TRUE SONS
The True Sons are a former JTF unit turned paramilitary group of radical mutineers and trained criminals determined to eliminate all enemies and rivals in their pursuit of domination. Known for their brutal discipline and complete apathy, they are a highly coordinated and dangerous faction. According to them, America was founded through bloodshed, and through bloodshed, a new society will rise. Whatever it takes, True Sons will be at the top of the food chain.

When the pandemic broke out, chaos and panic spread across Washington, D.C. In an attempt to control the spreading of the virus, the JTF established a quarantine on Roosevelt Island. Colonel Antwon Ridgeway was given the responsibility to administer the quarantine and ensure that everything ran smoothly. Seeing all the tragedy and despair caused by the virus, Ridgeway started to lose faith in the JTF’s ability to save Washington D.C. He quickly came to the conclusion that there was no way they were all going to survive.

His downfall came after he murdered a civilian, leading to court-martial and imprisonment. After escaping with supporters, he formed the "True Sons of Liberty" which grew by absorbing or eliminating rival militia groups. As the city descended into chaos with DC-62, Ridgeway attacked The Capitol, while the True Sons fortified their position. The Division counterattacked, undermining the True Sons' capabilities and leadership. A final desperate effort by the True Sons to intimidate the Division ended in their defeat, leading to Ridgeway's death and the collapse of their organization into disarray.

"There is no room for weakness. Cowards die on their knees. It’s gonna be great."
- Antwon Ridgeway
OUTCASTS
The Outcasts are a bitter Roosevelt Island quarantine survivors, they are hell-bent on revenge against society because they were placed in a forced quarantine that was poorly run and killed many. Their leader, Emeline Shaw, believes everyone is complicit and urges her followers to punish the guilty by spreading sickness and murdering indiscriminately. They are notorious for their sadistic nature and religious-like devotion to their cause, which is reflected in their use of suicide bombers, Molotov cocktails, and flamethrowers. Their goals have even attracted those who weren't part of the quarantine on Roosevelt Island including those with law enforcement or military training.

Their fanatical devotion to their ideals are somewhat similar to the Cleaners, and some Outcasts even utilize homemade flamethrowers that resemble the Cleaner's custom rifles. However, their goals appear to be the complete opposite of each other: The Cleaners wish to burn away all traces of the Green Poison, regardless of what must be sacrificed in the process, whereas the Outcasts want to spread death, disease, and misery wherever they go, seeking revenge against a society that let them suffer under the corrupt JTF soldiers that would later form the True Sons.

"Our enemies are right across that river. They tore us away from our families. Locked us in here. Starved us. Deprived us. Assaulted and murdered us. But it's not just them. It's also the ones that signed the orders. Who decided this was an acceptable solution. And it's the ones - all the ones - who stood by and let it happen. Doing nothing. I want justice. And so I condemn them. All of them. And I will not rest until they are punished."
- Emeline Shaw rallying the Outcasts at Roosevelt Island and declaring war against everyone in Washington, D.C.
HYENAS
The Hyenas are a disorganized gang of hedonistic scavengers that exploit the vulnerable citizens affected by the Green Poison outbreak in Washington, D.C. As society collapsed, various clans formed to survive through theft and violence, leading to turf battles among six prominent clans. They eventually established a "freedom council" declaring their unified identity as the Hyenas and defining their "freedoms" to plunder, accumulate resources, and prevent other groups from gaining control. Despite lacking central organization, the Hyenas are reckless and aggressive enemies that prioritze enemy elimination over their own safety, charging around in a battle and caring only about destroying their opponents completely.

BLACK TUSK
The Black Tusk also known as the Black Tusk Special Unit or B.T.S.U., is a highly trained and well-equipped special operations unit, aiming to control the U.S. federal government. Unlike other factions, they have high-level backing, unlimited funding, precise Intel, and advanced technology. They have secured key locations during the Green Poison pandemic and have been called to Washington, D.C. to counter The Division. Comprised of military and paramilitary units with a history of working for shadowy U.S. government elements, they are believed to have been prepared for the pandemic. Recent Intel suggests their intent to "cleanse, pacify, and police the emerging New America."

||LOCATIONS||
DC DARKZONES
DZ WEST
Located in Georgetown, the town willfully allowed the government to come in and fumigate the town with DC-62, long before the lethal effects were fully known. The area was walled off shortly after the first few deaths of the toxin happened, and is now a "ghost town".

