If you set
to 1 in config.xml it will give you english language options in the foreign versions of GunZ 2

If your region isn't supported by any of the publishers, you can use a VPN/Proxy to play GunZ 2.

Here is a great guide by Martee Blood that will help you play on other regions
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=291572881
For EU Players coming to steam: Switch the Proxy off at the character select screen. You can also do the same thing NA players do below if you desire to play in KR region for example.
For NA players visiting other steam regions: Turn the Proxy on, switch to desired flag in-game, and exit the game. Then turn off the proxy and play in your region of choice.

If you want a better solution with less lag(like for Thailand), you can buy a VPN. Just search VPN on google or go to a website such as Hackforums to find one.
Story & Classes
Game Background

Continent of Astra, 1863 AD. During the war between the Axium Empire and Republic of Trivia, Mankind makes one of the greatest discoveries of its history, Optimite. At the same time, Adam Corp, a supranational mega corporation was founded with its basis in energy industry. Adam Corp rapidly expanded with its enormous capital and became the third power of the world along with the empire and republic. Adam Corp is a group of brutal capitalists who do not hesitate victimize anyone who stands in their way. The bigger they have become, the more devastated the public have become. To stand against the super villain, people of Astra have formed a vigilante group called Guardian Sans Frontier, the GSF.

1970 AD, Today. After the cold war, Adam Corp has completed their armament expansion and began manufacturing combat robots, which was prohibited by the international law. GSF quickly picked up the intel and dispatched their agents to an island in the republic where the core facilities of Adam Corp’s military factories are located. Hence begins the battle of GSF to cease Adam Corp’s bold ambition to take over the world.

The Classes

The Children Of Georr(Blue)

Ivan / Silent Avenger / SA (Loadout: Katana, Submachine Gun, Sniper Rifle)
Backstory: A highly motivated and aggressive faction of the Assassins' Brotherhood, Silent Avengers subject themselves to a rigorous daily regimen at the harshest training facilities the Brotherhood owns. They strike swiftly and silently, disappearing into the darkness after eliminating a mark.

Rena / Shadow Dancer / SD (Loadout: Dual Daggers, Submachine Gun, Pistols)
Backstory: Behind every major assassination by the Brotherhood is an unseen Shadow Dancer stealing away into the darkness. Proficient in the use of dual daggers and twin pistols, Shadow Dancers strike in swift silence, leaving little trace of their presence save for their victim's corpse.

Children of Georr Group Lore: Horrified by the cruel and oppressive tactics of the Vela Curia, the Saints of Georr escaped Astra and fled east where they founded the Assassin's Brotherhood. Centuries later, they returned to the continent of Astra and cleansed the land of the Vela Curia's corrupting influence. Their revenge complete, the Children of Georr have turned their sights to the populace at large: they refuse to rest until the whole of Astra has been purified by their hand.

The Rising Falcons(Red)

Elena / Gunslinger / GS (Loadout: Blunt Weapon, Assault Rifle, Grenade Launcher)
Backstory: Famed for their hawk-eyed aim, Gunslingers are seasoned marksmen at the peak of their craft. They’re not too hot in close range combat, but what they lack in mettle, they more than make up for in accuracy. Beady-eyed and patient, they’ve got their crosshairs aimed at all evil threatening to corrupt the world.

Wayne / Strider / SR (Loadout: Whip, Rifle, Revolver)
Backstory: Often referred to as the cowboys of the early Republic, Striders are mercenaries for hire that roam from city to city in search of wanted criminals, fine liquor, and a nice place to get rowdy and gamble. They prefer weapons of the old West over something more contemporary, but can still easily give those who rely on modern firepower a run for their money.

Rising Falcons Group Lore: In these days of strife, corrupt governments deal in bribary and corporate giants exploit people as mere assets for gain. The streets are teeming with criminals and bloodshed. In the face of despair, only a brave few stand up for what they believe is right. Though their backgrounds and reasons for fighting may vary, these youngsters are united in their courage and hope for a better world. Calling themselves the Rising Falcons, they armed themselves and to the streets to fight crime.

