MAKE GOREBOX OPEN SOURCE!!!!!
By FiXtal
Why do you need to do this?
1. Some people will participate in the creation and improvement of the game
2. I think this will be a breakthrough idea. How the first popular indie sandbox with violence will be open source
3. The game will be more varied and interesting and will compete with Gmod.

But the problem is that most of the GB community are young schoolchildren who are the first to hear the word open source code and don’t know a damn thing about modding or programming. There are people in GB who understand programming and creating mods and with their help GB will become much more better.

Everything I said is similar to Karl Marx's statements about communism and the ideal society.
But Felix and his team don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about all this.

But Felix and his team don’t give a ♥♥♥♥ about all this and what matters to them is money and their ideas and ambitions. Yes, even they can’t make normal controls with multiplayer like, for example, in Gmod.

I hope that my statements will be heard and spread. Everyone who has read this, spread this in the GB community, I will be very happy about it.

Decompiling it is useless unless you want the assets. It's compiled in IL2CPP and protected by IL2CPP, so decompiling it only gives the assets, the code is unworkable

If you try to make a gorebox pirate and with open source code, then when you enter the game you will have a screamer. Of course, you can somehow open the source code of this game, but I did not go into it.

just do mods or just enjoy vanilla, or decompile the game its self

Everything I wrote in that guide was amateurish nonsense from an idealist who knew little about open source. I will not delete this guide. I take any criticism addressed to me normally and am not offended:balloon:

GoreBox can't be made for a couple reasons:
1. The game uses paid plugins, that if shared, could put Felix into some SERIOUS trouble.
2. The game is massive, and making it open source could make it easy to be rebranded to some shitty knockoff.
3. The game already has modding support. V16(or later) may improve the API to make modding actually unique.

That would work, yeah, it wouldn't be wise to just let people blindly upload "improvements" to the code, suggesting fixes for them to add would be the best way to go, eitherway I do agree that opensource would carry this game big time, though the updates from just the devs alone luckily aren't too lackluster either

Relatively speaking, go through verification on some discord server or other social network and they will give you permission
