Intro
There are two kinds of players: Those that want to be the best at any cost, and those that also want to be the best, but in style. After all, would it matter to be on top, while you are wearing a scruffy gi and banged gloves?

This guide is something I made for myself, and since I'm already taking the time to list every single item in the game and where to find them, I don't see why not share this with the half dozen other people in the internet that also spend more time making their avatars looking good in World Tour instead of climbing the ranks and lie to yourself that reaching Master rank will give some meaning to all Jellied Eel you gave Cammy to get her second costume.

While the game do have an inventory limit, it is very generous, and do not prevent you yet from collecting 5 copies of each item (one in each color). You should get rid of the excess ones, though, either by selling or using them as upgrade material.

At the peak of the second skill tree, you will acquire the ability to modify the appearance of your gear, which then can diverge from what you actually have equipped. When you buy this skill, you automatically receive the items Bare Head , Bare Torso , Bare Legs and Bare Feet, which can be used to hide any gear you are wearing for stats.

There is no story spoilers on this guide, but locations will assume you finished the main quest, since the shops unlock new items as you progress through it. Currently, there is no permanently missable item in the game, but there are items with limited availability. If you sell these, you will be unable to acquire them again. It is possible I missed some items or easier way to acquire them, and whoever want to contribute with information, feel free to do so in the comments.

My list will always prioritize items available in shops, since they only requires zenny to be acquired, and it would be redundant to also list every opponents that can drop them. Listed prices assume you have learned the skill Haggler β for the price discount.

Outside of shops, items that can be earned as duel rewards, especially against opponents that can be challenged multiple times, will be my second main source of gear. There will be indications in the guide when you have only one chance to win the duel for that item. If you miss this chance, you can only acquire the item again as a reward on Daily Tournament and Normal Tournament that happens in Metro City at the Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium at daytime. The rewards are randomized. I will NOT list the MHM Tournament reward list, since they are only relevant for completionists. But basically every named NPC can show up as a competitor, including their unique rewards.

Items found in chests, or received as mission rewards, usually are unique, and can't be found anywhere else. If I find out an infinite source of these items, they'll be then listed at shop or duel sections.

Items received outside of World Tour, like Battle Pass rewards or event items, will always stay on your inventory, even if you reset your World Tour progress.

The main sources of item acquisition are the following shops:

DRIPPIN' STYLE in Metro City Beat Square

KISS ACHE AWAY in Metro City Urban Park

N-E WEAR at Old Nayshall

LEHENNA'S APPAREL at Nayshall Lowlands

Head Gear
This section is exclusively for gear pieces that are equipped in the first slot of the gearset. There are a few accessories that also stay on the Avatar head, but these are a bit below in the list.

Head gear usually gives you Defense and Punch Strength.

Body Gear
This section is exclusively for gear pieces that are equipped in the second and third slot of the gearset. Third slot is unlocked when you fit a pairable gear on the second slot. Gear on the third slot will not provide any perk or stat boost to your avatar.

Pairable gear allow you to combine two body pieces to form a unique visual. Pairable gear only allow you to combine with other, specific, pairable gear. The amount of permutations is too big to list on this guide. Try it out yourself to find out what can be combined.

Body gear usually gives you Defense.

Multi-slot Gear
Some torso gear can occupy multiple slots. Usually, these pieces tend to have higher stats on a first look, but actually have average stats once you realize the stats you are supposed to have based on the extra slots occupied.

If you want to use one of these pieces, you must equip them on the second equipment slot, and it will fill automatically all other slots it will occupy. I added to the list which slots each piece will use.

Stat-wise, the main advantage of multi-slot gear is that you only need to upgrade one piece, instead of many, to have higher stats in general.

Leg Gear
This section is exclusively for gear pieces that are equipped in the fourth slot of the gearset.

Leg gear usually gives you Defense.

Foot Gear
This section is exclusively for gear pieces that are equipped in the fifth slot of the gearset. None of the shoes come with socks, and these should be added separately

Foot gear usually gives you Defense and Kick Strength.

General Info About Accessories
Slots six to eight are collectivelly called Accessories by the game. They can be equipped in any slot, with no category distinction. The only exceptions are SOCKS, which can only be equipped in the sixth slot. Any other accessory can be used anywhere, independent of category. You can, eg, slot three glasses at the same time.

Excluding socks, every single accessory can have their size and location adjusted manually by pressing T (keyboard), ▲ (Playstation), or Y (Xbox). You can use that to make your avatar more distinct, or even, eg, fully hide an item by making it minuscule and hidden inside your avatar torso. Experiment with positioning until you get it where you like it.

I categorized accessories as follow, to make it easier to find specific items:

  • Socks: Self-explanatory.
  • Face Gear: Glasses, masks, and other decorations that are placed at the front of the avatar head.
  • Hand Gear: Gloves, bracelets, and other pieces of gear that comes in pairs and are positioned at hands or wrists.
  • Jewelry: Earrings, necklaces, rings, and other assorted jewelry.
  • Miscellany: Every other accessory that do not fit any of the above.

Accessories in general do not affect your stats, but can provide a big list of perks. There is no "best accessory" as you can find for the other slots. Adjust them as you see fit, and do not forget that the accessory appearance is superseded by the cosmetic accessory exactly at the same slot. Eg, you can have no socks equipped, but make your earrings looks like socks.
Events, Battle Pass, and Other External Items
This list contain items acquirable outside of World Tour. All items in this list will still be available even if you start a new World Tour game, which usually wipes your inventory.

None of these items affects your combat attributes. They are exclusively cosmetic options.

The vast majority of this list are no longer available, and thus far, there is no estimate if they ever will be back at some point. Items currently available will have their cost in Drive Tickets and/or Fighter Coins listed.

Unlike the other guides, these items will be listed in chronological order instead of alphabetical (from the portuguese name).
