Guide to Juicing Maps and Stats: Results from Juicing 1400 Unsorted Map Drops

What is Map Juicing?
Map juicing is the process of stacking map modifiers (via currency, Delirium orbs, etc.) to create the best possible maps to run. By “best” we mean:
  • Maximized item quantity and quality
  • Safety from lethal modifiers

Criteria for the Best Maps
Optimize Looting and Safety:
  • Looting: Maximize the quantity and quality of items dropped.
  • Safety: Avoid any dangerous map mods that could cause deaths.

T16 Maps:
These let you access level 82+ areas, which is vital for:
  • Consistent ilvl 82 item drops
  • Crafting high‐end gear (ilvl 84 for top‐tier mods)
  • Some high‐level bases can sell for 20–60 ex

Delirious Maps:
  • Adds free Simulacrum splinters and other Delirium rewards.

Use Affordable Oils:
  • Guilt – Increases pack size
  • Greed – Adds item rarity
  • Paranoia – Adds rare monsters

Key Stats for Ideal Maps
  • T16 Maps with:
    1. 20–25% Quantity of Items
    2. 140%+ Rarity of Items
    3. 60%+ Increased Rare Monsters
  • No lethal or “build‐killing” modifiers.
  • Such maps can sell for 1–2 div (slow) or 70+ ex (instant).

Crafting Process for Juiced Maps
1) Start with T15 Maps
  1. Normal Quality: Use Orb of Alchemy.
  2. Magic Quality: Use Orb of Augmentation + Regal Orb.
  3. Result: Rare maps with at least 3 modifiers.

2) Filter Maps
  • Remove maps with:
    1. "Increased Gold Modifier"
    2. Any lethal modifiers for your build
  • Prioritize maps with Rarity or Rarity + Quantity modifiers.

3) Upgrade Maps with Exalts
  1. Use Exalted Orbs for more mods.
  2. Stop if you roll:
    • Dangerous mods
    • "Gold" modifier
  3. Discard any bricked or unsafe maps; they’re not worth running.

4) Add Delirium
  1. Apply Delirium orbs before corrupting.
  2. Choose Oils to fill gaps or push specific stats further.

5) Corrupt the Map
  • Potentially upgrades to T16.
  • Adds or changes modifiers.
  • Some maps can brick or lose tier.

Stats from 1400 Maps
Before Exalt Saturation:
  • ~35% of maps are “safe” (contain Rarity or Quantity + Rarity mods).

After Exalt Saturation:
  • “Safe” maps drop to ~27.5%.

Corruption Results (sample size: 387 maps):
  1. No Effect: 104 maps (~26.9%)
  2. Lost Tier: 48 maps (~12.4%)
  3. All Prefix Mods: 40 maps (~10.3%)
    • Only 8 did NOT have the "Gold" modifier
  4. All Suffix Mods: 41 maps (~10.6%)
    • Only 2 were “safe”
  5. Added Modifiers: 112 maps (~28.9%)
    • 9 had lethal or “Gold” mods
  6. Increased Tier (T16): 42 maps (~10.8%)
    • 7 had Quantity + Rarity
    • 35 had Rarity only

Economy of Juicing Maps
Cost Breakdown for 100 Maps:
Base Cost: • 100 maps @ 1.5 ex each = 150 ex • 100 Alchemy Orbs = 25 ex Saturating Maps: • ~35 maps ready for Exalts: 2 ex each = 70 ex • ~27 remain after filtering Delirium + Vaal: • ~3 ex/map for Delirium = 80–90 ex total • 27 Vaal Orbs = 3 ex TOTAL ≈ 330 ex (2.2 div)

Potential Profit (per 100 Maps):
  • Perfect T16 Maps: ~3 maps @ 1–2 div each = 3–6 div
  • T15 Maps with 2 Mods: ~3 maps @ 20–30 ex each
  • All Suffix Maps: ~3 maps @ 10 ex each
  • Other T15: ~10 maps @ 2–10 ex each
  • Lower-tier maps: ~2 ex each
Estimated overall profit: ~4–10 div (subject to market trends)

Summary
Key Takeaways:
  1. ~3% of maps become “perfect” for max looting.
  2. ~15% of maps remain good for general farming.
  3. All-prefix maps without "Gold" can shine for stacked Breach encounters.

TL;DR:
• Focus on T16 maps with safe, rewarding mods
• Invest in Delirium, Oils, and corrupt wisely
• Expect high variance and potential big gains
• Good luck and happy mapping!
