How to get free Battle Honors

Do you want to play as your favorite faction but don't want to spend hours going through campaign missions over and over? Here is a quick guide to fix that.

How to get to files.

Make sure you enable 'Show hidden items' in your file explorer.

For Windows Users:
Go to %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2

For Mac Users:
/Users/YOUR_USER/Library/Application Support/DoorKickers2/roster.xml

How to edit your save

Make sure you open as a TXT file.

Open the Roster.xml folder

Then find battlehonors and change the number to any number you want.


Click save, go into Door Kickers 2 and enjoy!

Its the same with other units, just open the TXT and find that unit.

I checked again and... I don't know.

Getting stars should be easy enough though, you can get a few easy workshop missions and just complete those if you need stars

I have no idea how to move the roster list but there might be a way

IIRC you have to edit some save files (maybe the roster.xml)

Firstly, thank you very much for this it is a very quick help/fix :). Is there a way to move the faction squads up or down on the roster list? The Swat faction I am keen to upgrade is 3 down on the roster list, if that makes sense. Do I need to just delete the existing squads?
