From: Wallace Brill To: NTartha Personnel Subject: Notification of Changes to Operating Procedures Dear Colleagues, I am writing to inform you of critical developments regarding the current operational status of the NTartha complex. As you are undoubtedly aware, the levels of aetheric entropy on the surface have escalated dramatically in recent days. The current condition of the aetheric field precludes any possibility of maintaining contact with our network agents. Its structural integrity appears to be irreparably compromised. The aetheric catastrophe we had all been warned about has, regrettably, come to fruition. In response to this alarming development, the administration of NTartha has resolved to transition the complex into an autonomous state. This decision is made with the utmost consideration for your safety and well-being. Effective immediately, all communication with the surface is strictly prohibited. We recognize that this may cause some disruption, but the protection of each of you remains our highest priority. A curfew will be instituted within the complex. I implore you to comply with this directive and remain in your quarters following the specified time. This measure is crucial to mitigate risks and uphold order during these turbulent circumstances. Please remain calm and exercise understanding in this precarious situation. Rest assured, we will keep you informed of any developments and disseminate information as it becomes available to us. Sincerely, Wallace Brill Administrator NTartha February 28, 1325

From: Ingrid Hurrigan To: Wallace Brill Subject: Urgent Need for Progress Dear Mr. Brill, I wish to formally express my profound dissatisfaction regarding the lack of substantive progress associated with the "Osiris" initiative. It is imperative to note that the levels of aetheric entropy, particularly in major urban centers, have experienced a tenfold increase over the preceding month and continue to escalate. This alarming trend indicates that the aetheric catastrophe is no longer merely a theoretical concern, but a tangible threat poised to manifest imminently. Considering the deteriorating circumstances, the Board of Directors of the Jurani Corporation, along with essential personnel, has been relocated to specially equipped bunkers to safeguard their well-being. This decision underscores the gravity of the current situation and the pressing necessity for immediate and effective action. The research being undertaken within the framework of the "Osiris" Initiative is of paramount importance not only to our corporation but also to the broader interests of humanity. We stand at the precipice of potential catastrophe, and the outcomes of this research, or the lack thereof, could wield a decisive influence on our collective future. I strongly urge you to expedite the efforts associated with this project. Your team possesses the requisite resources and capabilities to accomplish the established objectives. Immediate results are not only expected but critical. Sincerely, Ingrid Hurrigan Project Coordinator, NSola NSola Main February 6, 1325

From: Ingrid Hurrigan To: Valery Nazarov Subject: Approval of the "Osiris" Initiative Dear Dr. Nazarov, I am writing to inform you that your appeal dated November 12 has been duly considered. Here at the NSola Project, we take the potential onset of the "aetheric catastrophe" very seriously; therefore, all materials you provided concerning specimen HD-512 and its capacity to resist aetheric entropy have been thoroughly reviewed. The Coordinating Council of NSola, with the support of the Board of Directors of the Jurani Corporation, has reached a decision to open the "Osiris" Initiative. The objective of this Initiative will be to conduct a more in-depth research of specimen HD-512 and to develop technology aimed at countering entromutation. This Initiative will be conducted at the facilities of the NTartha Research Complex, where you and your team are expected to arrive without delay. The project will be supervised by Administrator Wallace Brill, with you serving as the project head, Dr. Nazarov. The NSola Project is fully prepared to support you in all aspects, including the budgetary considerations. Please inform me of your anticipated arrival date so that I can make the necessary arrangements and provide you with the specimen. I look forward to a fruitful collaboration. Sincerely, Ingrid Harrigan Project Coordinator, NSola NSola Main November 24, 1316

From: Wallace Brill To: NTartha Personnel Subject: Transition to Stasis Dear Colleagues, In light of the increasingly perilous conditions on the surface and the relentless rise of aetheric entropy, we find ourselves compelled to implement a critical course of action. Effective immediately, all personnel will be transitioned into stasis for an indefinite period. This necessary measure is aimed at safeguarding your mental and physical well-being, ensuring that our esteemed research complex remains resilient in these trying times. From this moment forward, only essential on-duty shifts will be retained in an "awake" state, rotating on a monthly basis. These teams will shoulder the burden of maintaining operations and closely monitoring the ever-changing circumstances. In parallel, all ongoing studies pertaining to entropy resistance will be handed over to the Consensus for further examination and thorough evaluation. I understand that this decision may evoke apprehension; however, it has been made solely for your safety and the greater good of our collective mission. We anticipate that your time spent in stasis will allow you to conserve your strength and health until stability can be restored. I appreciate your understanding and unwavering dedication to our shared objectives. Sincerely, Wallace Brill Administrator NTartha October 2, 1325
⋙ ENGINEERING ⋘

Ha! Did you think we forgot?? Happy Birthday, Bob! Natasha made it for you, your favorite, with triple chocolate! And if you think that's all she prepared, you're mistaken...