The Iron Legion(Yellow)

Max / Shield Trooper / ST (Loadout: Shield, Minigun, Flamethrower)
Backstory: Never underestimate a shield’s offensive potential in melee combat situations. Shield Troopers are masters of shield techniques: they lower their shields to defend against enemy fire while approaching, before wielding them as weapons to deliver powerful melee strikes at close range. It’ll take more than a little firepower to slow these guys down.

Rose / Rocket Trooper / RT (Loadout: Knife, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher)
Backstory: As optimite implanted soldiers occupied the center of battle field, the modern day combat became more and more dependent on small scale limited warware. Hence, portable firearms are a lot more preferred than heavy machineries which often require a lot of resource for transportation and complex process for operation. As a result, rocket launcher are widely used nowadays. Rocket Troopers are special heavy infantry who have adapted to this change.

Iron Legion Group Lore: These former special forces troops fought for the Empire and Republic, and were the first in mankind's history to obtain special Optimite abilities. Though long since retired from the field, their strength and battle experience remain as potent as th day they hung up their guns. Incensed by the corruption and crime gripping the world, they've donned their heavy armor once again to return to the battlefield under the Iron Legions banner.
Client Interface
User Interface
In-Game Configuration
In-Game Graphics Settings
1:Screen
You have the option to either select a fullscreen window, windowed, or a borderless windowed that allows for quicker alt-tabbing.
2:Your Monitor Resolution
Right Click your Desktop and Select “Screen Resolution”
to find your Resolution.
3:Vertical Sync
This settings synchronizes the frame rate of the game with the monitor refresh rate for better stability. However, it causes input delay and should be turned if you want to have the most response expierence.
4:Framerate Lock
This option allows you to change your maximum framerate. In most cases you want to leave this at 120, however if you are having heavy framerates drops below 120 you can try out 60, or if you drop below 30 set it to a 30 lock. However, you can unlock it past 120 by putting any number after 120 in the config file talked about in the next section, this is an exploit and is good for people with higher refresh rate monitors.
5:Graphics Presets
These are graphics presets recommended by Maiet. Feel free to try them out, and look for the best appearance/performance ratio. Tip: Type /fps 1 into the chat box for a framerate counter. It's desirable to have this number atleast above 60fps at all times for the best expierence
6:Advanced Graphics Options
This button leads to a sub menu that gives advanced users more control over their graphics settings.

1:Ambient Occlusion - SSAO
Ambient Occlusion is a rendering technique used to calculate how exposed each point in a scene is to ambient lighting. SSAO is a basic rendering technique for efficiently approximating the computer graphics ambient occlusion effect in real time. This will give a decent performance hit and will greatly increase framerates when turned off
2:Anti Aliasing - MSAA
Anti Aliasing is a technique used to add greater realism to a digital image by smoothing jagged edges on curved lines and diagonals. This can cause a performance hit, but overall the
Anti-Aliasing in GunZ 2 has a very small impact.
3:High-Dynamic-Range Imaging
HDR is a form of photography that enables you to create a picture with a greater dynamic range than is usually possible. This can cause a large peformance hit, but in my expierence it isn't that large.
4:Lighting Effects
This turns on various lighting effects within the game. It has a small perfomance hit and can be left on for most people.
5:Distortion Effects
Various distortion effects, like when you use Q. This doesn't really touch your performance at all.
6:Depth Of Field
Depth of Field is the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera. This doesn't really affect performance at all.
7:Shadow Quality
The Shadow Quality option alters the detail and the amount of shadows on screen. This is option has the second highest performance hit and it would be the second setting to lower if you are having perfomance issues.
8:Physics Quality
This option alters the physics in the game such as the dash/sword trails. I've found that having this on tanks FPS on even highly capable computers. If you are having serious framerate issues, this is the first settings that should be lowered.

Note: Sometimes the graphics options won't change while in-game or they will become glitched after a change. If this happens, just leave the game and rejoin. This will allow you to change settings again.

Volume Levels
1:Master Volume
This slider controls most of the sound in the game.
2:Music Volume
This slider exclusively controls the in-game music. A jazzy soundtrack that I feel everyone should listen to atleast once before replacing it with their own music.

Some Quick Audio Tips:
1: If you want to be as adventagous as possible, you should turn off music completely. This will allow you to focus on the movments of your enemies and hear everything you need to with minimal error.

