How to fix multiplayer on House of Ashes

This is what i did to fix all the issues of playing multiplayer on house of ashes:
Player 1 who bought the game installs the real game and the friends pass version, he launches the real game and sends the code to his friend, his friend presses on "Add a Game" in the bottom left steam menu and redeems the game (friend pass version). Both players then launch the friends pass version, player 2 launches first. Then you can easily start a game and invite eachother to join, if this doesnt work player 1 needs to load into the real version first, accept the game invite from player 2 and the friends pass version should automatically launch and put you into the same game