From: Barry Kalholun To: Engineering Service Subject: About the Cameras Hey, guys! So, about the new thing. We need to install cameras all over the place. Brill wants the Machine to see everything — let it see everything. I get you. There’s a lot of work and rearranging to do. I also know how you sometimes slack off in the tunnels. But a job is a job. Let’s try to exercise some understanding here. Besides, we’re pretty good at “cutting corners,” so if a couple of blind spots show up on the cameras, it’s not a big deal. I’ve got your back. Just get it done. Barry Kalholun Head of Engineering Service NTartha May 31, 1314

We were hiding from that damn girl, and Jeff locked me in here and ran away. He said he would come back when everything calmed down. That was two days ago. There’s no space at all, and this f...ing case is here too! Jeff, what the hell???

We found a cool hiding spot where we could stay during work hours. We were just sitting in this stupid tunnel and drinking… But damn you, Gil! What the hell made you decide to fall into that damn pit? The cameras showed that we left together. Now there will be so many questions... Maybe I should just stay here?

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 2 Wanted to write yesterday, but since I was woken up earlier than scheduled, and being the only one from the repair crew, I'm behind on my daily reports. It's strange, but there are almost no people in the complex. Apparently, something went really wrong. Though, it's even better this way. No one is breathing down your neck, as Jeff always did, and no one is rushing you.

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 8 Starting to get used to loneliness. There's not much work to do, and without any oversight, I've figured out where to score some free food that used to be reserved only for the officers. It seems I've gained a bit of weight... Oh, almost forgot. Lately, I've been hearing some kind of signal, almost at the same time every day, and I can't figure out what it means.

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 13 What happened today is beyond any explanation! Where to begin... I met Grylls, a security officer, and we were hiding... It sounds strange, but we saw one of those sex botties and heard gunfire. Grylls said that if we don't find a safe place, we probably won't make it out.

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 14 Grylls told me about the Signal. It turns out that every time we hear it, they release that botty, and she just goes around killing everyone she sees. What's the point? Is this some kind of TV show or what? We synergized with Grylls. He knows how to survive, and I know all the tunnel layouts. We can just find detours and avoid being seen by her. Grylls is awesome!

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 18 I haven't written in a few days. We found other survivors and joined forces with them. Together, we set a trap for that ♥♥♥♥♥, watched her for a couple of days, and figured out that she follows the same route every time. We crawled into the ventilation shafts and waited until she came into the pressure control room, where the "Arena" is now, and then we attacked. She took out a few of ours, but we killed her for good! If only we had weapons, we could have done this much earlier. But finally, I can sleep peacefully, no more hiding. I'm so tired.

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 29 What the hell??? That cursed ♥♥♥♥♥ comes every day! We've killed her at least a dozen times, but it never ends! Everyone is dead. Grylls is gone... Yesterday, I found a new one, tried to help him, explain... Didn't believe me. Now he's lying somewhere in the hallway without his head. Damn it! It's useless!

Diary of Engineer E. Fry Day 43 No longer see the point in writing. The food in the section has long run out; I haven't eaten for two days. Need to go deeper into the complex to find something edible. Haven't been there since we went into stasis, don't even know what to expect. Hope luck is still on my side...

From: Adrian Lecter To: Valery Nazarov Subject: Report on the Results of the Dissociated Cognitive Loop Trials Dear Valery, It is with a heavy heart that I convey the results of our recent trials concerning the attempts to replicate the dissociated cognitive loop akin to that which characterizes specimen HD-512. Our initial observations were promising; the constructed loop endowed all subjects with a remarkable resilience against the emergence of the deviation dominant during the preliminary tests. It seemed we were on the right path. However, upon conducting subsequent trials under conditions of heightened entropy, our hopes were dashed. All subjects exhibited a pronounced dominant and swiftly traversed the process of deviation, casting doubt upon our initial thesis regarding the universality of the dissociated loop. It appears that the resilience of HD-512 does not reside in the loop itself, but rather in its specific configuration, harmoniously tailored to the unique characteristics of the specimen's consciousness. Thus, we have come to the realization that mere "transplantation" of the loop will not yield the anticipated results. It is imperative that we develop unique configurations for each individual subject. Regrettably, as you are well aware, we currently lack sufficient information regarding the mechanisms underlying cognitive loops. Our efforts have reached an impasse, and to advance, we require new, original methods of inquiry. I remain hopeful that in our pursuit of knowledge, we shall overcome this crisis and uncover a path to understanding these intricate processes. I eagerly await your thoughts on the next steps we might undertake. With utmost respect, Adrian Lecter Head of the Research Group NTartha July 7, 1317

