1 - Run Steam as admin.
2 - "Steam Input" needs to be activated in your game properties.
3 - Choose a controller layout from the community or create one.

It works if you choose the recommended controller setup.
I tried using community controller layouts and it did not work until I used the recommended version.
Only problem left is that I'm still not able to revive w/o a keyboard...

It works for both mode... if it doesn't, you did something wrong...

But does the game actually have controller support? I tried with controller a few months back but it was just horrible. Have the dev's made the game controller friendly?
