Intro
This is a small guide to help people struggling with glass tony. This one is definitely the hardest supervisors to win with. It has a ton of RNG associated with it. A big credit to LemonJake10 for giving the general strat on how to go about this run.
Items
This will go through some of the items/conditions to look out for the run. Generally speaking you want items with conditions that wont activate often but have good pay offs.

"Every x seconds"
These were recommended by LemonJake. Items like Flamethrower, monstrosity, kazoo and Lobster Claw are very good in this run. I found Lobster Claw especially potent due to its low activation and high reward. I didn't really test out rubber chicken but it seemed to me that it activated too often for this run. I could be wrong though so tell me if any of you had some success with it.

"When Nubby dies"
These are Items like cheese house, sea cucumber, flaming skull, and inflatable dolphin. Some of these items are especially important early game as they will help you gain more money, most notably cheese house and sea cucumber. flaming skull and dolphins are the mains ones that will scale more later on. I didn't really try all seeing pyramid but it might be worth it. I don't know if the game considers it an activation every time it pops a peg.

"First peg popped"
These are items like uranium rod, happy seal, Poop Butt, and Yeti. Poop butt is really good early game similar to cheese house. 3D Glasses is a great find though its a lot rarer. I was able to get one in my run but it blew up the first round out of the store.

These three conditions are the most important to look for. "Every x seconds" items usually have the highest chances of blowing up out of all of them but they're the closest to striking that balance of not activating too often so as to blow up constantly but just enough to consistently pop/modify pegs.

Another condition that might have merit is "pass round goal", specifically, jacks and broken socket. I did not use jacks in my run but I did find myself using broken socket when the store did not have what I needed though I also sold it whenever something that fit the other conditions came along.

Upgrading can be dicey in this mode, specifically in the early to mid game. I would usually just buy another copy of an item as a backup or ice it to have a replacement later on. Some I did feel were worth the risk like cheesy house at round 30 so judge for yourself whether or not the risk is worth it.
Perks
This strat was mentioned by LemonJake and helped a ton. Because force triggering our items risks breaking them usually you want to avoid most perks at all cost. There is one perk that is the exception to this, that being the Mystery Box. One thing to note though is that In my completed run I never ran into the mystery box. That said it might be worth fishing for it in the claw machine.
Money
Money is one of the few mercies of this run, as not only are items less expensive, but so are foods at cafe Nubby. Its because of this that I found opening cafe nubby as soon as possible to be important. After doing so you can gorge yourself on strawberries and hotdog dogs. Strawberries are essentially free in this run as long you have 1 gold. Noodles can now dupe hotdogs dogs and plus as well. I found Pickle rats very useful later on for when you need to really roll for a specfic item and 3 rerolls are just not enough.

A funny thing about this mode is that some items actually sell for more than they cost. The main ones I noticed are pants and finger puppet. I was not able to use this strat that much as by the time I noticed it I was pretty much loaded with items but it is a good thing to note.
General Run
This will go through the general idea of how I would go about this run.

Early on I would focus on getting as much money as possible so I can open the cafe quickly. The main items I would be aiming for are cheesy house, sea cucumber, and poop butt. If you cannot find these squirmy and finger puppet can work as well, but they do have a higher risk of blowing up. I would save your black market key for later on in the run. Similar to pre 1.3 expiration date early black market can be quite risky as you're usually constantly rotating items. Saving it for say, round 65 is usually a safer bet. Jake the Snake and Toy fish are what I looked for when I went into the black market.

After I have gotten enough money I focused on getting/icing items that matched the conditions I mentioned in the item section while also eating a bunch of hotdog dogs and strawberries to keep my economy up. by round 30 cheesy house gets a second wind so I usually iced one when I got to round 20-25.

Later on has a lot to do with getting more of the preferred items so lots of pickle rats will be eaten. One thing I found to be very important in this run later on is the End Button.

End Button
If you hit the goal in a round or feel you wont make the goal and need to cut your losses hitting the "End" button can be very crucial as it lessens the risk of items blowing up from what I have found

The last thing I would suggest is

Pray
This run can be very RNG heavy. One round you think you got it down then out of nowhere all your items explode or an important item blows up and causes a cascade failure. its tough.
Conclusion
This supervisor should probably be reworked. I like the idea of it but 5% is too much. It either has to be way lower or have some kind of grace period for items where they cannot break for a certain amount of rounds. I originally wasn't going to do this supervisor as I thought it was impossible and it'd be best to wait for a rework but in the end I am glad that I did since this was the last supervisor/challenge I had not completed.

If any of you happen to have other strats for tackling this supervisor don't be afraid to share them and tell me if I missed anything.

Buying and selling Items for more money is a pretty great way to unlock the Cafe at the first available store. Knowing that made it way easier to get basically infinite money. Now i just need my Items not to break at inconvenient times in the lategame. The pain of having 3 Yetis only for them to explode in the course of two rounds. Many such cases.

The current best Glass Tony strat is to wait for the next patch to rework him

The Cubey Perk can be worthwhile (If you have 4 items or less, trigger the item in slot #4 4 times) since you can avoid triggering it unless you're in a tough spot.

Good point didnt think of using Lentil as a hail mary to try and turn things around

Would also like to add that lentil is a sleeper food. if you have nothing good going on and you are fighting with scraps lentil can get you crazy items like black market, rares and ultra rares.