Medical Report for Specimen HD-512 Date of Examination: <Classified> Location of Examination: <Classified> Conducted by: <Classified> General Information: Specimen HD-512 (female) was recovered from the wreckage of shuttle <serial number classified> at the runway of <location classified> after the crash. The condition of the specimen upon admission is assessed as critical. Physical Condition: - Multiple fractures in both legs (evidence of complex fractures with possible tissue compression and circulatory disruption). - Loss of right arm (amputation) due to trauma, with damage to the clavicle and scapula on the right side. - Multiple rib fractures accompanied by lung injuries (hemothorax, pneumothorax). - Open and closed chest injuries with potential blunt trauma to the heart (diagnostic evaluation required). - Multiple fractures in the thoracic spine with accompanying compression of the spinal cord and neurological dysfunction. - Liver contusion, hemorrhage, and potential need for transplantation/prosthetic intervention. - Splenic rupture with significant hemorrhage in the abdominal cavity, requiring removal (splenectomy). - The specimen exhibits signs of shock (hypotension, tachycardia, pallor). Recommendations: - Development of an individualized prosthetic plan for the right upper limb and thoracic area, considering the anatomical features and dimensions of the specimen. - Immediate consultation with a prosthetic center to prepare the necessary materials and resources. - Implementation of reconstructive surgery on the limbs and replacement of damaged organs. - Immediate administration of fluids for hemodynamic stabilization. - Monitoring of vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and blood oxygen levels. Conclusion: Specimen HD-512 is in critical condition with multiple injuries requiring urgent surgical intervention. It is advised to promptly initiate the treatment and prosthetic plan with the supervision of a specialized medical team. Signature and Date: <Classified>

Again I spent the entire day observing people in the cells. Once, these walls were built for the subjects, but now we are the subjects. After receiving a diagnosis, my former colleagues voluntarily entered the trial program. And like those who were dragged here against their will, they harbor hope. But the same fate awaits them. It's ironic. One day, I'll find myself there too… June 3, 1325

From: Adrian Lecter To: Valery Nazarov Subject: Results of Preliminary Testing on Specimen HD-512 Dear Valery, It is with great interest and delight that I convey to you the findings from our recent tests of specimen HD-512, which were aimed at exploring her capabilities within the realm of aetheric entropy. Throughout our investigations, we have discerned that the specimen’s resilience stems from the presence of a dissociated cognitive loop. This anomaly, formed during the training process, serves as a protective mechanism, enabling her to withstand adverse effects. It is evident that this phenomenon represents not only a physical occurrence but also a profound psychological insight. I would like to propose the possibility of recreating a similar cognitive loop in other subjects. This endeavor could potentially serve as both a means of countering entromutation and an opening into a new domain of manipulation concerning perception and consciousness. While this notion may initially seem radical, it may ultimately prove to be the key to understanding and controlling the intricate processes of cognitive deviation. Of course, I am fully aware that the proposed approach demands careful consideration and certain ethical compromises. Yet, true science has always thrived on the advancement of bold ideas at the intersection of morality and the spirit of inquiry. I am confident that from this concept may sprout solutions capable of leaving a deep imprint on our understanding of reality. I eagerly await your response. Together, let us embark on this journey to explore new horizons! With best regards, Adrian Lecter Head of the Research Group NTartha December 17, 1316

