It's literally this simple
Steam Grid DB[www.steamgriddb.com]

and you'll find this:

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/37819645139540799/B709C6998599A1D6249592E44E259C11FE4281C8/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

From there you can look around this website and pick whatever you want.

if you wish to hear more then continue reading.
Maybe not so simple
This will be for those who wish to have a bit more guidance than to simply rush into a random website

Here is a small "How to" guide from my experience.

After visiting the site and taking it in, something may have already caught your eye.
Once you find your desired item, simply click download! It should
open up a new tab and allow you to select which folder it will be sent to,
I recommend you create a separate folder for all the new files you'll be downloading soon!
then through steam, customize said item (banner, title, cover grid) using the previously downloaded image. whatever that may be.
And for any special items that may bring some obstacles, check the
Websites "FAQ's" for any help on what to do.

As for animated cover art, the website suggested to select "Download as .PNG"
In order to bypass the Steam block. The website has the option to do this step for you.

They only ask of this because steam demands
that any file for cover art must be
in the form of a '.png' or '.jpg' file.

Then simply right click the selected game and hover over
"Manage"

+ "set custom artwork"

+ choose the new File you have selected to replace the default

+ "open".

And boom!
enjoy your new and improved

S T E A M
L I B R A R Y !
All Your new options!
Cover Grids!
(The cover art you see in your steam library)

This should already be covered from the previous section, but just in case...
If the cover is not moving when you open the raw file after downloading it,
does not mean it won't move in your library. it's only a temp
move in order for the bypass to work. once you enable it in
your library, will you see the animation at work.
once i set to custom artwork, i was shocked to see
Freddy moving for the first time

Heroes!
(otherwise known as banners or background images)

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/37819645139433423/A1EDAEB7B7DE5F91BDDE6C3C94EB70791E69CB18/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
There's more than meets the eye, unfortunately most of them are bigger than 2mb which is the file size limit on steam guides. So you'll just have to see for yourself. As of today there are at least 2 animated banners available. The rest are either alternatives, memes, or straight out of a movie, whatever you want, it's up to you.

Logos!
(otherwise known as the game titles)

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/37819645139433840/7D102EEA706911EBC54778202651D6FDCDA92487/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
It should be the same as the cover grid, just make sure its labled as a png file whether it be a
still image title or an animated one, as of today there is only 1 animated Title.

Icons!
(otherwise known as the desktop icon, or that small image next to the game
on the left side of steam)

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/37819645139433667/1F3C7D471DCFABBDD85FA282BBF5F997D484C24D/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
Now wether or not you want to change the icon in the steam library
is up to you. Just know that it's a bit more difficult in forcefully
replacing an icon on steam, than it is to just change the
desktop icon.
hover over the desktop icon, right click, select properties at the bottom,
change icon, then apply, and look for the file you wish to use.

The only reminder there, is making sure the file
is labled as an ".ICO" file, otherwise the System won't allow it.
For that, just convert whatever file you have into an ".ICO" using a file converter.
a simple google search should suffice.
(Epilogue)
Thanks for reading this quick guide, after messing with cover art for my other games not from steam, i stumbled upon the website and was absolutely shocked at the possibilities i discovered. after searching through guides about modding, i only saw a few talk about configuring the background or the cover art. Even then they only provided their own work (not that it was bad) but there was only a link to download a google drive. Even in the comments one person mentioned the website yet that was it. So i thought i might as well share the wisdom on something i never knew existed, something that makes my library filled with life rather than still, cropped, blurry images.
Now i have this for a banner!
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/37819645139519626/C14B88027D11F6E0ED57E2772E4509385C37C15E/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

Just one of many options!
i have yet to check the other games, and i will do so right after this.
I Thank you all for getting this far.
Please leave a review or a comment about anything i missed,
such as new uploads or options in the future.
GOODNIGHT!
