How to host LAN server

Perhaps the easiest and stupidest way to host a LAN server, found accidentaly, yet it works for me, so you might wanna try it.

Hosting LAN Server

Since me and my friend group mostly play self-hosted scenarios in Arma 3, we've tried to host LAN server in Reforger to no avail due to poor netcode of this game. Trying to solve this problem, that being "kick cause code: group=1 'replication', reason=3 'connection_failure'", I've scouted the internet, only to stumble upon videos explaining how to port forward and setup a dedicated server, which is not an option for us, but through trial and error I've figured out how to actually host a LAN server

To host local server you have to follow these steps, they will help you to circumvent connection errors

1. Install and launch LAN network emulator of your choice (Radmin VPN, Hamachi, ZeroTier or any other)
   
2. Launch Arma Reforger
   
3. Go to prefered scenario and press Host
   
4. In the Additional Settings tab, the option "Local Hosting" has to be turned off
   
5. Write in your emulated IP into Public IP Adress box, leave the ports unchanged
   
6. Wrtie in your emulated IP into Bind IP Adress box, leave the ports unchanged
   
7. Press Host

That's right, and as you said, we tried changing the program, specifically to RadminVPN and it works for one of my friends who couldn't get Hamachi to work. But now, the one who was fine with Hamachi can't get Radmin to work hahaha. It's funny but also a bit frustrating. We're still trying to fix it or figure out the issue. If we manage to solve it, I might post the solution here so it can help anyone else who has a similar problem xd

relayed tunnel issue comes from the hamachi not being able to connect directly (most likely a firewall issue), and solving that required port-forwarding, so i can only propose swapping hamachi to radmin or zerotier

Столкнулся с такой проблемой, 2 минуты локальный сервер ( с и без модов) работает хорошо, потом пинг 999 и он вылетает, работает в обе стороны, и когда я хост, и когда друг, мы из разных регионов, но в любой другой игре наш обычный пинг от 70 до 150...

I have a problem: 2 minutes local server (with and without mods) works well, then ping 999 and it crashes, works in both directions, and when I am the host, and when a friend, so maybe somebody know a solution?