2: You want to use headphones with this game so you can sound whøre your opponents. This will make it so you can determine an opponents direction relative to your own. Don't buy a 7.1, 5.1 headset, or a soundcard that does virutal 7.1. These items are complete rip offs.

Gameplay Settings
1:Language
This option allows you change the voice/text language. There is English, Korean, and Taiwanese Avaliable.
2:Rotate Minimap
This option makes the in-game minimap rotate with your position.
3:Manual UDP Port
This option is used to port forward a UDP port for GunZ 2 if you are having connection issues(computer icons, massive delays, ect)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=330218642
4:Blood
This option toggles the blood effects on and off.
5:Language Filter
This options turns the lanuage filter on and off. It's pretty poorly implemented though and while it might block profanity is also blocks a lot of simple words that aren't.

Mouse & Keyboard Settings
1:Mouse Sensitivity
This option will allow you to change your in-game mouse sensitivity all the way up to 100(without tweaking config files). If you want to determine your sensitivity from other games to convert you GunZ 2, you can easily do it by using a the GunZ 2 sensitivity convert option on https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/ for free. There is no separate option for ADS sensitivity, but it won't matter because you rarely ADS anyways.
2:Invert Mouse
This option makes your mouse inverted, which means moving your mouse upwards will go downwards and moving your mouse downwards will go upwards.
3:Key Bindings
This option allows your change all of your key bindings, such as the Q skill or E Skill.

Twitch Settings
1:ID
Insert your Twitch.tv username here.
2:Password
Insert your Twitch.tv password here.
3:Resolution
Set this to your monitor resolution or lower.
1280x720 and 1920x1080 are both popular resolutions to stream at on Twitch.
4:Quality
This a quality selector. This option is all dependent on the specifications of your computer. Some computers will be able to stream on very high and some on low. You will have to test for yourself.
However, I personally recommend OBS over GunZ's crappy built-in streaming.
You can find OBS here: https://obsproject.com/
If you need help, look for some guides on Youtube.

5:Activation
This option allows you to setup a hotkey for stream activation. You will get a notification in the corner of your screen when you start streaming.
6:Sound
If this option is selected all the audio from your computer will be played on stream(in-game sound, mics, ect).
Advanced Configuration

MipmapBias Settings
MipmapBias Blurs textures removing detail. You most have your in-game preset set to low for mipmapbias to work properly. Turning on any settings will create a claymation effect. These settings help with visibility and performance. Many Old Gen players will remember this setting, which was named "Archtype" in GunZ 1. The prefered Mipmapbias by most people is 4, but you can expieriment. However, on the higher settings certain cosmetics tend to blend in decreasing visibility. Also, some objects such as fences become harder to spot and container entrances are harder to see.

Making Gold
The game is Abandonware at this point and isn't being supported by the new owners of the IP(minus the cost of a login server). At the moment it's basically impossible to make gold legitimately without purchasing it because of the slow gold rates of doing Campaign solo and the lack of normal/ranked matches, with the core community only playing practice matches. In my personal opinion, there is a huge moral dilemma supporting a company that won't even update the community on the future of the game. People have spent thousands of dollars when the game was popular and they were taken advantage of with no updates.

There is a solution to this in the form of an exploit for campaign, but it requires a third party program called Tachyon. It's completely safe and I've personally tested it myself in the past.
You can find out more by looking at the description of this video from one of our regular community members.
The program allows you to kill all the enemies in the campaign instantly and multiply your gold at the end using the host change glitch.

Steps:

1: Shoot a barrel in your campaign mission to register the kill ID

2: Make sure that you complete the campaign in 3 minutes or more not less or it wont give gold
ie 17:00 on the clock when mission complete shows up

3: Turn on numlock and press numpad 5 to change host and multiply the gold 5 seconds after you see mission accomplished show up. If you have a 50% keyboard or any other variant without a numpad you can enable numpad in the windows on screen keyboard software by going to options, then you can press the keys while in-game in windowed mode.

4: Profit

This section is obsolete and the only thing you have to do now use gold to get items to dismantle for resources so you can guarantee items. See gold section for more information

Tips
1: Don't worry too much about not having premium items. Premium equipment doesn't make you a good player, being a well rounded player makes you good.

