Introduction
This is my first guide on Steam, and I'll never write another one, so this is a space to hold any worthwhile information I find in early access of PPR.

A very good and seemingly dev-approved fanzine introducing you to the world of PPR can be found here[datasparrow.itch.io]. Please be generous with your name your price selection if possible. It's clear a lot of blood, sweat, and related secretions went into this.
The Price
It has come to my attention that only Amerifats pay 40.00 USD for this thing. That's what happens when your country descends into ♥♥♥♥-flinging kleptocratic fascism.
Getting Started
Forgive the lack of formatting and bells and whistles. This will be used as a place to deposit thoughts on PPREA, tips, some fun tidbits about Wilhelm Reich (to ensure my place in the book burning of '26), and generally try and keep some information handy about an otherwise very oblique experience. I'm partially writing this for myself, so "spoilers" are below and plentiful.

It's customary and right to select a character with the highest luck, so choose The Detective.

First things first, login to your computer. Can't find your password? Summon your little buddy by pressing O. Check your email and see if there's anything important there for you.

The Detective starts the game with a hacking tool. This can access security cameras, turrets, vending machines, other people's PCs, and probably more. Hacking is performed by using the VISUALIZE and HEX tabs to view different characters and trying to turn as many of them green as possible. Use the + and - keys to do this. You can access different terminals by changing the digit in the IP entry box. A messy visual representation of the terminals connected to a given router is displayed below. Pictures forthcoming. If anyone would like to provide some or has a more robust guide to hacking, let me know.

From any given terminal (in EFP), you can access loadout, character upgrades/Reichian Psychoanalysis, and Stalker upgrades and equipment store.

I'm not sure what levels or stats do yet. Some seem pretty self-explanatory. Luck/Lack might affect drop tables or other miscellaneous details.

Detective starts at level thirty and it seems like the only way to level up is by accessing the computer in Helmut's office. Levels cost somewhere around 5600, so I haven't bothered leveling up yet. Press R to interact with objects. Have you tried interacting with anyone else's computer? Try entering different values into the IP address to move around the EFP intranet.

You can barter with characters as long as you have items and they have money and don't hate you. Maverick Fighter will buy coke and booze from you for a decent price, and you should funnel that money immediately into the stock market. You can only make one transaction per day, so make it count. I bought into the whiskey company with 14 shares, and had two characters give me conflicting investment advice about it, so your mileage may vary. I made a few bucks off my trade the next day after selling all of my shares off.

Are you having difficulty finding a character? Try accessing your computer, checking database.exe and tracking them. It seems that one character dies if you don't act quickly enough. I don't know if it's significant, a bug, an accident, or I wasn't paying enough attention when I checked the screen the first time.

You can access your personal computer and trade stocks once a day by pressing ESC and then clicking into stockmarket.exe. Please remember you can only make one transaction per day. If anyone knows how to become a verified trader, please let us know.

After you check your computer, try tracking your idol, hero, and boss. But is he the real boss of the EFP? Try blowing his brains out to make sure.

Ask around the office about sodium lauryl sulfates. You will find a variety of opinions ranging from disinterested to maybe-concerned to RFK Jr. My leads stopped with Konrad and Elias (I don't like that guy), but maybe you will have better luck than me.

When you're ready to scoot around town in your EVA VASU, try moving downstairs to the garage and accessing what is likely your first extraction point. This is the only part of the game so far where you can manually save. You'll have to find other extraction points to save manually and fast travel.

"Scramble" is the button that fast-travels you to your location of choice. Right now there are two choices: Office and garage. They both seem to take you to the garage. Could be a bug, could be user error, could be a feature. My people have left a bug report for Kallio's people in a used copy of The Kalevala we've left in a quaint little thrift store in Helsinki. I'll let you know what I hear soon.