DZ EAST
Located near the East Mall, Dark Zone East was a military-occupied area. An explosion at a containment storage containing DC-62 led to massive casualties, forcing whatever was left of the JTF and the volunteers to evacuate the area and lead to the area being walled off. The wall off attempt was successful.

DZ SOUTH
Located in Waterfront, Dark Zone South was the primary storage facility site for DC-62, as well as the back-up military base after DZ East was evacuated. A flood breached the vaults containing DC-62 and spilled it across the whole zone. The military and scientists within the zone were once again forced to evacuate and wall off the whole zone.
SETTLEMENTS
The Green Poison pathogen spread from its origin to Washington, D.C. in early December, leading to chaos as neighborhoods transformed into dangerous zones. Grocery stores became targets for looters, prompting some to bunker down while others scavenged. Communities formed fortified settlements and shared resources, including CERA refugee camps. However, by February, hostile raiders attacked these smaller settlements, leaving only three larger ones: the Castle, the Campus, and the Theater.

CASTLE SETTLEMENT
The Castle Settlement was founded by Mike Snow, a former True Sons Sergeant, who opposed Ridgeway's leadership and the violence against civilians, in East Mall. It initially served as a CERA refuge camp during the crisis but fell to repeated True Sons attacks, leading to its collapse. Settlement was established at the Smithsonian Castle providing sanctuary and resources, helping people. However, as the True Sons expanded, they surrounded the Castle, and in June, they breached its defenses, ending in devastation by launching missiles with DC-62 toxin. Eventually, by Year 5 Season 2: Puppeteers, the Division managed to rebuild the Castle as a functional settlement.

CAMPUS SETTLEMENT
The Campus Settlement, initially a CERA refugee camp in Downtown West, transformed into a tightly organized community focused on survival and self-reliance. Under the leadership of Henry Hayes, who emphasized hard work, residents engaged in agriculture and defensive measures as supplies dwindled. Daily life revolved around essential tasks like obtaining food and security, with strict adherence to the principle: "He that does not work, neither shall they eat." This focus on survival led to a severe and joyless atmosphere, prioritizing labor above all else.

THEATER SETTLEMENT
The Theater Settlement, located in Downtown East near the FBI Headquarters, is the first player settlement, founded as a well-protected Civilian Militia front. Led by former Division agent Odessa Sawyer, it emphasizes rule-following and cooperation with the JTF and The Division. Situated on rooftops, it expanded from Ford's Theater, which became a sanctuary for civilians fleeing Hyena attacks. Sawyer, a field operative wounded during the Division's First Wave, has overseen fortification efforts to safeguard residents from ongoing violence.
WASHINGTON
HISTORY

As the Green Poison outbreak devastated Manhattan, President Waller signed Directive 51, activating the Strategic Homeland Division. He soon died of a heart attack. The disease spread to D.C., leading to a failed quarantine on Roosevelt Island and the emergence of the Outcasts. Efforts by CERA, JTF, and President Mendez to control the situation failed, resulting in chaos and the toxic DC-62 chemical rendering areas uninhabitable, creating D.C. Dark Zones. The JTF weakened significantly as many defected to form the True Sons, led by Antwon Ridgeway. Mendez died shortly after, prompting a mass evacuation of government personnel. The city descended into anarchy with factions like the Outcasts, True Sons, and Hyenas fighting for control while civilians formed militias. After the evacuation, Air Force One carrying President Ellis was shot down, and he has been missing since.
LOWER MANHATTAN
HISTORY

Before Warlords of New York, Lower Manhattan became a Decontamination Zone during the outbreak, with walls limiting access to Division agents and JTF personnel. Eventually, the threat level decreased, leading to the reopening of the zone and the establishment of a Base of Operations at City Hall and a trading post on Wall Street. Civilians formed a settlement called Haven. However, peace was disrupted by Rogue Division agent Aaron Keener's coordinated attack on the JTF.

Events of Warlords of New York

Keener and his Rogue Lieutenants unleashed chaos in Lower Manhattan after attacking the JTF headquarters. They caused significant harm to the Peacekeepers and remaining JTF members, with key figures like Javier Kajika, Vivian Conley, and James Dragov taking control of critical areas. Agents, including Alani Kelso and Faye Lau, were dispatched to combat Keener, culminating in a showdown on Liberty Island that ended with Keener's death and the activation of the Rogue Network. It was later revealed that Faye Lau had gone rogue and joined the Black Tusk, leading into the first season, Shadow Tide.

||PEOPLE||
AARON KEENER
Aaron Keener, callsign Vanguard, is a First Wave Strategic Homeland Division agent who, after the Joint Task Force's disastrous surrender and retreat from the Dark Zone, disavowed the Division and went rogue. Recruiting a number of other First Wave agents to his cause and killing those who resisted, he developed his own ambitions for establishing order and a future for the country or possibly the world, even if he is accused of high treason and branded a traitor of the United States federal government to do it.

