In-game Customization:

Console Commands:
  • setavolume "amount" (set the volume amount) 0 to 1, default is 0.3

Please note: You have to install X3NAmbience Base in order for this to work, a message will popup if you dont asking you to install it.

use setavolume "amount" in console to set how loud/quiet you want it to be, default is 0.3 you can set from 0 (0%) to 1(100%)
Personally i use 0.5

it is likely with the asktoinstall.lua, it is because both of them has the same in the same location, all by ambience packs would do this, but as you say does not break anything

Oddly there is a conflict in the errors section with the Stalingrad ambience. I could copy and paste it if you wish to see it, nothing seems to stop working as both packs work fine, I think it's just a file name conflict where two files are the same name.
