Locations of all Black Books on Solstheim

If you are looking at this guide, you are a dumb***, but you are welcome to look at this guide, lol.

This guide is basically me telling you where the books are and how to get them.

Spoiler Alert: If this is your first time playing Skyrim, I say look at this after your first playthrough. Don't wanna ruin your experience.

The Clear Out Dungeon Black Books

As it says in the title of this section, just go into these dungeons and Clear them out. The book should literally be at the end of these 2 dungeons.

Nothing complicated for these 2.

The Main Quest Black Books

These books are the one you need to complete the dlcs main quest line and destroy Miraak.



For Waking Dreams, start the dlc by getting attacked by cultists after the quest "Way of the Voice", or whenever really, then go to Solstheim and then go straight to Miraaks Temple. Use the image or your map to find it.

Then you will meet Frea and you too will clear out the dungeon.

Just like the clear out dungeon books it will be at the end of the dungeon.

No excuses here. If you screw this part up, Imma laugh at you.



For the second one, it is in a Dwarven ruin. The one in the image here.

After you get Waking Dreams, learn Bend Will and free the Skaal, the Skaal Shaman will point you to Neloth. Who's home is a giant mushroom.

Then you and Neloth will clear out the dungeon, pump Steam to the room where the book is and get the book

The Side Quest Black Books

And these are the last ones. These are the side quest books. So basically, you can get these whenever at any point like the clear out ones.



For this book, go to this location, there you find a dark elf. He will ask for lots of money to dig up the Nordic ruin. So this book is a back and forth kind of thing. Simple really.



For this ine, go to the Raven Rock mine. It is near the market place. There you find an old man. He will ask you to find his great grandfather's remains. Just go through the dungeon and it should be at the end.



For this one, it is in Neloths place. Just begging to be grabbed. Tho it is locked behind this metal door thing. Where his staff enchanter is.

To unlock it, if I remember right, you need to find Neloths steward, spoiler alert, She's dead. Then you need to find Neloth a new one. Go to the Retching Netch Cornerclub and find a man named Dravos. Hrs a dark elf. Find him and hire him.

Then if I am right, Neloth should give you the key to the door.