While Keener's identity was shrouded throughout Tom Clancy's The Division, his intentions were unraveled during the events of Warlords of New York, making him somewhat of an antagonist whose intentions were far worse than that of Gordon Amherst.

In Year 6 Season 1: First Rogue, after he survived his encounter with the Division at Liberty Island. Keener went to D.C. to parley with them and build up an alliance against Black Tusk and the Hunters. Since then, the agents secured Keener, and he was put in house arrest at the White House's Panic Room, while the Division worked in finding Theo Parnell and Alani Kelso before he could share more of what he knows.
ANTHON RIDGEWAY
Colonel Antwon Ridgeway was a colonel of the Maryland National Guard and the self-appointed "General" and leader of the True Sons in Washington, D.C. and serves as one of the four main antagonists in Tom Clancy's The Division 2. He appears as the final boss in the final Stronghold, at the Capitol Building.

Ridgeway served during the start of the outbreak in Washington, D.C. and was given the responsibility to administer the quarantine on Roosevelt Island to make sure everything ran smoothly. When the chaos erupted in the quarantine, he deployed guards to make sure nobody could leave the area. He let people starve to death and withheld medicine from the infected.

Ridgeway abused his authority for a long time until the commander of the JTF discovered him and imprisoned Ridgeway for his actions. Once loyal members of his unit freed him, Ridgeway gathered men from his former unit and the stockade where he was held prisoner, they captured JTF officers that had imprisoned him and held a symbolic tribunal for them, only to execute them all moments later.
BARDON SCHAEFFER
Bardon Schaeffer was the Black Tusk Specialist Unit Leader during the Black Tusk Invasion of Washington, D.C. He was initially directly below the Black Tusk Commanding Officer for the majority of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (whose identity has yet to be unmasked alongside the majority of Black Tusk's higher-ups), but after disastrous ordeals throughout the nation's capital alongside the events that led to his retreat at Liberty Island and the assimilation of the remaining Last Man Battalion forces, he now reports directly to Natalya Sokolova since Season 3's expansion pack's Manhunt in which at the time of the season release, vague details was known about Natalya at the time.
In the first year of the game, Bardon and the B.T.S.U. have monitored the status of Washington, D.C. and since has invaded the city swiftly after the Division pushed out the True Sons from the Capitol Building. Attempting to put the nation's capital in the B.T.S.U.'s grip, the motives of Black Tusk (specifically the B.T.S.U.) were very vague until mission after mission they were considered hostiles as their motives unraveled, until the moment Alani Kelso marked Schaeffer as The Division's most wanted for accusing them as a rogue agency and for high crimes discovered through the sandbox ECHO scenes. After the events of Season 3, Concealed Agenda, he was neutralized by the Division at Coney Island and was unconsciously apprehended at Kelso's request.

In the events of Hidden Alliance, it was revealed that Schaeffer went turncoat after he learned the truth about the Hunters and Calvin McManus from Faye Lau. The reason he was in Conley Island was to act as bait and be captured by the Division, so he could warn them about the Hunters. Unfortunately, due to being in a coma, he couldn't deliver the message.

In Reign of Fire, when Black Tusk attacked the White House, a squad was sent to eliminate Schaeffer. Thankfully, Manny Ortega hid him in the panic room and the Black Tusk forces were eliminated by swift intervention from Division agents.

With Burden of Truth, it's revealed that Schaeffer is the key to opening the secret bunkers held by Black Tusk. And after awakening from his coma after two months in the hospital bed, the future still holds out for Schaeffer and his role in the coming conflict between the Division and the Black Tusk/Hunters.
EMELINE SHAW
Before the Green Poison outbreak, Shaw was a prosecutor with a no-nonsense personality, as she aggressively stated evidence against a defendant who had brutally murdered his girlfriend.

Emeline was forcefully separated from her daughter Savannah during the quarantine, and she later learned that Savannah had died due to mistreatment at Roosevelt Island. This trauma forms the foundation of Emeline's quest for vengeance against everyone responsible, and everyone who stood by and let it happen.

Emeline is also an asymptomatic carrier of the disease, something in which she takes a certain perverse pride, as if she was spared so that she could enact her revenge on everyone else.

