"Polish soldiers fighting in Italy during World War II, especially the 2nd Polish Corps led by General Władysław Anders, played a crucial role in the Italian campaign. Their greatest achievement was the capture of Monte Cassino in May 1944, which opened the way for the Allies to Rome. Despite difficult conditions and heavy losses, the Poles showed exceptional courage and determination, fighting for the freedom of their homeland and Europe.



In Company of Heroes 3, the British faction already consists of various sub-factions, so it seems quite natural to add a Polish battlegroup as well. I would like to present the concept for this battlegroup.

Left Tech Tree:

CP 0 – Alternative building featuring polish 6 man rifleman without upgrades (similar to Coastal Reserve or Volks), Polish 4 man infantry with bazooka , and an officer with artillery support (similar to US captian).
CP 2 – Tank repairs. Or Tank is capable of neutralizing capture points. Cannot capture.
CP 0 – Sherman tank available for construction in the final building.

Right Tech Tree:

CP 1 – Resource points can be upgraded with Resource Caches, and Strategic Points can be upgraded with Field Infirmaries. Reduces the cost of Resource Caches by 25%.
CP 1 – Fires recon flares into the target area, providing vision, revealing camouflaged enemies, and improving the accuracy of friendly infantry in the area. Alternatively, allows Royal Engineers to build Bofors and 17-pounder emplacements.
CP 3 – Temporarily deploys 2 Polish Riflemen and 1 Polish Bazooka squad at the target location OR CP 5 – Fires an off-map barrage of artillery shells at the target area.
