What the Energy Drinks Are For
Don't forget to:
With our energy drinks in tow, we will be able to trade with the merchant, Azooz. Azooz has three items for sale and I recommend snagging all three. Two of these items can be purchased with energy drinks:
  • One of B12's missing memories
  • Some sheet music for Morusque
In order to obtain these items, you'll need to collect all four energy drinks from the four different vending machines found in various locations throughout the slums.

Here's a video on how to find them or, if you prefer, read on.

The Blue Vending Machine
Location overview:
Situated in the heart of the Slums, this vending machine is near a music-filled plaza.

How to get there:
  • From the main hub, head towards the Guardian's area and face the Guardian.
  • Take a left and follow the signs pointing to Morusque, the robotic guitar player.
  • Descend a set of steps and keep your ears open for some music.
  • You'll find the blue vending machine directly across from Morusque, basking in his own... music.
Tip: Don't forget to interact with Morusque while in the Slums. Be sure to find all the sheet music, so you can hear Morusque play all of his favorite tunes and share some history.
The White Vending Machine
Location Overview:
Tucked away near the starting area of The Slums, this vending machine is hidden among alleyways.

Tip: The white vending machine is not only tricky to find but also holds one of the essential memories for B12. Make sure not to miss it.

How to get there:
  • Starting at Grandma's shop, look for an alley marked with a red bicycle.
  • Head down this alley and make an immediate left after the bicycle and into a dimly lit alleyway adorned with graffiti art.
  • Make your first right up the stairs (they are dimly lit so you might miss them, so keep an eye out for them.)
There you'll find a white vending machine next to a robot and a memory on the wall. Grab the drink and the memory.
The Red Vending Machine
Location Overview:
Perched high on the Slums' rooftops, the red machine overlooks the Slums.

Tip: The red vending machine is perhaps the easiest to find as it's out in the open on the rooftops.

How to get there:
  • Reach the rooftops by climbing the ladders and scaffolding near grandma.
  • Once you've found Heptor, turn completely around and survey the skyline.
  • Jump across a small gap and look for a red vending machine beside a cozy setup with a ladder and couch.
The Yellow Vending Machine
This was the most difficult vending machine for me to find.

Location Overview:
A secluded balcony just beneath the third vending machine's location.

Tip: The yellow vending machine can be challenging to find. Be patient if you don't find it right away.

How to get there:
  • From the Red Vending machine, face the general direction of the Guardian. The vending machine will be on the ledge on the right.
  • Look down to see a wooden plank leading to a small balcony.
  • Carefully jump down, following the plank to the balcony.
This hidden yellow vending machine is tucked away, waiting for you to discover it!
Which vending machine was the most difficult for you to find?
Now that you have your energy drinks, it's time to splurge! Head to Azooz and the Barterman and indulge in some retail therapy. Use your energy drinks to buy B12's memory to unlock more lore and backstory and nab some sheet music for Morusque to enhance life in the slums with captivating tunes.

Congratulations! You've cracked the Slums' vending machine code and conquered your search for Energy Drinks! You've scratched beneath the surface of the Slums, but make sure you've taken the time to explore. There are secrets and easter eggs everywhere, so keep an eye out.