Through strength of charisma, she leads the Outcasts. It is her force of personality that helps drive them, and that sweeps up those in her path to become her willing warriors.
HYENA COUNCIL
As the highest command within the Hyenas, the Hyena Council consists of the toughest and smartest pack leaders from the various clans, centralizing the faction's power, leadership, and organization of the Hyenas.

The Council is led by Books, the Assembly Supervisor, making him the de facto leader of the Hyenas overall.

With Books and the remaining Council members brought to justice at the District Union Arena, the Hyenas become disorganized and decentralized, making them a low-to-minor threat to Washington, D.C.
PRESIDENT ELLIS
Andrew Ellis was a former President of the United States. Sworn into office at an undisclosed bunker, he succeeded Thomas Mendez, after the latter was murdered by two secret service agents (made to look like suicide). He was on board Air Force One returning to Washington, D.C., when it was shot down as it was descending to land at Andrews AFB and was listed as K.I.A.

As The Division went into the Bank Headquarters to recover what the Hyenas stole from Air Force One, it was discovered that Ellis was alive and being held hostage. He was subsequently rescued and returned to The White House.

As the Black Tusk invaded Washington, D.C. after the defeat of the True Sons, President Ellis disappeared without a trace. A discovered ECHO incriminated the President working with Bardon Schaeffer and the Black Tusk by giving them the antivirals to cure Green Poison, construed as an act of betrayal against the JTF, The Division and the United States of America. Ellis was subsequently declared a traitor to the United States and a manhunt began underway, with his position as President revoked by the United States government.

Ellis was eventually assassinated by Faye Lau at Camp White Oak during a planned meeting between the two.

||STORY||
PROLOGUE
Seven months following the Green Poison outbreak, a group of Division agents is protecting a civilian settlement from a bandit assault. During the chaos, the SHD Network, which manages their advanced technology and communications, unexpectedly goes offline. Simultaneously, they receive an emergency distress signal from Washington, D.C.
RETAKING THE CAPITAL
The player’s agent arrives in D.C. at the Base of Operations in the White House, briefed by Manny Ortega on the city's situation, dominated by three factions: the Hyenas, the Outcasts, and the True Sons. The agent, alongside Alani Kelso, is tasked with assisting civilians, combating enemy groups, and restoring the SHD Network. They discover that President Ellis may still be alive and could provide access to a cure for Green Poison, but his safety is a concern. After rescuing Ellis from the Hyenas, the agent learns the cure is locked in a briefcase held by the True Sons in the Capitol. The agent bolsters The Division's strength while weakening the factions, restoring the SHD Network nationwide. Eventually, victories against the factions in their strongholds lead to their disorganization and defeat.

After celebrating their victory, agents face a new threat from the Black Tusk, a private security contractor that invades D.C., seizing landmarks and causing chaos. The Black Tusk had been planning this invasion and had connections with other factions. The agent manages to stabilize the situation and finds that Ellis gave the Antivirals to the Black Tusk, held at their Tidal Basin Headquarters. The agent launches a mission to reclaim the antivirals and defeat the Black Tusk, narrowly avoiding disaster. Despite recovering the antivirals, D.C. is left unstable with multiple factions vying for control, and Ellis remains missing. Agents require a perfusion bioreactor to reproduce the antivirals.
THE OUTSKIRTS
After a short amount of time passes, both President Ellis and Emeline Shaw are located in the outskirts of Washington, D.C. President Ellis has taken refuge in Camp White Oak, which is under Black Tusk control. The agent assaults the base with a group of JTF for support. The JTF are quickly killed in a trap, leaving just the agents to secure President Ellis. After fighting through waves of Black Tusk, President Ellis manages to escape via helicopter, leaving the agents behind. Emeline Shaw gathers her forces to the Manning National Zoo.

Division agents are given the task of bringing Shaw in, dead or alive. To do this, they are dropped outside the entrance to the zoo, and must secure the monorail line in order to access Shaw. After the agents manage to secure the line, they have to fight through several more waves of Outcasts, and some animals that were left behind, to reach Emeline. In a final stand-off, Division agents must plant explosives to knock out Emeline's weaponized monorail car. During this fight, Emeline is killed, leaving the Outcasts without a leader.

At the same time, a JTF convoy that had previously been assumed to have gone rogue is located. They had been attacked by Outcasts outside Kenley College, and their attackers had secured military-grade technology, a mobile SHD communicator, and several tanks of chemicals that could be used to make bombs. Division agents are tasked with both recovering or destroying the stolen materials, and finding out the final fate of the convoy.

