BEST Colour of Lumina Farm

This guide shows you a route for Colour of Lumina farming that doesn't require a Lvl 90+ Maelle/Verso. The route is from flag to fight, and nets you 5 CoLs per 1.5min (assuming you have finished ACT 2) as guaranteed drops.

Requirements

1. Finish Act 2 to obtain both the checkpoint flag and the Painted Power Picto.
2. Build your main DPS to kill on turn 1 (Maelle is best in slot if you got her weapon)

The Route

First enter the monolith again and make your way to the first checkpoint flag.

Then fast travel to the Tower Peak checkpoint.

Now from the flag, turn around and make your way back up to and past the fountain.

Avoid the enemies next to it and continue forwards and as you pass the benches keep to the right at the fork in the path.


At end of the path turn right and use the grapple point to cross the gap and climb the stairs just ahead to fight the game's namesake.


To win the fight, the enemies to the side both have 76,080 HP, and the main enemy has ~378k HP. This fight is doable prior to beating Act 2, but the Painted Power Picto (rewarded for finishing Act 2) makes it farmable. After the fight you will see a similar results screen to the following:

Now just return to the Tower Peak checkpoint and rest to respawn the Clair Obscur enemy.

Conclusion

Once you get to the point that you can beat the fight in one turn, the route takes ~1.5 minutes.

I think this is faster than the "Drafts" Entrance loop, the more difficult (but more consistent) "Drafts" Entrance turn left grapple loop, or the "Drafts" merchant farm. This route takes longer per loop, but the Color of Lumina drop is guaranteed and offers 2-4 more depending on your luck in the other farming route. This is the best I've found and it is very early in comparison if you don't know where to grind yet.

You can 1-shot merchant in Renoir's Drafts (on expert) with a level 65-70 Monoco with 99 lumina points, and a level 25 Joyaro/Sakapatate fire skill you find in Endless Night Sanctuary. Pretty low entry to farming more efficiently as long as you have the damage pictos.

Nice, thanks. Out of the three solutions (drafts gold tree, drafts merchant, monolith peak), I have to say only the drafts merchant can (easily) be automated ;) A simple pyautogui script does the job.

I've used this same route to hit 900 lumina on Maelle - the farm is even better with Verso wielding Contorso, which procs a second lightning attack on crit (it needs to be at least 20) - I run him Solo with Crit last stand picto, so every aimed shot is a double hit. Spam shoot to kill the minion on the left, right then finally the boss. Seems the double hits proc a double kill (reflects as much in the kill count at the end of the fight). that's 10 lumina per 1.5min run. Works most of the time.

What's 1L and why are you listing two different "s" (seconds?) in each line? Like which one is it for the Drafts Gold Tree location - 60s per 4 Lumina or 15s, lol?

Drafts merchant: 1.5 Lumina / 20s, 1L / 13.4s
Monolith Peak: 5 Lumina / 90s, 1L / 18s
