Wanted to write yesterday, but since I was woken up earlier than scheduled, and being the only one from the repair crew, I'm behind on my daily reports.

It's strange, but there are almost no people in the complex. Apparently, something went really wrong.

Though, it's even better this way. No one is breathing down your neck, as Jeff always did, and no one is rushing you.

Starting to get used to loneliness. There's not much work to do, and without any oversight, I've figured out where to score some free food that used to be reserved only for the officers.

It seems I've gained a bit of weight...

Oh, almost forgot. Lately, I've been hearing some kind of signal, almost at the same time every day, and I can't figure out what it means.

What happened today is beyond any explanation!  

Where to begin...  
I met Grylls, a security officer, and we were hiding...

It sounds strange, but we saw one of those sex botties and heard gunfire.  

Grylls said that if we don't find a safe place, we probably won't make it out.

Grylls told me about the Signal. It turns out that every time we hear it, they release that botty, and she just goes around killing everyone she sees.  

What's the point? Is this some kind of TV show or what?  

We synergized with Grylls. He knows how to survive, and I know all the tunnel layouts. We can just find detours and avoid being seen by her.

I haven't written in a few days.  

We found other survivors and joined forces with them. Together, we set a trap for that ♥♥♥♥♥, watched her for a couple of days, and figured out that she follows the same route every time.  

We crawled into the ventilation shafts and waited until she came into the pressure control room, where the "Arena" is now, and then we attacked.  

She took out a few of ours, but we killed her for good! If only we had weapons, we could have done this much earlier.

But finally, I can sleep peacefully, no more hiding.

Specimen HD-512 (female) was recovered from the wreckage of shuttle <serial number classified> at the runway of <location classified> after the crash. The condition of the specimen upon admission is assessed as critical.

Wallace,

I am compelled to contact you regarding the extremely concerning situation that has developed within the complex over the past few months. I fully support the ban on contact with the surface, but without the possibility of personnel rotation, the condition of our staff continues to deteriorate.

Every day, the number of employees seeking assistance from the medical service with symptoms of the first and second stages of entromutation keeps rising. This week alone, there are 27 individuals. And this is only those who have decided to come forward. We have no way of knowing how many are still hiding their symptoms out of fear of repercussions.

The medical wards are overflowing. We are forced to place people in the corridors and in test subject chambers. Basic medications are running low, we are facing shortages of saline solution. At this rate, in a month we will have to close our doors to new patients, and in six months, we will all become patients ourselves. We have no cure for entropy.

We need urgent measures, Wallace. I don’t know what to do in this situation or how to help you resolve it, but we need a solution as desperately as we need air. Otherwise, a horrible end awaits us all. And it is already in sight.

Personal Diary, Entry 001

On the recommendation of the psychologist, we were instructed to keep personal diaries and record our thoughts, supposedly to positively influence our psychological resilience in stressful situations. Well, sure, this will really help us when who knows what is happening outside, and we’re trying to pretend that nothing has changed. Let’s see what other ideas these corporate rats come up with to simulate busy activity.

In any case, I need to keep an eye on the indicators. Not the most exciting part, but everything has to work like clockwork, especially now when it’s unknown what awaits us next.

I hope to read some old records or watch a movie in the evening. Just to remember what we lost on the other side of the airlock.

Shift 3. Day 12

Today is a new day of the shift. I’ve already gotten used to it. For some reason, others complain, but what do I care? Just do what the Machine says, and you’re all set. And if you work really well, they say you can get into the Laboratories. The work is easy there, but the pay is good. That would be great!

It’s a pity that no one returns from there. Many of my friends were transferred. They probably got full of themselves. Who knows? But it’s okay, the main thing is not to get discouraged! The Machine knows what it’s doing. It always watches over us and takes care of us. Just do what you’re supposed to and don’t ask unnecessary questions.

I hope I’ll be transferred soon too!

Shift 3. Day 30

Today is the last day of my shift, and to be honest, I really tried hard. I was hoping that I would also be transferred to the Laboratories, but instead, Lyman was. It's strange, why is that? He has the lowest KPI among us! How is that possible?

But I can't be upset with the Machine. It is wise, and it has its reasons. I just need to put in more effort next time. Maybe I need to focus more on what I'm doing and not get distracted by little things. Right now, the main thing is to make sure everything is working and leave the complex in the best shape for the next shift.

Although it's a pity that Lyman was transferred. It was fun to play cards with him, even though he always won.

Shift 4. Day 1

Today is the first day of my new shift, and I happily return to duty. But, to be honest, I was shocked by how much everything has changed. Everything has been rebuilt, and I hardly recognize this place. The Machine has really put in a lot of effort. I wonder what new things await us?

I noticed that there are no previous records left. The last shift must have really messed up. It's strange, but I can't figure out what the date is now. It no longer appears on the terminals. How much time has passed?

Also, it seems that Kovalev has disappeared too. He must have been transferred while I was in stasis. Well, now I’m on duty alone. On one hand, it's a bit frightening, but on the other hand, it's actually good. This means that this time I definitely have a chance to get into the Laboratories. And since I'm alone now, I can relax a little.

Today is the 53rd day of my shift, and I can't contain my joy — I just received a notification from the Machine that I am finally being transferred to the Laboratories! At last, my efforts have been justly recognized. I am so happy!

I can only imagine what it will be like to meet all my friends there, Kovalev and Lyman. We will discuss everything that has happened and share our impressions. As for the others, let them stay here and work, the losers. I know I did everything right, and now a new life awaits me.

The main thing is to quickly gather all my stuff. I mustn't forget anything. I won't be coming back here. And, of course, I need to be careful on the way. I really don't want to run into "her" right now.
