So start off by going to the following website https://cod4x.ovh/ so you will go to download section and download the lastest client version, which will be a zip file

Copy

Copy the folder from the zip file to COD4 folder

Install

Click on install.cmd to install the community patch.

Play

Startup COD4 multiplayer. go to multiplayer, Internet tab name would have changed and there should be one additional tab for internet servers. If no servers is showing, click refresh and wait a few seconds. Browse, select, and play.