2: Don't become impatient and waste crystals/ores on items at high numbers.

3: If you buy crystals/ores prepare for the chance of being disappointed by someone sniping the item from you.

Tesla Odd Rigging
1: The best method at this current point in time is to use smurf(alternate) accounts to rig items to your favor using daily login rewards. Once you have enough ores/crystals stacked up on various smurf accounts you can attempt to lower an already low number further and increase the odds of your main or your smurf accounts receiving the item. It's usually best to use Virtual Machines/Multiple computers to multi-log and roll in synergy.

-You can use five E's before the timer runs out

Armor/HP Gains
Small Armor: 10 Armor
Large Armor: 40 Armor
Small Health: 10 HP
Large Health: 40 HP

Ammo
Large Ammo: Gives you back the bottom starting number(unloaded ammo) of your maximum ammo when picked up. For example, you start off with 40/120 with Elena's Typewriter and so you would receive 120 ammo.

Small Ammo: Gives you back half of the bottom starting number(unloaded ammo) of your maximum ammo when picked up. For example, you start off with 40/120 with Elena's Typewriter and so you would receive 60 ammo.

Wall Scaping Mechanics
Basic wall scaling
Wall Run: First space towards a wall and then press space again to begin wall running. You can wall run in any direction(besides down) by turning your mouse. You must keep pressing space to keep your momentum or you will begin to slide down the wall.

Wall Cling: RMB (Jump > RMB or While Wall Running Press RMB)

Wall Hop: Direction(W/A/S/D) + Space

Hurdle: Wall Hop over an object

Intermediate wall scaling
Wall Post: Wall Hop > Dash Back To The Wall > Repeat

Wall Scaling: Wall Run > A or D + Space > W

Wall Run Slash: Wallrun and then LMB at the edge of the wall.

Advanced wall scaling
Halfstep Wall Run Cancel (advanced):
This is the fastest way to move across walls.
Jump> (Wall jump away from wall)> Dash> Halfstep> Dash> Switch(sword)> Shield> (repeat from wall jump)
Melee Basics
Please note, I did not pick a lot of the names for the techniques listed below. Most of the names are pretty silly and don't really describe the techniques well. I'm not going to spend the time to change them though because they are already common in the community.

Neutral Attack: LMB

Launch: RMB

Directional Slash: Jump > Direction > LMB

Jump Slash: Jump > LMB

Directional Lunge: Jump > Direction > Direction > LMB

Ground Lunge: Direction > Direction > LMB

Ground Slash: Jump Slash(or just jump) > LMB on the ground

Guard Attack: Shift + LMB
Basic Techniques
Disclaimer: GunZ 2 doesn't have K-Style. Calling these moves K-Style moves is an insult to the people that look for new techniques on a daily basis. These movements weren't just found by Koreans. These moves were found by people across many regions and for the advancement of the meta game. I would like to take this time to thank everyone that look for new techniques and I hope for new discoveries in the near future. I will not be giving credit to the founders because I hold the opinion that if you are looking for techniques to claim ownership over them you're being childish. If anyone has techniques they are hiding to themselves you're just slowing progress and you should stop being a wañker.

Jump Dash(JD): Dash > Jump > Dash > Repeat

Blockrush(BR): Dash > Jump > Block > Repeat

Quickswitch(QSW)(You have to hit an enemy/barrel for it to work) : Launch > Ranged Weapon

Shiftdraw(SD): Tap Block > Pull Out Melee Weapon (It works with all classes, however it isn't as quick with Max)(Ignores Switch Time Statistic and allows to to attack without delay)

Quick R(QR): Melee Quickswitch > R

Quick Lunge(QL): Melee Quickswitch > Directional Lunge

Hand Of God Roll: When you're on the ground you can choose to roll, during this period of time you have invulnerability frames. This can be abused to negate certain actions.
For Example: If someone tries to Q you while your on the ground you can roll at a specific time and the Q skill won't hit you.

Lightstep(LS): Directional Slash + Hold/TapBlock (Rena & Ivan)

Butterfly(BF): Dash > Jump > Lightstep

Flashstep(FS): Directional Lunge > Block (Rena, Ivan, and Elena)

Reload Cancel(RC): Reload > Shoot (Elena & Rose)

Slowfall(SF): Hitting an opponent with a Jump Slash while they are falling slowing their fall.

