How to get actually get free Steam Points without being lazy
By Mouldlicker69
Hey, do you want to get a whole bunch of Steam Points, but not be another unorignal, shameless beggar, that spams the same Slop on Community Artwork tabs, or making the same guide, pleading ppl to give you them?

Well this is the guide that'll hopefully help get you free, and infact, more steam points than you get from begging, only by being original, and putting effort into it.

This guide will also teach you about the ways ppl beg for them, why they're so down bad for something that actually has no value to it, how you can possibly make more than they do. And how we could possibly rid our Communities from the Begging Menace for good.

Now with that sorted, we'll start with the first topic.

1. Who are the Steam Point Beggars?
Now the reason why i made this guide, is because I, and other people (possibly including you too) are sick and tired of users, begging for Steam Points instead of actually putting effort into earning them. But if you don't know who they are, or how to detect them, well i'm very surprised, but i'll let you know anyway.
Steam Point beggars are one of the most annoying, cringiest group of losers that lack any self awareness and common sense. They can be found in every single Community Hub on Steam, and are mostly around to try and farm Steam Points. But what makes them stand out, is that instead of posting fan content of the game they choose to go on, or making funny memes or guides. Mostly all of them lack any talent, and copy and paste the same, repetitve images on every Community Artwork page, begging for Steam Points. With not a single one of them being any different to eachother. Although the images are different, the message is still the same.

The most common of these you can find are these below.
But when they're not spamming the Artwork Feeds with the same tripe, they go to the Guides and do the same stuff. However, they're not as common as the Artwork ones nowadays, but are a lot sneakier in raking in steam points than the images. Although half of them try to be a bit more creative, if you look closely into them, and compare them to one another. You can detect a small pattern going on.

Most of them seem to have the following things included in every one of them. Most of them either have goofy images of cats, saying that you should have good grammar, and to wait for chads to give you them. Most of them have those same identifications in every guide, but the thing that makes them obvious, is the title being called, "How to get Free Steam Points".

There are also some that disguise themselves as normal funny guides, like HOW TO OPEN THE GAME, which many people copied and spammed it in many Guide feeds for Steam Points. You can find out by looking at some profiles and checking their guides and stumbling upon a mountain of the same post spammed onto other games, same with the images.
There are probably other scummy ways they get Steam Points. But the most common you'll find are in the Artwork and Guide tabs, with people blindly giving them Steam Points for no valid reason. But why do they beg for them you ask? Well keep reading and you'll find out why.
2. Why beg for them in the first place?
Now i know all of you are familiar with the Steam Points and what they do, but if your new to Steam. I'll give you a quick brief on what Steam Points and why so many people try to beg and haggle people for something, that's just as valuable as Reddit Karma.

Steam Points can be obtained only by purchasing games, and receiving Community Awards. But what makes them special is that you can use them to purchase many accessories to your account, such as animated frames and backgrounds for your profile, stickers and emoticons you can use in chat, and many more. you can even use them to purchase seasonal badges to level up your account, but you'll need to wait a while to get new badges.

Now the reason why most people beg for Steam Points, is mostly to show off the many things they have on their profile, which they got from them, and make it as flashy as possible. Mostly to attract other users to it, and make them look cool, and make them more accepting to friend requests or trade deals. Now there's no problem with wanting to fancy up your profile, and such. But doing it by almost, scamming players of their Steam Points by using the same no effort slop, and almost depriving people that actually put love and effort into their content. Although Steam Points are mostly worthless irl, it's still a very big ♥♥♥♥ move.

But although they keep appearing everywhere, most people became smart enough to not give them anything. Except for the gullible people who still donate half of theirs to them. But since people have gone wiser over the past few years, they don't make much, despite still appearing in community hubs in large numbers. So if you want to make more steam points than they do, hopefully the methods in the next step can help.
3. The many methods of getting Steam Points
Now i will give you a heads up. Most of the free methods require only love and effort, patience, and a lot of creativity. The most common things that most beggars completely lack the most.

Also do know, that when you do these methods, you won't get Steam Points right away with every post, or might not get much as you want. But as long as you keep trying, and and put more work into it, you will rake in many Awards for your hard work. Mostly, it's a bit like Gambling. Where you can make a butt load of Steam Points from your content, or maybe even non, but if you keep trying hard and keep making them, you'll earn a few. The only difference is that you'll never lose any of them in return.
]Now with that explained, i'll go on about the methods on how to earn them, starting with

1. ♥♥♥♥𝗽𝝾𝘀𝘁ing
This is one of the common methods that I mostly like to do, that can not only earn you lots of Steam Points, but you can entertain people, and lighten up their day. Whether it's in images, gifs or even videos. Making your own memes or any form of ♥♥♥♥post can earn you a few Steam Points, from 2k to even 30k Steam Points if your lucky.

There are many tricks you can do to make memes. You can use a simple template and copy and paste, or draw some stuff onto it,. Or you can take some inspiration from other memes you saw before, and come up with some ideas. And ofc, keeping up with trendy ones. But one of the best ways to get the most awards, is to make it related to the game you love to play, and have it stand out from the rest. If you also have new games that your unfamiliar with, you can do alot of research about the lore and other things, and find something to make a meme out of.

The only things you need to make memes can range from fancy software such as SFM, Sony Vegas Pro, or something simple as MS Paint and GIMP, or any other Photoshop app. Whatever it is you use, the important thing is to really put your heart into it. If you don't show any love in making it, why should they pay any attention to it? So always put some love and care into your content, as if your cooking up a fine dish. The same goes for all the methods you use.

If you don't have the creative mind to come up with memes, or just don't have the stuff to make them, you can always follow the other steps.

