You can also use 2 flare guns, run right upto him and open fire in his face, you'll take no damage as a lvl 6 bug on a full HoE server.
I do agree with demo not touching Scrakes at all if possible, exceptions being if a team member is about to die or you have no other choice. When I play demo I will not open fire on a Scrake unless it's one of the exceptions above but that's the problem, a number of players don't see that perk as a support class for the rest of the team and will open fire on a single clot with 6 M32 rounds :o
But, fact is, Demo shouldn't necessarily deal with it beyond hard difficulty, except for stun with L.A.W. or Pipe, pls mention this in your guide...be honest, how many times did Demo rage 1,2, 3 Scrakes with misplaces Launchers/Grenades and thus wiped your party (or, at least was the reason why Squad Members died) on any difficulty beyond normal? I suppose often enough, so it's worth a mention - let it best be dealt by SS, Zerker or Sups, or mention at least that teamwork between FB and Sup is great against them (Dual Flare + AA12 or Hunting Shotgun)