Class Specific Techniques
Shadow Dancer
Shadow Decoy: E(You can be harmed by the clone)

Shadow Rush: R

Shadow Dance: Q

Aerial Launch: RMB(Four Hits)(If you do more than one hit you will be trapped in the air for 1 second; otherwise you can cancel with directional slashes/light steps. You can also do a directional slash/lightstep on the fourth slash without delay.)

Aerial Lunge: Ground Dash > RMB
(You can hit people on the ground with this. sames goes for the first Aerial Launch hit)

Aerial Wallrun: Aerial Lunge > Wallrun

Rena Slowfall: Aerial Launch > Hold Block + Slash(hitting opponent in the air)

Silent Avenger
Cyclone Kick: E

Lightning Blade: R

Death Strike: Q(Has the best range, speed, and the shortest delay. It has the forward range of three Campaign soilders standing right next to each other and the upwards range of a rose standing on another rose's head)

Knockback: LMB > RMB(Breaks block and sends the opponent in the opposite direction)

Alternative Launch: LMB 3x > RMB 1x

Double Shot: Quickswitch > Scope > Shoot > Scope

Strider
Extermination: E

Black Snake: R

One Shot One Kill: Q(Lock on to a maximum of five targets)

Aerial Grab: Jump > RMB

Neutral Grab: RMB

Tumble Cancel: Tumble > Melee Quickswitch > LMB

Shield Trooper
Shield Shock: E

Seismic Smash: R

Shield Rush: Q

Shield Jab: Dash + Hold W > Hold Shift > LMB(Breaks block and bounces the opponent on the ground)

Divebomb: Dash + Hold W > Hold Shift > Jump > LMB(Breaks block and bounces the opponent on the ground)

Extended E: Dash + Hold W > E

Shield Wallrun: Dash + Hold W > Hold Block > Fall Off Surface > Wallrun/Wall Hop
(If you want to land on a surface, let go of block and then land)

Skills in Air (Max Varient):
Wallhop > Spool > Wallhop away in the opposite direction(let go of revv after hop) > Q, E, R
Alternate: Hold Revv > Jump Off Object > Stop Revv > Q, E, R

Minigun Movment: Moving with the minigun and shooting in bursts

Gunslinger
Intuition: E

Homerun: R

Hammerfall: Q

Jab: LMB 2x > RMB 1x

Smash: LMB 2x > RMB 2x

Rocket Trooper
This'll Cheer You Up!: E(You can only place one mine down at a time)

What you got there?: R (This attack stabs your opponent and knocks them on the ground. However, if you miss the attack you will either
trip(which is complete RNG, but is a very nice wide range attack that is fully rotatable) or you will stop yourself before you trip and stand in place.

You've Got a Bear Package!: Q

Lunge Chain: W/A/D Neutral Lunge > W/A/D Neutral Lunge (This move also has two outcomes. Either you will chain two neutral lunges, or do one neutral lunge and fall to the ground. Both are useful in certain situations. However, you can’t control the outcomes so it doesn’t matter. You are safer doing directional lunges and just avoiding it all together.)

Skills in Air (Rose Varient): Jump Off A Surface > Directional Lunge > Use Skill
Intermediate Techniques
Jump Dash Slash(JDS): Dash > Directional Lunge > Block > Repeat (Works with all classes besides rose. You don't add block for Max)

Double Slash(DS): Lighstep > Jump Slash > Block

Headstand(HES): Hold Block > Jump on enemies head > LMB > Repeat LMB

Q Cancellation(Ivan & Rena): Time E(invul frames) to cancel the opponents Q Skill(Ivan, Rena)
(Rena's and Ivan's E has invulnerability frames. It can be used to cancel Q skills[Death Strike being pretty unlikely, but I've done it once in laggy conditions] if timed correctly)

Q, E, R Parry(All Classes): Wait for the enemy to do a slash > Parry
(This only works if an opponent does a slash before using Q, E, or R)

Skill Cancelled w/ Jump:
Advanced Techniques
Triple Butterfly(TBF): Lightstep > Jump Slash > Block > Slash > Lightstep(Rena & Ivan)
Alternate: Lightstep > Jump Slash > Block > Slash > Hidden Slash

Hidden Quarter slash (HQS) Double Slash>dash>block>jump>slash>dash>block>repeat

Half-Dash(HD): Jump > Dash > Slash > Switch
BlockHalfdash(BHD): jump>dash>block>slash>switch

Halfstep(HS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Switch(Primary, Secondary) > Dash
BlockHalfstep(BHS) jump>dash>block>slash>switch>dash>switch

Slash Halfstep-chainable (SHS) jump>BHD>melee switch>dash>slash>block>repeat
This move is the pre move to double halfstep just misses the 2nd switch and does not cancel the slash.