Meanwhile, in D.C. a minor civilian community in the Central Aquarium is under attack from Hyenas, and Division agents receive a distress signal. NSA Site B13 is also being breached by the Black Tusk, which are after the data center held within. While defending the data center, Division agents discover several audio logs detailing the NSA's awareness of Gordon Amherst's radical views.
PENTAGON
Division agents receive a transmission from an agent currently scouting out The Pentagon. They were looking to see if DARPA had successfully made a perfusion bioreactor, but they ran into a major Black Tusk operation. Agents in D.C. are tasked with securing and investigating The Pentagon in hopes of recovering the reactor.

The Agents make it to the Pentagon's perimeter and learn that Agent Sanders survived Black Tusk's attack on the waterfront settlement. With Sanders as mission control, they fought their way to the Pentagon to learn of what Petreus Brenner and his Black Tusk forces are after. They learned that the PMC is after the perfusion bioreactor for themselves. In a race against time, Division Agents fought through DARPA Research Labs to find the reactor. Despite Black Tusk getting the bioreactor first, the Agents managed to secure it for themselves. But before they can call exfil, they had to deal with Brenner and the remainder of his troops.

Despite mortar support and automated turrets, Brenner and the Black Tusk forces in the Pentagon were eliminated, allowing the Division to extract the bioreactor towards the White House BoO
CONEY ISLAND
Aaron Keener makes a deal with the Black Tusk stationed on Coney Island. They will get Vitaly Tchernenko and in exchange, they'll owe him a favor. The Black Tusk accept and quarantine Tchernenko just in case he had infected himself whilst he was working for Keener. This is when an SHD drone finds the encampment and relays the information back to The White House. Agents are dispatched to Coney Island to recover Vitaly and neutralize the Black Tusk in the area.

Division agents successfully breach the ballpark and rescue Tchernenko, despite heavy mortar barrage. Tchernenko is extracted via helicopter and is taken into Division custody. At this point, while the Black Tusk is retreating, the Cleaners launch a surprise attack. This causes the majority of the Black Tusk to be forced to leave, while their local commander, Dolores Jones, stays behind to make a final stand at the roller coaster. The Cleaners promptly blow it up. At this point, the Cleaners retreat and Division agents clean up the rest of the Black Tusk on Coney Island.

After Dolores Jones was eliminated, a SHD drone got hacked and crashed in New York City. Aaron Keener made an ominous message to Division agents, telling them he'll always be one step ahead of them.
WARLORDS OF NY
A group of agents moves in on Aaron Keener's suspected location, only to find the room empty. Due to Keener's repeated escapes, Division Command in Lower Manhattan decides to call on backup from D.C. to assist in Keener's capture.

The player, along with Agent Kelso, arrive at the Division Command located in City Hall. The Command is under siege Aaron Keener, his rogue lieutenants, and the Rikers. The building is quickly destroyed and contaminated, becoming a control point later on. With their base destroyed, The Division makes contact with a nearby civilian settlement, Haven, to ask if they can stay there while Aaron Keener is being hunted down. Haven, led by Paul Rhodes, initially denies them access but later begrudgingly allows it under the condition that The Division will leave after Keener is neutralized.

Throughout the hunt against Keener, they went and eliminated his four lieutenants; James Dragov, Theo Parnell, Vivian Conley, and Javier Kajika to get any intel about Keener's whereabouts and his plans. The Division finally managed to get Keener's location, which is on Liberty Island. However, Black Tusk was already there and were planning to eliminate Keener themselves.

Despite Black Tusk's efforts, Division agents managed to eliminate their forces, forcing them to retreat. The agents go through Keener's base and learn that Project Eclipse is a ballistic missile filled with Keener's weaponized virus. Keener was planning to launch the missile on Manhattan, to start a "new beginning".

Despite all the SHD tech equipment at his disposal, the agents managed to disable his missile. Then they went to a prolonged fight against the rogue agent, which ended with him badly wounded. In his final moments, Keener activates the Rogue Network, before ominously taunting the agents before he dies.

