How to launch the game quickly (and fix the launch)

How to launch the game quickly ?
Follow the steps!

As a reader said : it's also fix the issue "has stopped working"

I just have to do that ?

Go into the game folder. For me, it's : D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Assassins Creed
Maybe it's not your directory, but the end will be that, so go into the Steam folder and then : \SteamApps\common\Assassins Creed

Go into the "Videos" folder. You'll have these files :

• DemoIntro.bik
  
• LoadingScreen.bik
  
• UBI_LOGO.bik
  
• Ubisoft_Presents.bik
  
• Warning_Disclaimer.bik

You just have to rename these files, in order to the game can't find them and launch automatically the main menu. In my side, I have added just a "1" at the end of the files name, just like that (then if I want to watch the intro video, I'll just have to remove the "1" of the "DemoIntro" file) :

• DemoIntro1.bik
  
• LoadingScreen1.bik
  
• UBI_LOGO1.bik
  
• Ubisoft_Presents1.bik
  
• Warning_Disclaimer1.bik

Launch your game, and the menu will automatically launch!

currently game launches but just goes to a black screen after the ubisoft logo but all the sound is there

Just tried this and I still cannot get the game to launch. Never had this problem in 10+ years of using steam games lol what is happening with AC games

I can not open Steam Game Overlay when i try it with game crashes. Did you know that how to fix this ?

Yeah, I did not on Windows 8 neither. Good thing it's ok for you on Windows 11!

Funny. I have Windows 11 and my OS is always updated, so is my graphic driver. I never have problem launching this game, everything is so smooth with 3-digit FPS.

tried this but the game just doesn't launch at all through steam, i initially downloaded directx fine and was trying to sign in to ubisoft through the initial menu that pops up, got an error message, game closed itself, now wont start again through steam. Starts fine through the directx9 game file but would like to get steam running
