Fantasy Life i - Boss Gathering Spots Guide

Cheatsheet with lists of locations for all Boss Level Gathering Spots + Bosses in Mysteria.

Overview

Cheatsheet/guide I made because I kept forgetting all the locations. Credit is me :)

Notes:

• Monsters and Ginomorsia info is currently WIP!
  
• Boss Crops have a chance to spawn from any seeds you plant, so that's just up to RNG on your base camp farms.
  
• All mats have a chance to be sold at the traveling Don merchants in Ginormosia. It's up to luck which ones they decide to stock.
  
• Magic ore and Dragontree wings can be found from treasure chests in the Groves as well.
  
• Grove only bosses can also spawn in Ginormosia after achieving area rank 5. I am still working on compiling this info.

Trees

Mysteria

• Fire: Capital of Mysteria, top left of map before the Quetzal Nest
  
• Wind: Faraway Island - Lulab Forest 2 (enter from Leafe Village), top northeast point
  
• Recluse Cherry: Faraway Island - Lulab Forest 2 (enter from Leafe Village), slightly left from middle pathway
  
• Water: Tropica Isles, middle of the map
  
• Earth: Swolean Island, go through Cave of Trials ground floor and exit the very top exit to get there
  
• Giant's Tree: Depths - B3, right side on the 2nd "row" down (need 500 woodcutting to unlock)
  
• Luminous Darkwood Tree: Lulab Forest (Leafe entrance), behind the sealed area (requires 30 Dark Fire)
  
• Luminous Darkwood Tree: Warren Willow Hollow B1, behind the sealed area (requires 50 Dark Fire)

Treasure Grove

• Dragonhorn Tree: Treasure Grove Boss only. Drops Dragontree Wing and Horn.

Ginormosia Spawns

• Legendary God Tree: Pettlewing Woods (Area Rank 3).

Notes

• Luminous Darkwood Trees will drop Darktree Sap and can only be found in the Treasure Grove dungeons or the Sealed Areas

Mining

Mysteria

• Fire: Capital of Mysteria - Banaan Cave
  
• Wind: Faraway Island - Spirit Road, on the left side in the middleish
  
• Water: Tropica Isles - Profunda Cave, all the way at the north end of the cave
  
• Earth: Swolean Island - Cave of Trials B2, left side room when you're at the "center" of the caves
  
• Dragon's Claw: (Present) Depths - B3, directly left of Entrance
  
• Giant Ancient Fossil: (Present) Depths - B3, rightmost on the 4th "row" down on the map (requires 600 mining to unlock)
  
• Graphite Deposit: (Present) Depths - B3, middle of row 5 on the map (requires 500 /farming/ and 600 mining to unlock)
  
• Luminous Magic Ore Deposit: Swolean Island - Cave of Trials B1, behind the sealed area at the very end (requires 30 Dark Fire)
  
• Luminous Magic Ore Deposit: Warren Willow Hollow B1, behind the sealed area (requires 50 Dark Fire)

Treasure Grove

• Heart of Darkness: Treasure Grove Boss only. Drops Sultan Stone, Sultan Heart.

• Lv 25 Forest Lordfish: Faraway Island - Lulab Forest 1 (enter from Idylla Village or Terrasa Farm), all the way on the bottom right
  
• Lv 25 Cherry Lordfish: Faraway Island - Lulab Forest 2 (enter from Leafe Village), all the way on bottom right where the entrance to Spirit Road is
  
• Lv 30 Swordfish: Tropica Isles, right under Profunda Cave entrance
  
• Lv 30 Bass of Darkness: Tropica Isles, left side of map above Yohoho Cavern entrance

• Darkfish: Treasure Grove only, spawns as "Rare Fish Shadow" in dungeon.
  
• Evil Carp: Treasure Grove only, spawns as "Small Fish Shadow" in dungeon.
  
• Electric Eel: Treasure Grove only, spawns as "Big Fish Shadow" in dungeon.
  
• Hot Spring Bream: Treasure Grove only, spawns as "Big Fish Shadow" in dungeon.
  
• Godfish: Treasure Grove Boss only. Drops Godfish Moss.
  
• Poseidon's Swordfish: Treasure Grove Boss only. Drops Poseidon's Fin.

By the way, Hot Spring Bream can be found in Ginormosia as well, on the little mountain lake in Scorchrock Mountain near Moltana Wastes, they're pretty much common to that specific lake.

Quick correction about my last comment since I made an oopsie, you actually CANNOT save-scum the bosses in Treasure Grove because the game does auto-save each time you re-plant. Sorry for posting the wrong rumor under a guide that isn't even mine!

@ Pimez: thanks for the suggestions! I will rename the guide, although I won't be adding the boss crop/treasure grove tips since this is just a list of static locations as compared to those, which are dynamic.

"Legendary" is used to describe other things in the game, so you may want to change the title to "Boss" like in the game. You may also add that "Boss Crops" are from big sprouts that randomly grow from regular crops.

Another tip is that you can check what the boss in each Treasure Trove is before entering. I think you can save first, then keep planting until you find the one you need, or reload if you don't find any. This is mostly for bosses exclusive to Treasure Trove, be it foes or gathering spots.

All in all, this is a really nice list! I'll later be yoinking that for my notes haha (linking to you of course)
