven’t worked on that title (yet). We care more about quality and trust than just throwing links at a page.

Plus, by maintaining our own official guides here, it gives us a direct way to update fans who are following the Steam guide whenever the map gets new content, corrections, or features. So if something changes, you’ll know right away no guesswork, no waiting around.

How many interactive maps has your team covered so far?

A: Here’s what we’ve got in the pipeline so far:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 – Fully covered with a detailed, verified interactive map.
Sons of the Forest – Fully covered with a detailed, verified interactive map.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – Fully covered with a detailed, verified interactive map.

Technical Issues

Help! The maps appear broken or don't load.
If you visit a map and you only see a black space instead of a map, then it's likely that you just need to enable hardware acceleration or WebGL in your browser (normally these are enabled by default but some browser extensions may change your settings).

Visit https://get.webgl.org to check if WebGL is working in your browser.

I re-opened the map and all my progress is gone
It's possible that your browser is showing you an older cached version of the page (this happens when you close an re-open your whole browser - it doesn't reload your open pages).

Refresh the page and you should see all your progress!