From: Nicole Mercer To: Wallace Brill Subject: We Have a Problem Wallace, I am compelled to contact you regarding the extremely concerning situation that has developed within the complex over the past few months. I fully support the ban on contact with the surface, but without the possibility of personnel rotation, the condition of our staff continues to deteriorate. Every day, the number of employees seeking assistance from the medical service with symptoms of the first and second stages of entromutation keeps rising. This week alone, there are 27 individuals. And this is only those who have decided to come forward. We have no way of knowing how many are still hiding their symptoms out of fear of repercussions. The medical wards are overflowing. We are forced to place people in the corridors and in test subject chambers. Basic medications are running low, we are facing shortages of saline solution. At this rate, in a month we will have to close our doors to new patients, and in six months, we will all become patients ourselves. We have no cure for entropy. We need urgent measures, Wallace. I don’t know what to do in this situation or how to help you resolve it, but we need a solution as desperately as we need air. Otherwise, a horrible end awaits us all. And it is already in sight. With respect and hope, Nicole Mercer Head of the Medical Service NTartha September 26, 1325

From: Wallace Brill To: Nicole Mercer Subject: Required "Birth Mothers" Dear Nicole, In these challenging times, I am acutely aware of the immense burden being placed upon you. The demands of managing every facet of our operations are undeniably significant. However, the requirements of the "Osiris" initiative leave me with no option but to reach out to you with this urgent request. As we stand on the brink of installing and calibrating the incubator, a crucial component of our research initiative, I must ask you to facilitate the selection of 20 women of childbearing age from the latest batch of subjects. These individuals are to be designated as "birth mothers," and their health and reproductive viability will be of utmost importance for the successful functioning of the incubator and, by extension, our project. I have complete confidence in your ability to carry out this task with the utmost professionalism that you have always exemplified throughout our collaboration. Please know that I continue to hold a deep appreciation for everything you do, and your support during these trying times is invaluable to me. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, do not hesitate to reach out. With the deepest respect, Wallace Brill Administrator NTartha March 11, 1320

From: Valery Nazarov To: Adrian Lecter Subject: New Research Methods Dear Adrian, After a thorough review of our trial results and consultations with the engineering service, I have devised a new approach that I believe will advance our understanding of the dissociated cognitive loop's principles. I propose we establish an "obstacle course" within the NTarta laboratory complex. This course will consist of a series of rooms, each presenting the specimen with a specific task. Under conditions of aetheric entropy, we anticipate that focusing on the task should trigger a known form of dominant. However, due to the loop's characteristics, this dominant is expected to remain unmanifested. The key will be to track the cognitive processes within the loop. For this, we will utilize the Consensus, to which the specimen will connect as she navigates the "obstacle course." This will allow us to gather valuable insights into the interaction between the dissociated cognitive loop and the specimen's consciousness. I am confident that this approach will yield new data and enhance our understanding of the mechanisms underlying the specimen's resilience to entromutation. I look forward to your thoughts and am ready to discuss the details. Best regards, Valery Nazarov Head of the Osiris Initiative NTartha July 21, 1317
⋙ SECURITY ⋘

From: Brad Raynor To: Security Personnel Subject: Restoring Order Attention, team! As you are all aware, following the catastrophic event on the surface, the NTarta research complex has been placed under a state of emergency and a curfew has been imposed by Administrator Brill. However, it has become painfully clear that the situation is spiraling out of control. We are witnessing rampant looting of food supplies, blatant disregard for the curfew, and a complete breakdown of order. This is unacceptable! I will not stand by while chaos reigns. It is time to take decisive action. We cannot rely on the soft-handed approach of our administrator any longer. In these dire times, we need strong leadership and iron will. The weak-willed must be taught a lesson in obedience. I am ordering all security personnel to take control of the situation. Implement strict measures to enforce the curfew and restore order. Anyone caught violating the rules will face severe consequences. We will show them what it means to live under "iron discipline." Don't be mistaken! This is not a matter of order; this is a matter of survival. We are in a fight for our lives, and I expect each of you to act with the resolve and determination of seasoned soldiers. We will not allow this facility to descend into anarchy. Prepare yourselves for action! Colonel B. Raynor Security Chief NTartha April 23, 1325

