Getting Started
Build
Right Click on Engineering Bay - open a build menu (make sure that all resource connectors connected to suitable storages, you can automatically do it by selecting Command Module and pressing "AutoConnect")
To deconstruct a modules, select the Engineering Bay, then right click on desired module.
Right Click on Cargo Bay - show content of cargo bay

Engines
WASD QE - movement
C - display and edit resource connections
F - show content of storages (it can be moved by drag and drop)
Some modules requires specific resources to work. For example maneuvering engines requires liquid hydrogen, so engines should be connected to fuel tanks.

Rocket engines requires two types of fuel. Both oxygen and hydrogen.

Power
The power systems works with similar way. Solar Panels should be conencted to Power Storage. Mining Laser, Radar or Fuel Generator also should be connected to Power Storage.

How to get Fuel
Simple Hydrogen and Oxygen can be a fuel for rocket engines. Water (Ice) can be splitted into those two elements, so first you need to get Ice from asteroids.

In order to extract resources from asteroid, you need an empty ore container and mining laser which is connected to power storage. Mining laser will automatically load extracted resources into available containers.

Then you need to build Fuel Generator which should be connected as at the picture below.

Make note that when the game starts you don't have enough parts for Fuel Generator, so first you need to get other resources such as Iron and Titanium in order to build it.

Weapons
All weapons are placed only on turrets, so build it first, then just attach desired weapon.
You can activate turrets and weapons by setting custom hotkey.

Fleet
Additional ships can be built with the "New Ship" button in the left-bottom corner of the screen. To switch control between them, zoom out until icon appears and click on it.
Ships can be docked together by using docking port in order to transfer resources between them.

Food
At the version 0.671, it is unfinished feature, the only way to get it - enable sandbox mode in options, then open sandbox tools, select cargo bay and press "Add Food".

Yes, we realize that tutorial is important, but as we said before, while the game changing so dramatically, any tutorial will be outdated pretty fast. Even this guide become outdated. So we will definitely will add good tutorial, but later, at alpha stage.

Fortunately community members help us to make another relevant guides.

Now this guide is marked as outdated.
Refer to this guide for relevant information.

This is not very helpful. There needs to be a more up to date video. This game has a lot of potential, but until an in game tutorial is added, the potential is wasted. The devs should take a step back and get an in game tutuorial up and running, otherwise people are going to buy this game, get overwhelmed, and get steam to give them their money back.