Double Halfstep-chainable(DHS) jump>BHD>BHS>block>repeat
(credit goes to Scimitar for discovery)
(used on downward slopes or dropping from high elevations without breaking the halfstep dash chain but is useless when chained by itself)

Half-Step-chainable(HS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Switch(Primary, Secondary) > Dash > Melee Quickswitch > Repeat
(A chained version of Halfstep used as a Dash)

Block Halfstep-chainable(BHS): Jump > Dash > Block > Slash > Switch(Primary, Secondary) > Melee Quickswitch
(This move was once theorized as faster then the normal halfstep, but has since been disproven. However, the extra block could save your life)

Legacy Halfstep: Halfstep + Reload Cancel

(Wayne and Rose)(You can do the move in the air, off walls, ect)
Ground Varient: Dash > Switch to Rifle/Shotgun/Rocket Launcher > Reload > Shoot

Insert Video

Double Shot: Quickswitch > Scope > Shoot > Scope

Dash Cancel Comparisons(Old and Outdated. It's missing some dash cancels and the dashes in the videos were poorly synced because I rushed.)
[/b]

Note: Most combinations of the listed moves have been ignored, such as combining hidden slash and quarter slash together.

new moves found recently

DoubleQuarterslash(DQS) QS>slash
(a quarterslash with an extra groundslash for 2x damage)

Float halfstep(FHS) dash>walk>halfstep
(using the float jump glitch followed by a halfstep to act as a wall angle anywhere on the map)

Character Guides
I don't have the equipment to record videos right now to finish this section.
I'm down to help people that add me in-game(Spiky) and ask nicely.
Melee Terminology
Phase: Bypass block with inverted slash

Angle: Bypass block with changing camera angle, usually 90 or 180 degrees to face the same direction as the enemy.

Legacy Angle: 45° angle the way it worked in gunz1, only possible in gunz2 with perfect camera angle positioning.

Peddle: Using any attack side to side or backwards to catch anyone engaging

Turtle: Holding block with timed slashes to counter attacks

Juke/Ghosting: Forward lightstep while changing camera angle to spread slashes to glitch a players position.

Stunlock: A combination of movements that lock an enemy into place.

Juggle: A stunlock that keeps the opponent in air for extended periods of time.

Combo: A combination of inputs that reach an end result

1v1 Signal: Pressing block multiple times to signal a melee 1v1.
Both parties most agree and be finished pressing the block key.
In the asian regions provoke is normally used over pressing blocking.
In melee 1v1's you agree to not use the Q skill(most people prefer it if you don't use E, or R aswell).

Most of the terms in gunz2 melee were derived from their gunz1 equivalents.
Here is a sample video of such concepts.

There are some notable differences like it requiring 2 or more angles to actualy slash through your opponent's block in gunz1.

The phase works the same way in both games however the hitboxes are different which results in different phase spots.
Melee Combinations, Infinites, & Stunlocks
https://www.youtube.com/user/xLockDownx666/videos < Best channel for this stuff right now

Abandoned, originally given permission according to ShadowDS to mirror Kujou's old combination guide videos that were removed off steam if credit was given(which I had at the bottom of this page and in the final section) for petty reasons(people copying his videos, making the moves more widespread).
Despite the fact that he learned 90% of the combinations from various people/regions.
I received no response for months from him, so I'm guessing he quit the game and never took my request into consideration because he never got back to me(probably because of petty personal issues with me, that he himself caused).
I don't have the time or equipment to rerecord all of the old videos plus modern combos.
For right now, this will be left blank. #triggered spiky