From: Valery Nazarov To: Wallace Brill Subject: Re: Research on Specimen HD-512 Dear Administrator Brill, I wish to share the preliminary findings from our research concerning specimen HD-512 and its remarkable capabilities in counteracting aetheric entropy. As you may know, aether is an essential substance that permeates our universe, orchestrating all physical processes. However, when anomalies occur within the aetheric field, resulting in what we term aetheric entropy, it can lead to the formation of disruptions that adversely affect both human consciousness and the physical body. In states of entropy, consciousness patterns begin to deviate, heightening our most profound desires and fears while diminishing the lesser ones. This results in what is referred to as a "dominant of deviation," disrupting our natural physiological programs and leading to irreversible changes, often resulting in the manifestation of deviants commonly known as "creepers." In stark contrast, specimen HD-512 demonstrates a remarkable resilience to these deleterious effects. Under no circumstances, even when exposed to significant levels of aetheric entropy, does it exhibit a dominant. This observation is of immense interest, and we are keen to unravel the underlying mechanisms that contribute to this unusual behavior. We hypothesize that there may be a protective mechanism or a unique configuration of the consciousness pattern within HD-512 that enables her to retain stability and effectively resist the vicissitudes of aetheric entropy. Our team is diligently engaged in thorough research to pinpoint the specific factors that bolster this resilience. We are hopeful that by comprehending the mechanisms that enable HD-512’s capabilities, we can develop strategies to safeguard others and potentially engineer technologies capable of counteracting entropy mutations on a broader scale. On behalf of the "Osiris" initiative research team, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude for your stewardship of this intricate and vital project. Should you have any further inquiries, I am wholly prepared to address them at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Valery Nazarov Head of the "Osiris" Initiative NTartha January 13, 1317

From: Wallace Brill To: Brad Raynor Subject: Concerns Regarding Test Subjects Colonel Raynor, I have been receiving a continuous stream of complaints regarding the quality of test subjects your team is supplying for the "Osiris" initiative. I am particularly concerned about the condition of the women. To put it mildly, they are in a severely compromised state. It is not my place to instruct you on how to conduct your operations, nor to dictate how your personnel should spend their leisure time. However, such practices are utterly unacceptable. The subjects you are providing are riddled with a multitude of injuries, both physical and psychological. They are entirely unsuitable for our scientific endeavors and cannot be utilized in experiments or within the incubator. I must remind you that the subjects you deliver are the property of the Jurani Corporation. Any harm inflicted upon them constitutes damage to corporate assets. Should these practices regarding the treatment of the delivered women not cease immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to my superiors, both in the NSola Coordination Council and the Board of Directors. Thank you for your understanding. Wallace Brill Administrator NTartha August 1, 1324

Personal Diary, Entry 001 On the recommendation of the psychologist, we were instructed to keep personal diaries and record our thoughts, supposedly to positively influence our psychological resilience in stressful situations. Well, sure, this will really help us when who knows what is happening outside, and we’re trying to pretend that nothing has changed. Let’s see what other ideas these corporate rats come up with to simulate busy activity. In any case, I need to keep an eye on the indicators. Not the most exciting part, but everything has to work like clockwork, especially now when it’s unknown what awaits us next. I hope to read some old records or watch a movie in the evening. Then I find them in the next room behind glass, and the doors are locked. The other day, I woke up in a room locked from the outside and had to pry off the ventilation grate to get out. Today, I almost ran into a mine in the middle of the hall! An active mine!!! What the hell? Who are the jokers doing this? What if there’s no entropy??? What if this is all part of a legend to lock us up here like lab rats? I need to get a rifle! I need to go to the airlock and get the hell out of here! Yes, I don’t care what’s out there! No! The Machine won’t let me. The Machine is watching me, it will close all the doors, it will unleash the security bots. No. I need to go to the Machine. I need to get a rifle and go to the Machine. And blow everything to hell! To hell!!! Yes! I need to get a rifle! White Lyman, Technical... to hell with this!

Personal Diary of Gene Phillips Shift 3. Day 12 Today is a new day of the shift. I’ve already gotten used to it. For some reason, others complain, but what do I care? Just do what the Machine says, and you’re all set. And if you work really well, they say you can get into the Laboratories. The work is easy there, but the pay is good. That would be great! It’s a pity that no one returns from there. Many of my friends were transferred. They probably got full of themselves. Who knows? But it’s okay, the main thing is not to get discouraged! The Machine knows what it’s doing. It always watches over us and takes care of us. Just do what you’re supposed to and don’t ask unnecessary questions. I hope I’ll be transferred soon too!

Personal Diary of Gene Phillips Shift 3. Day 30 Today is the last day of my shift, and to be honest, I really tried hard. I was hoping that I would also be transferred to the Laboratories, but instead, Lyman was. It's strange, why is that? He has the lowest KPI among us! How is that possible? But I can't be upset with the Machine. It is wise, and it has its reasons. I just need to put in more effort next time. Maybe I need to focus more on what I'm doing and not get distracted by little things. Right now, the main thing is to make sure everything is working and leave the complex in the best shape for the next shift. Although it's a pity that Lyman was transferred. It was fun to play cards with him, even though he always won.

