Option 1, has 2 versions of what's called "Master class".
Version A) for USD 100.000 (standard money), you can train a character for 6 months, giving it +1 star (professionalism) increase - with 100% chance of success. E.g. Your Actor with 5 stars will become 6 stars after 6 months, provided he/she has the maximum skill ceiling of at least 6.
Version B) for USD 120.000 (standard money), you can train a character for 8 months, giving it +2 star (professionalism) increase - with 50% chance of success
Option 2, is currently greyed out, and called Experimental training. Considering what Master class does, it would seem logical this option pushes their skill (professionalism) ceiling.