Division agents intercept a conversation between Faye Lau and Bardon Schaeffer through Keener's watch and learn that Faye has went rogue and sided with Black Tusk, proclaiming that she will help them in ending The Division once and for all.
SHADOW TIDE
After the events in Warlords of New York, a cell led by Molly "Jupiter" Henderson aimed to dismantle the Division and eradicate the Green Poison. Division agents targeted her lieutenants—Chadwick "Neptune" Brandon III, Lucy "Venus" Anders, Mary "Saturn" Masters, and Ryan "Mercury" Chang—eliminating most in Washington, D.C., but finding Saturn in Lower Manhattan. Once eliminated, Jupiter was tracked to Roosevelt Island, where she used EMP jammers to disrupt agent technology. Division agents fought Cleaners, destroyed the jammers, and confronted Jupiter, defeating her despite her resistance. Although the recovered communications were not significant, they revealed that Jupiter received the Eclipse Virus from Aaron Keener, which she deemed too dangerous for her plans. With Jupiter's cell neutralized, a new Rogue cell emerged with their own Eclipse Virus supply.
KEENER'S LEGACY
Presumably after the Events in "Shadow Tide", a new Rogue Cell has been activated. This new cell is led by Carter "Hornet" Leroux, who survived the fight with The Agent at the Russian Consulate in the previous game after Keener retrieved him and, with help of Lori "Termite" Baker, restarted his heart. After Keener's death, he secured the formula for the Eclipse virus and formed the new Rogue Cell with Termite, Tegan "Luna" Silver, Elija "Huntsman" Le and Jason "Titan" Barnes and formed an alliance with the Outcasts. After tracking down and eliminating all of Hornet's partners, The Agents are able to track Hornet's location to the former Black Tusk Stronghold, Tidal Basin. After launching an attack at the Eclipse ridden base, The Division is able to neutralize Hornet, securing his Healing Trap mod, and force the Outcasts to withdraw
CONCEALED AGENDA
After the death of Hornet and his Rogue Cell, BTSU Commander Bardon Schaeffer amassed a cell of Rogue Agents that consisted of Marley "Shade" Yarrow, Sueko "Wraith" Tanagi, Linette "Dusk" Edwards, and Skylar "Belfry" Williams who are embedded within the Rikers, Hyenas, True Sons, and Outcasts respectively. Schaeffer recruited the cell with the hope to wage proxy war by suppling enemy factions against The Division to weaken them and allow Black Tusk the upper hand.

The Agents located Bardon Schaeffer at Coney Island. During their pursuit, they were shocked to learn that the Hunter was convinced by Schaeffer to put the feud aside and focus on the Division. Despite the challenge, the Agents eliminated the Hunter and focused ahead on Schaeffer. Despite the support from his fellow BTSU team, Schaeffer was critically injured, leaving him uncoscious. As such, The Division sent him to the White House for medical care.
END OF WATCH
Not long after Bardon Schaeffer's defeat at Coney Island, Faye Lau and her Rogue Cell consisting of Bridgette "Viper" Douglas, Felix "Kestrel" Sokolov, Dustin "Magnus" Xavier, and Alicia "Circe" Coswald. The mission puprose for Lau and her cell were unknown, but Division Agents amassed themselves to hunt down the former Division agent and her cell.

During the hunt, Agents learned that Faye was setting up a meet with "Chickenhawk" aka President Andrew Ellis. Eventually, they located Lau at Camp White Oak, where she was meeting with the President. As Agents fought through Black Tusk forces, they reached the Lake House and find President Ellis dead with an ECHO revealed that Faye Lau shot him down. In pursuit, the agents found Faye Lau and prevented her from escaping via a heli. In the ensuing firefight, Lau tried to convince the agents that she's not the enemy, to no avail, as she was shot dead by her former colleagues.

With Faye Lau and President Ellis dead leaves a lot of questions. Faye Lau also left two comms to Roy Benitez and Paul Rhodes as an apology and explaining her reasons for her defection, which led to speculation over her alignment.

