SIG MCX LVAW (M16)

The SIG Sauer MCX is an assault rifle manufactured by SIG Sauer, and using the same short-stroke gas piston system as the SIG MPX submachine gun. The MCX is noted for its "modularity, firing speed, controllability, and its ease of use". It feeds from standard STANAG magazines for 5.56×45mm NATO and .300 AAC Blackout ammunition, and specially designed STANAG-compatible magazines for 7.62×39mm. MCX LVAW (Low-Visibility Assault Weapon) is the variant for military and law enforcement only, with 6.75 inch barrel and thread mount suppressor.