2. Writing helpful, yet funny guides
Now if your a Epic Sigma gamer who puts their entire lifespan into one game, and 100%'s every title in your library, this one can be great for you. Cause you can always write about the many things in the game you know, like how to find Easter Eggs, the easiest ways to get Achievements, or how to improve your skills, etc. Anything that can help new players have a fun experience, but will also get you plenty awards.

You can also spice your guides up with adding some small bits of humor into them, including jokes, funny images and other things that might keep the reader entertained. You can even make joke guides about the game, and make up funny topics for the reader. But even if the topics your on about are a bit more serious and informative. If you want to, you can still add some small parts of humor into them. Just don't go a bit overboard with them, or people won't take it seriously.

Whatever it is you write, whether it's funny, or informative. Make sure you know what your writing about, and to make your grammar as clearly as you can make it. You can also add screenshots and videos to further help the reader understand on what to do in the game. Add as much as you know, and always keep your stuff in sections. And make it as presentable as you possibly can, and always respond to feedback. Once you do all these things, you might get yourself a whole bunch of Steam Points.

3. Writing Comments or Reviews
You can basically copy most of what to do on the guides and implement them into the reviews. Such as having good grammar, and adding as much as you can, whether it's a a good or bad review. And make if funny, but that's optional thoughl. However, with both comments and reviews, there's one old trick in the book that's been used many times to get them easy, but in a less shameful way. And that trick is called 𝙍𝘼𝙂𝙀𝘽𝘼𝙄𝙏.

Although that can be seen as a cheap way to get Steam Points. Like all forms of Trolling, Ragebait is a form of art, that demands skill and effort in order for it to work. On Steam, most of the common ragebait stuff you can find, is people mostly being a contrarian, and adding politics into discussions, and in their reviews. Mostly in the form of saying that one game is good, and calling people those who don't like it (insert minority) phobic and bigoted, or either calling people who play the game, Woke, Lefty Snowflakes. Or you can be original and come up with your own Ragebait.

It doesn't matter what route you take. Depending on it's believability, you can trick lots of people to rage at you and shower you with Clown rewards, with some even getting 3k of them, including some other rewards. As effective Ragebaiting can be, sometimes it can make you a target, and you'll get harassed to Kingdom Come. If your not able to handle the heat, you can always roast a ragebait comment, and will sometimes get you rewarded with lots of Steam Points. But if you relish in being a troll and watching people get riled up, have fun.

4. Artwork
This is same as the meme one, but will require much more time and effort, but might get you more Awards. However, the amount of awards you can might depend on which type of game you choose to make art on. Most artists have the most success on either Fantasy, or Anime games, but that doesn't mean you won't get anything from other genres.

Steam is one of the best ways for artists to show off their talents, from simple doodles on a piece of paper, from absolutely fine, detailed pieces of work. Whether it's wholesome art of characters, Meme drawings, or even Shipping and Animations, any piece of art can get you lots of Steam Points. Also do know, if your the type of person to make a certain type of art, you know. 🍆💦🍑. It won't enhance the number of Steam Points you'll receive, but feel free to still make it if you wish. Just please keep it Legal, ok?

If your an artist yourself, whether you paint on a canvas, or if you make it on a computer, either 2D or 3D, or even an animator. You can definitely use this to make more Steam Points, and most importantly, express yourself.

5. Making Mods in the Workshops

Now this one will be the hardest to do, even for those who actually make them. But if you want to give it a try but don't know how, you will need to do alot of research, and i mean ALOT! Whether it's making gun reskins or changing an entire game's mechanics, Creating mods will take much more time than the rest of the steps combined. However, it's also the method that makes the most Steam Points out of all of them.

Mods are one of the many great reasons on why PC Gaming can be lots of fun. Because you can change so much about a game and even make it better, and also help breath new life into much older titles. From mods ranging from new weapons, graphic overhauls, or even the Sussy Corn Mods. Out of all the free methods, this one will get you the most Steam Points, Just make sure you have the right software, and you studied all the things required to make them.

Now there's probably other ones i could've mentioned. But those are the best ones to do, to get the most Awards from. But in the end. The beggars will still be around, and continue their garbage.
4. Will the Beggars ever go away?
Although Steam Point Beggars aren't that much of a big deal compared to bigger problems on the site, such as scammers, hackers, etc. They're still bit of a pest in the Community Hubs, that will not go away. No matter how much we try to get rid of them. Many tried reporting them and get them community banned which sometimes work, but many others take their place and continue to plague our Feeds.
Now the number one reasonn why they aren't going anywhere, are due to the amount of Gullible people that still spare them some Community Awards, even giving them many "Take My Points!" for literally posting the same slop as seen on other Communities. And it's that type of behavior that encourages even more people to beg, and have them multiply and infest more community hubs like Rodents. Particularly, they can be blamed for why people are still begging for Steam Points.

Apparently, the only thing we can do to make them go away, or atleast stop them from growing, is to encourage more people to stop giving them Steam Points easily, and have them earn it themselves. Maybe make funny memes, poking fun at the beggars, or just warning people about them, and not to give them anything. Cause if we manage to convince everyone not to give them Steam Points. They might actually give up and go away.

If you wish to do so. Feel free to steal these, to spread the message.

Whatever way you try to spread the message, hopefully we can cut down the number of Steam Point begging Slop, and drive them away from Community Servers for good. And before i finish the Guide. Please do not go too far against the Beggars. As shameless and lazy as they are. They're not worth getting harassed, or worse,. So please don't attack them personally. Just encourage people to stop giving them awards, and cut off their supply.

With that said, i hope this guide has been helpful in teaching you all how to get Steam Points the right way, And i wish you all the best of luck in your content making endeavours. And that hopefully one day, we can rid the
Community hubs of the beggars for good.