You should buy body armor and a helmet for yourself when you have the money. Try interacting with the computer in the garage. Don't forget to equip the gear you purchase. There are two bars in the garage interface - left represents your mech's load, right represents your own equipment load. The mech load can go over 100, and this is very easy to do if you purchase a new set of armor or frame for it. I'm assuming this affects its mobility. I have not exceeded eighty percent load on my player character. Shop is pretty self-explanatory. I am not sure what is or is not worth the money yet.

The weapons loadout screen is a bit confusing. From left to right, you have five weapons: Left Weapon on your mech, Right weapon on your mech, Auxiliary weapon (♥♥♥♥ gun) on the mech, and then your two weapons you carry on your "person". Spend your well-begotten gains on gear and equipment, and then you're ready to head out. Walk over to your Ford Crown Vic mech, press T to jump in, and space to fly into the exit. Shoot your weapons with the primary mouse buttons, free-aim with E, do an EFP-provided bump to take off 100 fatigue and add 25 temporary toxicity, and you're off to the races! Move into the exit to exit. Now you;re outside!

Did you die in three seconds? Good, me too.

Early Secrets, (Minor) Exploits, and Finds
There is a file room in EFP HQ. You can repeatedly gather documents to sell to NPCs in this room by opening doors to cabinets. These go for about 57 eddies a pop. If you use the document cabinets like a staircase, you can maneuver to the top of the shelves and find a firearms permit. I am suspecting this is essential for a later case. These documents respawn at least when you die, if not more often, like reloading the zone.

The ACTF has a holding cell in the EFP. There's a little airlock-style set of two doors where a character essentially tells you to ♥♥♥♥ off. I am not sure if you will have to interact with him later, but if you want early access to an automatic shotgun, you can shoot him twice in the head. Breaking into the cells proper is extremely tedious as a low level character and I haven't had any luck yet.

Make sure to talk to everyone and communicate with everyone on Y-Net. It will progress cases and reveal new cases. Don't miss the kangaroo fetishist on the lobby level.
Fun Quotes!
One cannot properly judge the effect of such sentences on the unconscious emotional life of the mass reader unless one knows the significance of the idea of castration as punishment for sexual wishes; the sex- psychological background of the phantasies of ritual murders and of antisemitism in general; and the magnitude of the sexual guilt feelings and the sexual anxiety of the reactionary individual. Here are the psychological roots of National Socialist antisemitism. Could this be called "just obfuscation of the masses"? True, it is obfuscation also. But the fact should not be overlooked that fascism, ideologically, is the revolt of a deathly sick society, sick sexually as well as economically. It is the revolt against the painful and forceful tendencies of revolutionary thinking in the direction of sexual as well as economic freedom. The very thought of this freedom makes the reactionary individual tremble with fear. The establishment of economic freedom of the working people goes hand in hand with the dissolution of the old institutions, especially the sexual ones, a process of which the reactionary individual is afraid. Specifically, the fear of "sexual freedom"—which in reactionary thinking is represented as "sexual chaos"—checks the longing for freedom from economic exploitation. This will be so as long, but only as long, as this idea of the sexual chaos prevails. It can continue to prevail only as long as these decisive problems remain unclarified in the masses. This is why sex-economy belongs in the center of any endeavor to regulate social conditions in general. The more extensive and the deeper the reactionary structure formation of the masses, the more decisive is the sex-economic work on the education of the masses in social responsibility.

how are you supposed to get through mech arenas? They pinpoint and eat through me in seconds, and it's really hard to hit them. Even after i bought most of the heaviest parts

When you get the mission from the dock bar to break the guy out of the cells, you can start off at the guard at the airlock, equip yourself with the orgen gun from the mech, good armour, and just peek and blast through

to break into the cells, break the window behind the accountant and go out that way, there is a hole you can drop down into the cells then you have to stealth your way through

i found with hacking in the later areas too where keypads are involved there seems to be more going on, idk if it needs a hackman 2 or if there’s a different way to do them
