Trapper Adept Guide
By Dark Sun
This is my guide for Trapper Adept. I like playing Trapper, so I figured I'd share some help for this achievement.

If you want to get into the mindset of Trapper, then watch:
In A Violent Nature (2024)
Friday the 13th: Part III

Perks:
Agitation- You move 18% faster and have 12 more meters of terror radius when carrying a survivor
Brutal Strength- You break walls, pallets, and gens 20% faster
Unnerving Presence- When survivors are repairing a gen in your terror radius, they get 10% higher chance for skill checks and the success zone is 60% smaller.

1. RPD Lockdown- A personal favorite of mine, this setup is designed to lockdown early game pressure and make the map very difficult to navigate through without either getting hooked or giving away a survivor's location. On this build, your perks will basically not matter. As soon as the map loads, head straight to the main hall and put a trap on every entrance to the main hall. Make sure to place your traps on the darkest part of each entrance. Make sure to maintain control over the main hall. Try to stay only in the main hall unless your certain that you can down a survivor within 10 seconds of leaving the main hall. Remember, survivors have to pass through the main hall, so let them come to you.

Add-ons:
1. Trapper Sack- Start with all your traps, but you can't pick them up after placement.
2a. (Preferable) Purple Stone- Survivors are downed if they free themselves from a trap. Keep in mind this doesn't work if someone else frees them from the trap.
2b. (Alternate Pick) Iridescent Stone- a random trap that has been sprung will reset itself after 30 seconds. This can help you if survivors are coordinated and start setting off traps in sync.

Offering: RPD Badge

2. Basement Lockdown- A particularly hated strategy, because if you get one survivor down in the basement, it's pretty much a guaranteed win for you if someone goes in after them. To start, simply herd a survivor towards the basement and down them. Hook them in basement, then put traps literally everywhere in the basement and around it. Agitation helps a lot in this build. Sometimes survivors will know what you're doing if you herd them to basement so they'll play very safe and stay far away from basement. Agitation gives you much more distance when carrying them and Brutal can help you catch up faster if they predrop a lot of pallets.

Add-ons:
1. Trapper Sack- Start with all your traps, but you can't pick them up after placement
2a. Makeshift Wraps- You no longer get stunned by your own traps, but you still spring them.
2b. Purple Stone- Survivors are downed if they free themselves from a trap. Keep in mind this doesn't work if someone else frees them from the trap.
