[ STALKER Clear Sky ] - Shadow Fix Settings

For people who get shadow clipping,popping and any weird shadow bugs. This is more of a compromise, as shadows seem to be hardcoded into the game somehow. As of the time of writing this i have found no real fix for those who want to play at maximum settings, on any forums. You can either have detailed shadows that pop up close, or blurry shadows that pop up far away. I chose the latter. The settings for this are in the "r2_sun etc.etc.etc" commands.

Go to your Steamapps / STALKER Clear Sky / _appdata_ and find "user.ltx"
In there you will find these commands, edit them to look like this. These are set for shadow pop further away, but make shadows blurry.

r2_sun_depth_far_bias -0.00002
r2_sun_depth_far_scale 1.
r2_sun_depth_near_bias 0.00001
r2_sun_depth_near_scale 1.
r2_sun_details off
r2_sun_far 180.
r2_sun_focus on
r2_sun_lumscale 1.
r2_sun_lumscale_amb 1.
r2_sun_lumscale_hemi 1.
r2_sun_near 48.
r2_sun_near_border 0.75
r2_sun_quality st_opt_high
r2_sun_shafts st_opt_high
r2_sun_tsm on
r2_sun_tsm_bias -0.01
r2_sun_tsm_proj 0.3

If you want more detailed shadows, change "r2_sun_near" from 48 to 36,24 or even 12. But be warned, shadows will pop up very close.

amazing guide, but i noted that if you use a lower value for r2_sun_far, like 51 or 100, the shadow quality is much higher. +rep and favorited
