Warhammer 40k - Death Korps of Krieg

The Death Korps of Krieg are a grim and relentless regiment of the Astra Militarum in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, famed for their unwavering discipline, stoic demeanor, and fanatical willingness to die in the service of the Imperium. Hailing from the irradiated, war-torn world of Krieg, their entire culture revolves around atonement for a long-past rebellion against the Imperium, leading them to embrace self-sacrifice as a form of redemption. Clad in gas masks and trench coats evocative of ancient wars, they specialize in siege warfare, attritional combat, and brutal trench fighting, often preferring death over retreat or surrender. The Death Korps are raised from birth to accept death as inevitable, making them fearless and brutally efficient on the battlefield. Though they are often seen as cold and expendable, their loyalty is absolute, and their grim resolve embodies the Imperium’s harshest ideals.