HIDDEN ALLIANCE
Following Faye Lau's death, Agent Alani Kelso found an encrypted insurance policy on her laptop. Concurrently, General Peter Anderson led a True Sons team, including Captain Fred Lewis and his squad, into D.C. while aiming to re-establish a foothold and uncover ties between the Hunters and Black Tusk. The Division worked to eliminate Lewis's team, finding him the lone survivor at Jefferson Trade Center. They allied to combat Black Tusk, encountering The Recruiter and Jack Bonney, who was eliminated with Lewis's help. Decrypting Lau’s files revealed significant connections, including Calvin McManus from Homeland Security collaborating with Black Tusk's CEO, Natalya Sokolova. Lau and Bardon Schaeffer were covertly working to alert The Division, with Schaeffer's presence in Coney Island serving as a trap. It remains unclear if Schaeffer, still unconscious, will awaken to assist The Division.
PRICE OF POWER
After the Jefferson Trade Center events, General Anderson realized his True Sons couldn't fight both the Division and the Black Tusk. He reached out to Natalya Sokolova to rebuild the alliance, which Captain Lewis opposed, seeking the Division's help to stop it. Despite their past service together, Manny Ortega coordinated with Division agents to eliminate Anderson's escort: Mathias "Trig" Schneider, Shawn "Micro" Clarke, Sandra "Chirpy" Patterson, and Mitchell "Lucky" Woods. They intercepted communication revealing Sokolova and Anderson's plan to capture Lewis and the defecting True Sons. After Lucky's death, Lewis was captured at Pentco Fairview Power Plant while attempting a rescue. Division Agents raced against time to save him and kill Black Tusk officers Nico "Brain" McPherson and Hank "Bough" Bibichev. They successfully escaped, but the Black Tusk and True Sons formed an alliance, leaving the Division to deal with this new threat while gaining support from Lewis, Candice "Wally" Wallace, and other defectors.
REIGN OF FIRE
Division Agents discover Zachary "Stovepipe" Beattie in Washington D.C., aiming to gather intel on Bardon Schaeffer after his capture. The Division aims to stop Stovepipe's team and thwart dirty bomb rumors linked to Outcasts. They eliminate Stovepipe's team and intercept encrypted recordings revealing concerns from members like Charles "Chunks" Crawford and Lieutenant Martin Bantam. When Agents reach Coney Island to confront Stovepipe, they find him dead and face an ambush from Black Tusk forces, including an experimental Warhound called Sparkle. After defeating Sparkle, they learn the ambush was a distraction for Sokolova's plan to attack the White House and eliminate Schaeffer. During the assault, their SHD Network is compromised, but they retain access to SHD Tech. They encounter a Razorback but manage to defeat it. Afterward, Agents discover Manny Ortega brought Schaeffer to a panic room while Captain Lewis was killed by a Hunter. Agents Kelso and Sanders assist Manny, and they listen to a final recording from Sokolova, who proclaims her ambition to take over Washington D.C. and reveals she has kidnapped several civilians, including Mari Singh, who is pregnant with Manny's child, threatening him to surrender the White House for her return.
BROKEN WINGS
After the devastating events of "Reign of Fire", Manny Ortega and Candice "Wally" Wallace assessed the number of civilians who got kidnapped by Black Tusk. Namely, John Yazzie, Eva Garcia, Lauren Fong, Mitchell Billings, Mari Singh, Cindy McAllister, Mel Arnold, Jack Arnold, and Virkam Malik. In addition, Harlan "The Strategist" Lloyd and Vitaly Tchernenko were also kidnapped. In order to rebuild the Castle Settlement, the Agents must get their people back.

With the help of Wally, Division Agents rescued John Yazzie, Eva Garcia, Lauren Fong, and Mitchell Billings. After those civilians were rescued, the Agents learned that Natalya Sokolova had her Black Tusk treat the civilians humanely and give them work based on their background, which unnerved Manny. Mari Singh was located at Manning National Zoo, with the Agents going there to rescue her and kill any Black Tusk and their officers standing in their way. After Mari was secured, the Agents called up for exfil, though they'd see The Recruiter observing them.

Mari was sent to the Castle and reunited with Manny, who revealed that they're having a daughter. But most importantly, Manny learn from Mari that Sokolova wants the former to give up the White House to the Black Tusk to legitimize them. But in order to put a stop to Sokolova's plans, the Division and their allies need to rescue more of their people including Virkam Malik. Meanwhile, a Black Tusk recon drone was observing the conversation with an unknown BT Commander informing Natalya that the asset is in place and awaits her orders.
PUPPETEERS
After rescuing Mari Singh, Agent Brian Johnson and the Division aimed to save four more civilians: Cindy McAllister, Mel Arnold, Jack Arnold, and Vikram Malik, while intercepting The Recruiter. During the rescues, they discovered issues with the Mobile SHD Server. After rescuing Vikram, he requested help to save his sister, Birdie Malik, at Camp White Oak. Johnson, possessing the Mobile SHD Server, battled Black Tusk and found Birdie at the Lake House. It was revealed that he was The Recruiter trying to flee with the server. With Birdie's assistance and Black Tusk's mortars, they confronted Johnson, who called the Agents Rogues. Birdie deployed a countermeasure against the SHD Tech, allowing them to harm Johnson. In a final effort, she killed him with mortars and secured the server. The realization that Hunters infiltrated the Division sparked distrust, particularly towards Agent Kelso, as Natalya Sokolova spread propaganda for the Black Tusk. Meanwhile, at the Meret Estate, under attack from the Cleaners, a team of Division agents, including Wright and the Cleaner couple, "The Lovebirds", eliminated the threats. It was uncovered that Sokolova had a fallen friendship with the estate's heiress and used Wright to kidnap Mackenzie. The estate suffered significant damage, leading survivors to seek refuge in Haven, Lower Manhattan.
VANGUARD
After the events of "Puppeteers," concerns arise about Agent Kelso's loyalty following her disappearance. Manny Ortega learns from Roy Benitez that Kelso is missing, prompting Division Agents to search Lower Manhattan. They review security footage revealing Kelso resting before pursuing a trail from AI ANNA's "Cassandra." The Agents investigate four areas while fighting BTSU squads, eventually finding footage of Kelso entering a safehouse and activating an ECHO meant for Faye Lau, revealing her secret collaboration to undermine Black Tusk and the Hunters.

