Prayerbooks & Scrolls (as well as Principia) are special items in Elden Ring that can be given to certain NPCs to purchase certain spells and incantations from them.

• All Prayerbooks (and Principia) can be given to Brother Corhyn.

• All Scrolls can be given to Sorceress Sellen or Preceptor Seluvis.

But the best choice is the DOG Miriel, Paster of Vows, as he accepts all these items without going anywhere, as he has no quest.
