Video
Ignore Suggested Limits: This option ignores the recommended video memory limits, which can lead to lower performance or instability in certain scenarios.
Options: On / Off - Ignoring the video memory limit may negatively affect performance or cause crashes, so it's generally recommended to leave this off.

Pause Game On Focus Loss: This setting pauses the game when the window loses focus (e.g., when you switch to another program).
Options: On / Off - Decide whether the game should pause when it’s not in focus. On helps maintain a break in gameplay when distracted.
Output Adapter: Select the GPU to handle the game's output.
Output Monitor: Select the monitor for the game’s display output.
Screen Type: Defines the type of screen mode for displaying the game.
Options: Fullscreen / Borderless Fullscreen / Windowed Fullscreen / Windowed - With new Windows Builds the borderless fullscreen became a viable option for those who like to alt+tab of the game without having stutters and maintaining low latency, but if you want to modify the resolution or refresh rate, feel free to keep it on fullscreen or if you are on older builds of windows that don't have the feature of optimizations for windowed games.
Resolution: Set the game's display resolution for optimal image clarity.
Refresh Rate: The number of frames per second the monitor can display.
Frame Limit: Limits the maximum frames per second (FPS) the game can render.
Options: 30-120 / Off - I would recommend to leave this at off since the cap is mostly useless if you have a monitor with a higher refresh rate than 120Hz or if you enable NVIDIA Reflex.
V-Sync: Synchronizes the game’s frame rate with your monitor's refresh rate to reduce screen tearing.
Options: On / Half /Off - Since this option can introduce some latency, I will recommend to turn this setting off.
NVIDIA Reflex: Reduces latency by optimizing input responsiveness.
Options: On / On + Boost / Off - You should enable this option if your GPU is maxing out at 98%, 99%, if the GPU is sitting at 80% for example, turning this option on will have no benefit since there is no bottleneck, the on + boost option will be for CPU Bound scenarious.

AMD AntiLag I got no Info about this option.
Ray Tracing
PRESETS
  • Graphics Preset: Adjusts the game's graphical settings based on predefined configurations.
Options: Minimum / High / Very High - Doesn't matter what you select here, since we will be customizing the settings individually.