Kelso tries to open an SHD crate but is incapacitated due to failed authentication. Agents intercept comms about Keener helping civilians and uncover Bridgette Douglas' connection to Black Tusk. They locate Kelso at the Stranded Tanker, battling Black Tusk and True Sons to retrieve the SHD Crate. However, they are also incapacitated, allowing Keener and his team to escape with the Mobile SHD Server.

Back at Haven, Agents discover an audio log from Keener, revealing his falsely reported death and Parnell's survival through deception. Keener expresses that more will die unless change occurs and urges Agents to join him against adversaries. With Kelso now marked Rogue, trust issues arise, but her notes suggest her actions are driven by guilt over Lau's death. The Division anticipates reconnecting with her soon.
FIRST ROGUE
Aaron Keener and his team traveled to Washington, D.C. to negotiate with the Division, assigning agents four trials named after Greek Mythology figures: Echo, Hercules, Leto, and Nyx. Through these trials, agents intercepted communications revealing Keener's acquisition of a USB drive containing a roster of the Hunter Program recruits, indicating government distrust of Division agents. After the Nyx trial, Keener met with the agents, but Black Tusk attacked, leading to a battle in the Federal Emergency Bunker where they defeated an experimental Warhound named Chimera. Keener then agreed to conditions set by Manny Ortega for a meeting in the White House, where intel about The Cabal, a powerful shadow organization, was exchanged. The partnership between Division agents and Keener will continue under specified conditions.
SHADES OF RED
Division agents visited Rogue Agent Aaron Keener in his cell and learned about his team members, Theo Parnell and Alani Kelso, who had split up in D.C. The agents were tasked with finding Parnell, who didn't trust them. They solved a series of riddles across Washington, D.C. , leading them to intercept communications revealing Parnell's plans and interactions with Keener.

Throughout their mission, the agents completed activities tied to each riddle, learning about the Combat Simulation Program, Parnell's personal life, and security issues with the Network. Parnell expressed concerns about juggling his roles as an agent and a father. As the mission progressed, they found intel about the Hunters and their operations, along with discussions of future plans and issues within the organization.

Eventually, the agents were sent to the Space Administration Building to rescue Parnell from the Hyenas, now allied with Black Tusk. During a confrontation, they used ANNA's guidance to disable an enemy's armor and succeeded in their mission. They recovered multiple communications, detailing interactions about operations, personal reflections, and technological advancements, indicating a growing conflict between the Division and Black Tusk's supported factions, signaling escalating tensions in their ongoing war.
BURDEN OF TRUTH
After securing Aaron Keener and Theo Parnell in the White House, Manny Ortega coordinated with Division agents to locate Alani Kelso. They followed her trail across East Mall and intercepted communications between Bridgette Douglas and Keener discussing Faye Lau and personal dynamics. Agents collected clues in Downtown East, Federal Triangle, Constitution Hall, and Judiciary Square while uncovering Lau's involvement with President Ellis, Black Tusk dynamics, and the implications of the Ark Protocol. ANNA documented insightful commentary on characters, and clues revealed internal conflicts and relationships among agents. Ultimately, agents pinpointed Kelso's location on Roosevelt Island, where they battled True Sons and recovered Faye Lau’s Mobile SHD Server, revealing Lau's ties to Ellis. In a surprise twist, Kelso infiltrated the White House medbay to revive Bardon Schaeffer while dealing with the consequences of the ongoing battle. Meanwhile, communications revealed Douglas's frustrations with Mackenzie Meret and Schaeffer's pivotal role in accessing Nat's secret bunkers for potential strategies against Black Tusk. Despite the challenges ahead, the Division is prepared to confront the emerging threats and mysteries surrounding The Ark Protocol.
