Nemesis: Redux

Descriere
Nemesis: Redux is a fan-made project based on the Nemesis board game (the original). It takes all of the main features of the original game and adds many of the updated mechanics from the new upcoming Nemesis: Retaliation game, that have been re-balanced. In addition, entirely new mechanics have been added for a truly unique Nemesis gameplay experience.

This mod also features lots of optional automation and QoL that makes playing it easy with very little upkeep.

Information on what's different can be found in the mod. Above the table, there are various info sheet graphics that explains what's different and what new rules to follow.

LATEST UPDATE 4/30/25:
Updated the Xenobiologist Character:
- Probe Arm now has the option to either gain 1 Tissue when Melee Attacking with it or to discard 1 Tissue to deal 1 additional Hit and not get a retaliation attack if the intruder survives.
- Computer Skills changed to Workstation Plan - A non-combat card with 3 actions; one to use a room with green items for free, another to gain 1 knowledge in a green item room, and the last to open or close a door.
- Field Experience can now be used in or out of combat, and its top effect can deal 1 Hit to an Intruder if one is present in your Room.
- Overmind can now be used in or out of combat.
- Vivisection changed to deal 1 Hit per 2 Knowledge you have (use to be deal melee attack with probe arm and deal 1 additional Hit per Tissue you have).

what abot medic? drugs give +3 cards and cantomination, but almost half of green items give +2/+3. not worth it at all. green staff less useful for medic and its good to convert heal to cards, but cost too much

when you hevely injured, you count as injured? like convict can heal himself by implant, when he heavely injureb?

and weakness
• Changed the Agile Adaptation - Rather than turning '3' shoot rolls to '5 + spend ammo', it makes adult Intruders only die on a '4' or '5' roll when shooting.
just insane. you need reducte theyrs hp to 4 and only then they can be killed with 50% chance on all shots. still ignor 2 and 3

most of changes ok but you nerf some already bad characters(lat rat-(worst character even for amogus quests. lots of contamination and zero way to remove them by our own), solder since most his cards remove ammo and xeno, who quicly loose his arm and become trash(pls change his arm from prevent contomination to prevent attack)
and you buff scout, who is already op.(since by change Noise Recognition you change whole mechanic rather then change scout)
android little buffed since he is srong.
sientist is really good debuff since hes been op
honestly, its not a worst update but i personally think its questonable
all is just my imho

Happy you're enjoying it. There's a few balance changes I want to touch on here and there for the Characters, but nothing major. As for new content, I had been thinking about potentially adding redux versions of new life forms like carnos, void seeders, etc.

Saw this on the trending tab and tried it with friends without knowing the original game, it felt so polished we didn’t realise it was a fan-made overhaul! Bit confusing at first, but super rewarding to learn as we go.

Haven’t played base Nemesis, but this mod’s great, and my favourite characters seem to be from this version. Really addictive and we’re all hooked.

Are you planning to add more content from other sources, or is it mostly finalised aside from fixes?

Only gripe (maybe a retail thing?), the Eclusion event discarding 4 cards regardless of contamination feels rough when you’ve worked hard to stay clean. Losing a key card like that, especially when you needed it next turn, stings - not in a fun, cinematic way like when an alien ruins those plans