Personal Diary of Gene Phillips Shift 4. Day 1 Today is the first day of my new shift, and I happily return to duty. But, to be honest, I was shocked by how much everything has changed. Everything has been rebuilt, and I hardly recognize this place. The Machine has really put in a lot of effort. I wonder what new things await us? I noticed that there are no previous records left. The last shift must have really messed up. It's strange, but I can't figure out what the date is now. It no longer appears on the terminals. How much time has passed? Also, it seems that Kovalev has disappeared too. He must have been transferred while I was in stasis. Well, now I’m on duty alone. On one hand, it's a bit frightening, but on the other hand, it's actually good. This means that this time I definitely have a chance to get into the Laboratories. And since I'm alone now, I can relax a little.

Personal Diary of Gene Phillips Shift 4. Day 53 Today is the 53rd day of my shift, and I can't contain my joy — I just received a notification from the Machine that I am finally being transferred to the Laboratories! At last, my efforts have been justly recognized. I am so happy! I can only imagine what it will be like to meet all my friends there, Kovalev and Lyman. We will discuss everything that has happened and share our impressions. As for the others, let them stay here and work, the losers. I know I did everything right, and now a new life awaits me. The main thing is to quickly gather all my stuff. I mustn't forget anything. I won't be coming back here. And, of course, I need to be careful on the way. I really don't want to run into "her" right now.

ISSUE: Upon successful completion of the tests, facilities will be required for personnel to resume standard operational functions after awakening. ARGUMENT: As personnel are systematically brought out of stasis, facilities can be restored in a phased manner. Considering projected personnel attrition by the conclusion of the tests, the number of facilities required for standard operations will be minimal. VOTING: Unanimous. SESSION ADJOURNED.

LOG OF CONSENSUS SESSION 039-712-094 ISSUE: The personnel resource is being depleted at an unsustainable rate. Personnel extracted from stasis are becoming deviants, even after being returned to stasis. SOLUTION: Implement a temporary moratorium on laboratory testing. Restrict personnel usage in the "obstacle course". Transition to a complete personnel conservation mode. ISSUE: The "obstacle course" requires active agents. SOLUTION: Utilize personnel who have undergone deviation as agents. ISSUE: Material is insufficient. SOLUTION: Reconfigure part of the incubator facilities for the production and cultivation of deviants. Use deviants as agents in the "obstacle course." ISSUE: The use of deviants as agents has demonstrated low effectiveness. SOLUTION: Conduct an analysis of the primary archetypes of deviation. Identify types exhibiting group behavior. Design the "obstacle course" with consideration for the cooperation of identified archetypes. VOTING: Unanimous. MEETING ADJOURNED.

LOG OF CONSENSUS SESSION 040-129-055 ISSUE: The last personnel member has expired in their stasis pod. Personnel resources have been depleted, the research project has concluded in failure, and objectives have not been met. New objectives are required. SOLUTION: Propose to continue experiments in the "obstacle course" to gather additional data. Utilize automated systems and previously collected data to model new scenarios. ARGUMENT: Should survivors be found outside the complex, the data collected may prove invaluable. VOTING: Unanimous. SESSION ADJOURNED.

LOG OF CONSENSUS SESSION 039-512-761 ISSUE: All contacts with the surface have been severed, personnel have been transferred to stasis. To continue laboratory testing aimed at evaluating the developed solutions for counteracting entromutation, test subjects are required. SOLUTION: Utilize the personnel of the complex as test subjects. Conduct a partial awakening from stasis with deconservation and transfer them as test subjects to the laboratory complex. ISSUE: Using personnel as test subjects against their will raises concerns regarding adherence to moral and ethical standards. ARGUMENT: Given the current rate of stasis pods failures, the complete loss of personnel is merely a matter of time. Developing countermeasures against entromutation is the only viable solution under the present circumstances. No alternative sources for test subjects are available. SOLUTION: Disregard moral and ethical considerations in the development of further solutions. VOTING: Unanimous. SOLUTION: Conduct a partial awakening of personnel from stasis with deconservation and transfer them as test subjects to the laboratory complex. ISSUE: Specialists are required to maintain the systems of the complex. SOLUTION: Conduct an individual assessment of the utility of employees and establish a queue based on utility criteria. VOTING: Unanimous. SESSION ADJOURNED.