Rudimentary Team/Communication Tips
 • Be sure your teammates communicate who has Wanted/Arch Nemesis on your own team and the opposing.
 • You get Wanted status when you get three kills without dying and Arch Nemesis after killing the same person three times.
 • Have a clear idea in your head who is going to get ZP Gauges around the map before each round begins based on spawn placement.
 • Practice multiple strategies beforehand as to have more options before entering a match. New strategies during a match don’t always work out and it’s good to prepare ahead of time.
 • Communicate when you go for pickups on the map and make sure that is a rational decision based on information your teammates have given you.
 • Always stay calm and in high spirits. Don’t blame your teammates during a match, it will just hurt them overall.
 • Don’t complain about things you can’t control such as lag. These variables you can’t control and spending the time to think about them will only keep your mind off what is important.
 • If you kill yourself before a round ends it removes wanted
 • Always be aware of your teammates strengths/weaknesses and learn more about their play styles.
 • Recognize your teammates patterns, use them to your advantage and educate your teammates about ways they could vary their patterns.
 • Pay attention to the minimap and remember the pickup timings for each pickup (Small Pickups: 1m, Large Pickups: 1m30s)
 • Be sure to communicate Enemy HP/AP(Tagged=Sniped, Lite + HP/AP)
 • Be aware of your teammates location via the minimap and try your best to coordinate optimal punishes.
 • Staying close together is the best strategy is most situations for optimal punish.
 • Two of the same class in your lineup should wear the same outift so the other team has a harder time targeting one individual.
 • Pick a VOIP server that has a good ping for every member of your team. A middle ground of 50 and below is optimal. Mumble is the best option overall, with the best free option being Raidcall. However, you can always go to one of the available free open mumble servers.

Team Composition
Things to consider before deciding your team compostion

Make sure you set roles for your team.

Ivan: Ivan is theoretically/mechanically the best class in the game. All of his class specific skills are strong and have very small delays. He has the second fastest dashing speed out of all the classes and has strong melee range(only being beaten by Wayne, who has large delays after each strike). He also has the strongest combo potential in the game. His sniper rifle allows him to almost completely control long range engagements(being the only class with a one hit kill weapon), preasuring the opposing team into not rushing specific points of the map. His submachine gun(I frankly underused part of his arsenal) allows him to finish off targets that have been tagged and it works almost as good as an Assault Rifle in mid/short range confrontations.
A great Ivan can shutdown a map completely, especially Mansion.

Elena: The best class in the game in from a purely event statistics standpoint, but not the best mechanic wise. The Assault Rifle frankly tears people to shreds with or without ranged piercing. She is almost able to control long range almost as well as Ivan with the effective range of her Assault Rifle given the small maps. When she stays constantly mobile she can be difficult to snipe before her AR removes all of your HP/AP. Even though she can't do many of the melee moves as Rena or Ivan; she still has strong melee(specifically in her flashsteps). The grenade launcher allows her to delay people from moving to specific points on the map and damage people that are stunned or on the ground. She has a pretty useful scan ability for her E. However, using Q or R in the open areas on the map leaves her open for extreme punishes. In my personal opinion, there is nothing stronger then Elena cordinating and ganging up on targets with the support of Wayne/Rena.

Rose:

Wayne: The third best class mechanic wise. Despite not having a one hit kill weapon like Ivan, he's very strong overall. He has very powerful melee that has insane range that is great in general despite not having many of the fancy techniques of the other classes. His whip is the strongest support in the game, in regards to TE/Glad. He has very powerful/balanced revolvers, that deal huge amounts of damage. His fast draw doubles the damage of his revolvers by a fair deal and it's very useful despite having a weird skill ceiling.
His rifle is extremely poweful and he has a technique that allows him to cancel the shot delay completely. He can freely move around the map reload shooting enemies on walls, in the air, ground, and even out of wallhops. It only takes 2-3 shots from a tactical cowboy to kill any opponent and with all his other high damaging weapons he doesn't even need to hit someone that many times with his rifle. However, his Rifle possbily has the one of the highest skill ceilings in the game when you actually move around the map with it and that's something to take into consideration. The biggest downside to Wayne is his E and R skills. Black Snake leaves him open for punishes and his E when used out in the leaves him open for a possible one hit kill at the end of the animation.