Enable Ray Tracing: Activates ray tracing, a rendering technique for more realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows.
Ray Traced Shadows: Simulates realistic lighting and shadow effects using ray tracing.
Options: Off / High / Very High / Ultra
Ray Traced Reflections: Uses ray tracing to create more realistic reflections.
Options: Off / High / Very High / Ultra
Ray Traced Global Illumination: Enhances lighting by simulating indirect light bouncing off surfaces.
Options: Off / High / Very High / Ultra
Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion: Simulates how light interacts with objects in the scene, especially corners and crevices.
Options: Off / High / Very High / Ultra
Ray Tracing Scene BVH Quality: Controls the quality of ray tracing's bounding volume hierarchy for better accuracy.
Options: High / Very High
Frame Scaling
Frame Scaling: Adjust the overall performance scaling for frames.
Either use DLSS if you GPU supports it, otherwise go for FSR 3.
Resolution Scaler: Scales the resolution for performance optimization without a loss in visual quality.
Depends on upscale method used. - Gathering More Info.
Anti-Aliasing: Reduces jagged edges by smoothing the image.
Options: Off / FXAA / TAA - I am going to recommend to use TAA since provides better anti-aliasing than FXAA and of course off. Also TAA is automatically enabled when using an upscaling method.
Sharpness: Controls the level of image sharpness.
Personal Preference depending on the upscaling method used.
Quality
Shader Quality: Defines the complexity of the game’s shaders (materials and effects).
Options: Normal / High / Very High - I am going to recommend very high because, when using normal setting, it disables Anisotropic Filtering and therefore using Bilinear, which is not optimal and on High it disables parallax mapping.
Texture Quality: Sets the resolution of textures.
Options: Normal / High / Very High - Adjust Accordingly VRAM.
Anisotropic Filtering: Improves texture detail at oblique viewing angles.
Options: Off / X2 / X4 / X8 / X16 - I am going to recommend to use X16 since it showcased minimal performance impact.
Particles Quality: Determines the visual quality of particle effects like smoke or fire.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I am going to recommend to use Ultra despite the performance loss, since it showcased the new and enhanced particles, where in other settings was the old particles.
Tesselation: Enhances the detail of 3D objects by adding more geometry.
Options: Off / Normal / High / Very High - I am going to recommend to use Very High since it showcased minimal performance impact.
Water Quality: Defines how water effects, like reflections and ripples, are rendered.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I am going to recommend to use Ultra since from High to Ultra the performance was similiar but I would recommend the use of the Normal Setting in GTA Online, since it can eat some FPS.
Grass Quality: Controls the level of detail and complexity of grass.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I am going to recommend to use High/Very High since using it on Normal, mountains were very bland and using ultra added some more visuals to the grass but didn't compensate for the performance loss.
Lighting
Lighting Quality: Adjusts the visual quality of the lighting system.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I am going to recommend ultra since it showcased no performance impact (No visual difference between normal and ultra either, option might be broken).
Reflection Quality: Improves the quality of reflective surfaces like water or glass.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I am going to recommend very high for a middle ground setting between visuals and performance.
Shadow Quality: Enhances the details and sharpness of shadows.
Options: Normal / High / Very High - I am going to recommend high for a middle ground setting between visuals and performance.
Soft Shadows: Enables softer, more natural-looking shadows.
Options: Sharp / Soft / Softer / Softest - I am going to recommend to use sharp to maintain the performance from the other methods and therefore don't use high resolution shadows aswell to cause any performance loss.
Long Shadows: Activates longer shadows based on the time of day or lighting.
Options: On / Off - User Preference since it showcased no performance gain or loss.
High Resolution Shadows: Increases the resolution of shadows for finer detail.
Options: Off / On - Based on the settings applied this setting will be off by default.
Extended Shadows Distance: Increases the distance at which shadows are rendered.
Based on the settings applied this setting will be off by default.
Post FX
Post FX: Applies additional post-processing effects like color grading, bloom, etc.
Options: Normal / High / Very High / Ultra - I'm not a fan of these effects so I keep them at normal since it adds a lot of effects that I don't approve, but if you like those effects I recommend a minimum of High.
In-Game Depth Of Field Effects: Adds a blur effect to objects outside the focus area.
Options: On / Off - I am going to recommend to disable this setting since it can mess with visual clarity.
Motion Blur Strength: Applies motion blur during fast movements.
I am going to recommend to disable this option since it can mess with visual clarity.
Ambient Occlusion: Simulates how light interacts with objects and corners.
Options: Off / HBAO / SSDO - I am going to recommend HBAO has a middle ground setting between performance and visuals.
Scene
Population Density: Controls the number of NPCs in the game world.
This setting will be more of personal preference since in my testing there was no performance impact whatsoever.
Population Variety: Determines how varied NPCs and creatures are in the game.
This setting will be more of personal preference since in my testing there was no performance impact whatsoever.
Distance Scaling: Adjusts how much of the world is rendered at a distance.
I am going to recommend to set the slider to the middle since in gta online with all the explosions, traffic and grass, this can lower performance in certain areas but also reduce pop-in.
High Detail Streaming While Flying: Controls how much detail is loaded while flying or moving quickly.
Options: On / Off - I am going to recommend to turn this option on since it showcased minimal performance impact and reduce the pop-in.
Extended Distance Scaling: Increases the rendering distance for far-off objects and terrain.
I am going to recommend to turn the slider down since it crushed my performance in gta online with all the explosions, traffic and grass.

Whoever said Pop Density and Pop Variety doesn't affect online has absolutely no clue how chunk loading works in online. The settings very much affect Online, it affects the spawns that happen in the chunks you're actively in - only overwritten if you have another player with these setting set higher in the same chunks to whoever has the settings on highest.

Population Density: testing there was no performance impact whatsoever.
-this i think is for single player. it shouldn't affect online since we all can see the same NPC.

-this is painful but i would put this to full. since you wont see distant buildings, targets, players etc.. its important to see them and avoid pop ups.

How do i fix the constant never ending loading screens. loading has gotten worse in public lobbys. Only place where it loads fast for me is invite only sessions but every time i want to sell product from one of my businesses i need to wait at least a couple of minutes in a black loading screen. sometimes not even going past it and being stuck on that screen
