Guide to Horse Breeding

A fairly simple guide to breeding horses in Ranch of Rivershine!

Step One!

Okay, the first thing you want is the horses! Obviously, you get one at the beginning of the game. But for breeding, you need two. You'll have to do races for three days which should get you enough to buy another horse! This step is pretty easy, but just in case, here's it explained more simply. You get the first horse you need at the beginning of the game. Since you had to spend money on that horse, you'll have to do at least three races to get enough in-game currency for another horse. Important Note : Make SURE the second horse you buy isn't the same gender as the first one. And also, it would be best for the mare or the stallion (either or both) to have the fertile trait, so that the mare being pregnant is GUARANTEED!!!
If you've completed step one, you might have a few left-over coins for the next step!

Step Two!

This step is the hardest. Okay, so, to breed your horses you need the Fertility Pasture. After unlocking Pine Forest, Liam *npc that lives there* should send you some mail about the pasture. However, as you wait for that, start saving! Try to do at least two to three races every day. I don't know how much it costs, so get as much as you can and SAVE. It will take a while, but it gets you infinite free horses, so it's worth it. (also, if anybody in the comment sections remembers how much it costs, please let me know!) The best amount to try and get to for this project will be 12 to 11 thousand- sounds like a LOT of work, but you get one thousand from each race. You can do it!

Last Step!

Okay, if you have two horses and the Fertility Pasture, you're all done! Just shove your two horses in there and wait. Tell me- was it worth it to you? Alright, well, you do have to sleep for the mare to be pregnant, so, go ahead and do that.
