Big Oil (Stealth guide)

This guide was created to help new and old players to complete big oil the stealth way.
Please read the things you should know section before reading the rest.
This guide is purely for stealth!

Things you should know

First of all this guide was created using information that was collected on the "HARD" difficulty!
The Information that this guide provides you with may not be correct on other difficulty levels!
If you cant see stuff on the pictures PLEASE click on them they are all 1920x1080

This is the first steam guide created by me and I would appreciate feedback.

Day 1

There are a few things you should know before starting

• The fence can taze you, in that case don't
  touch it anymore. and search for the gate.(UNCOMMON)
  
• There can be enemys outside the building
  (RARE)
  
• The doors can have explosive traps rigged to them that explode if you pick the door or shoot the lock
  (TOO COMMON FOR MY TASTE)
  
• The cameras are rigged to landmines
  
  
  

  A not so interesting step by step guide

  1. Kill ALL the guards
     A good room to start is the garage.
     
  2. Start the Drill
     There is a section for the locations
     
  3. Get the assets for Day 2
     There is a section that shows you which assets you can find
     
  4. Collect some extra loot A list of possible Loot bags
     
     
     • Weapons
       
     • cocain(if there is a "Mendoza meeting")

Findable assets

• The completely useless blueprint
  personally i think that this asset is completly useless
  
  
• You can get lucky with the Intel.
  The intel pickup gives you a crap asset most of the time as you can see
  
  
• A keycard...................................
  The keycard is useful when you don't have ecm overdrive
  
  
• Plane keys for a faster escape..
  This is the most useful I suppose but you might as well wait for the chopper
  (alternative escape point)

Day2

Preparation

The Assets that you could have found in day 1:

• Blueprint (useless)
  
• Cold fission intel (useless)
  
• Guard intel (useless)
  
• Keycard (semi useful)
  
• Plane keys (very useful)
  
• Scientist intel(useless)
  
• Shutter codes (useful)

Try to avoid the guards try NOT to kill any guards if not necessary!

The actual mission

First find the server room and hack the pc don't leave the server room if you hack.(you will most likely just get seen)
You can easily find the server room by looking into the windows.
If you are sure that they aren't located in the upper storey then just open the door in the ground floor.
NOTE: you can look below the shutters and if you have the shutter codes you can open them.
In this case you'll have to raise the shutters...

After that enter the lab
Now you have to find the correct engine.

(The next section will explain how to find the correct engine)

After you found the correct engine:

1. Drop it on the floor
   
2. Activate the flare on the runway
   
3. Carry the the engine to the runway
   
4. Wait for the chopper
   
5. Survive
   
6. Escape
   
7. ???
   
8. Profit

Finding the correct engine

First of all you need to find the information that you need to find the correct engine:

• The pressure: It's on one of the computers!
  
• The clipboards(color&amount of cables): Always search the lab first(It's kinda rare for the clipboard to be out of the lab)

Hi everyone. I´m having a bug on day 2 of big oil. After having picked the keycard on day 1, when day 2 starts I no longer have it. Am I the only one?

I'll just highlight the tactic i used to quickly rush all asset spots
- Sneak into the 1st floor guestroom and clear it (use something with high damage and suppressors to gun down the room. Then pick up whatever is lying on the table.
- Place an ecm jammer
- Rush to the second floor and steal two other assets from the balcony and the staircase room
- Kill everyone with a red exclamation mark over their heads

@BunnyAlex321 Stealthing day 1 is difficult, even with two people. There isn't really much to say on how to kill the guards since it should be basic stealth room clearing (and also there is a certain amount of randomness in their spawns). But if it helps you, we always started with the garage and back door. You have to get somewhat lucky with their spawns or just be excedingly good (not me). You can easily clear a room with two of them on your own though, since you one shot them as long as they haven't seen you. Use something with a high firerate and spray them down, just be careful with the windows.

this barely feels like a fucking stealth guide. for example, on day 1 you say to kill all the guards yet dont elaborate on how to as even in normal its hard to do so (for me at least) since they immediately pull out their guns and shoot you, making a room with 2 of them impossible to deal with since you wont be able to kill them in time. it just feels like im randomly skipping to timestamps into a tutorial on how to stealth it or it feels like your just telling me stuff people know after attempting to stealth the mission for like 6 times in a row

Phew, just completed it on death sentence. Day 2 was SO much easier than Day 1... I needed help figuring out the damn engine puzzle, this was perfect.
